I spoke over the phone with a heartbroken applicant to Finland from last year, and I learned that even after meeting the criteria for a student permit, unfortunately Nigeria and Africa are among areas with reduced quotas for RP...Pls try to have other options as you work out your migration routes, so that you do not meet a brick wall....Like I told many of you on audio call, you can strategically plan this whole movement by anchoring first in a less fanciful European country, also note that for many Nigerians living here, America, Canada and Australia is their final destination, but took here as a step toward those big nations I just listed....So for others, their first country could even be Ukraine, Turkey, Cyprus etc

Be guided
I hear you sir...Makes a lot of sense to me now.

Please I have my own questions now and I kindly need answers too from my people , and here they are:

1) I have been saving money every month since I started working when I arrived this country to my Diamondbank account in Nigeria, and I operated this account as a student, my question is this: How do I know the limit on this account? Also, by my projections it could swell too much for a student account, abeg I hope say these my project money dey safe? embarassed

2) Also does the merger with access bank affect anything? Do I need to do anything wrt this?

3) Can I install the Fidelity Bank App and start using it like I use my Diamondbank here? Can someone help me with a screenshot of how it looks like? I use iOS too... My Nigerian sim gets SMS here so getting codes nor be wahala

Kindly note that I have researched online about these but I need on the ground answers, let me know what I’m doing here...

1. Yes there are limits to the student account, I remember mine was around 150k that time. But it's no big deal because, any amount fit enter inside until you will want to make a withdrawal. You can always resolve it by just presenting your passport and they will upgrade it. From my experience at least.

2. So far, the merger with access has no effect whatsoever. Nothing has changed for both customers. So you're good.

3. If you have an online banking ID with the bank already then its not really difficult but if you don't then I'm afraid if its gonna work because the bank sets your banking ID tied to the particular phone you use to do your banking transactions.

P.S: If you already have account with Fidelity and you still dey with the naija Sim you used to open it there, you fit still use normal SMS run transactions I think.

P.S.S: I use android, I don't know if I can screenshot the android version for you.

Remember this Naija proverb: ”Life na standing fan, if e blow me small, e go still blow you small”...Every dog has it’s day, I recall a few years ago when I made a lot of friends on this travel section, I never erased that mental picture of seeing myself succeeding in my travel plans, with perseverance, and that grace from God, everything is possible...

Just dont forget to keep that mental picture in your head...If a contrary thought comes, send it on it’s own way! Keep dreaming and hustling, you go dey alright

Thank you Zlatan...I just finish dey learn 123 for Finnish ooo...hahaha

Nairaland / General / Re: My Stammering Issue Is Depressing Me by Mintmoney(m): 9:51pm On Dec 20, 2018
Hey man there's no point getting depressed. I think you are letting the world get at you for no reason. The only reason you think your situation is worse is because yours is easy for everyone to notice, there are people living with worser conditions than you can ever imagine and will secretly be willing to switch place with you.

I can imagine your pain bro but then it's never enough to ever get your self depressed.

My point is life is never fair, we are all f***d up in some way.

Stay alive man.

Interesting write up...The way the Jubril story spread reminds me of the book Ideovirus. Nnamdi KANU is a smart I'm afraid to admit.

And many will never understand it in the context he was speaking from. Nothing wrong with being dangerously rich...

Social media and there twisting of every single word a person makes.

Finally here is someone who is thinking... You made a lot of point here.

As a DJ sometimes I really get ashamed of some of our big names in Nigeria especially when it comes to live events. They suck like mad..

Just like you noted...The PR people are doing a good job for them.

Politics / Re: 2019: Nkanu East Endorses Ugwuanyi For Second Term by Mintmoney(m): 1:10am On Nov 06, 2018
Pure propaganda and all lies....99% of the people where there to get there own share of the money.

If him like make him share a million per person we are never going to vote him come 2019.

Ugwuanyi lost Nkanu East the day he gave Chimaroke automatic ticket to the Senate, which was and is still against the will of the majority. The PDP primary in Nkanu was only staged for the sake of formalities.

A governor that gives automatic ticket to a candidate that God knows which country he has been hiding since and who never participated in any of the process.

Chimaroke is not only unfit to go to the senate but also unconcerned by the prights of the Nkanu east people. The people from Ugwaka, Nara, Mburubu , Nkerefi etc have suffered enough from this dullards and come 2019 it wouldn't be business as usual.

We wouldn't be voting based on PDP or APC but on individual merit.
