Praktikals: The issue of one man, one woman.
People make it look as though marrying more than one wife is an automatic ticket to Hell. But, on the contrary, God seems to have special likening for polygamists. Or how else do you want to explain His love for people like David, Solomon and Father Abraham.
People say that is old testament, but God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Another is the issue of tithing. Tithes should be given to the needy. The Holy Bible did not say give to the pastor. How can you ask me to give out my salary to someone like Baba Oyedepo?

The truth sayer: Am sorry for saying this becoz i dnt knw if it may hurt some1. The real/correct bible was changed by ancient chriatian leaders, after changing it, they then hide the real bible of prophet ISAH(jesus{a.s}) so that we the end people will not see the truth about God and his Messengers. Beer with me, just think, have u ever seen where Qur'an verse was changed? or even a single alphabet was changed from the holy Qur'an?. I can remember this year(about last 4-5month) that was shown in many satelite chanel medias that 1 of the hidden real bible is in TURKEY, but the holders request for a great amout of money for each page of it for them to release it, but i dont knw why no1 cares about it again. Slim Shawty: I know three teenagers(siblings) in my church who're orphaned.When their parents died,they were left with nothing.The members of the church took responsibility.
The eldest gained admission into Covenant University,under the sponsorship of the church.The two younger ones attend good schools here in ph,under the sponsorship of the church.Infact,you'd never believe that they're orphans.
Every quarter of the year,there's a samaritan week in my church.Clothes,shoes,foodstuff,and money are given to the poor and needy.Sometimes,collective units in the church take it upon themselves to start up businesses for those who lack capital to do so on their own.
And there's also the church bursary that comes up every year...infact the list is endless.
Not all pastors are wont to televise,or announce their charity works with gongs and loud trumpets.Some prefer to do it quietly.
And as for the church members...who told u they're suffering?Have you ever walked past a church compound and wondered if it's a car shop or if there's a car sale going on there?? I have.Lotsa times,trust me.
As far as I'm concerned,churches are trying,even more than the government.Shikenah.

What people want is that,churches should start announcing on TV or radio on how they help the poor,they want the church to start broadcasting it that they help the poor...smh.
Jesus said we should do things in secrets and our Father in heaven will reward us openly.
I wonder how many poor people have been helped by the peolple condemning churches in this thread,smh.

@Op,all you wrote here is true,complete true,i don't like religious talk or arguments on NL but my one year experience in a catholic community,working with them,dining with them shows that they are far from KNOWING God,they are 'religious' people,most things they do are contradictory to the Bible.
Most of this people are gullible people,who have reverence for men than for God.
I have so many things to say about this,but I will keep shut for a while.
May The Lord open their eyes.
