Politics / Re: Presidential Poll: How Jonathan, Ahmadu Ali Averted Crisis- Vanguard by minwafor: 10:48pm On Apr 05, 2015
Well for the people who are not so enthuastic about the accolade that the president is getting, they should rather reserve their comment. I think that the president DESERVES ALL THE ACCOLADE SHOWERED ON HIM FROM NIGERIANS AND ALL OVER THE WORLD. If you dont like it, then leave the thread.

I wonder what Buhari would have done if he was in the shoes of Jonathan- in ref to the pvc not reading his fingerprints and the discouragement of his supporters but late arrival of inec staff and the malfunctioning of the card readers. Am just thinking aloud.
Politics / Re: Meet the Five Architects Of Jonathan’s Defeat. by minwafor: 10:19pm On Apr 01, 2015
I think that the people that contributed to Goodluck's defeat are:

1. Femi Fani-Kayode- The congential liar: He was one of the people deceiving the president that even when he wad losing the election, he held a press conference that he had intel that told him that PDP will still win by 2-3m votes. His campaign strategy of calumny realy backfired.

2. Mama Peace- The Militant wife of a gentleman: Men, this woman said many things that made pple to wonder if we are preparing for war. Insulting the region with the highest number of registered voters will not help ur baby win an election.

3.Asari and co-the unrepentant "freedom fighter": it is what a keen eye that I watched as ex-nigerdelta militant threatened fire and brimestone if GEJ is not elected. GEJ made a silly mistake by playing half clever in his lastmeia chat after the election was canceled. He refused to dissociate himself from them and their claim. Nigerians like me dared him to do his worst.

4. PDP Governors-The Sycophantic Backstabbers: this group of people praised and magnified GEJ modest achievement to the high heavens. They even offered him the right to contest the presidency without primaries. This they did after obtaining the GEJ's endorsement to run for senate unopposed. They ended up scattering the fragment that was left of the pdp. Now some of them are at the senate leaving the president in murky water of political wilderness.

5. TAN-The Satanic voodoo Manipulator: I so dont trust these deceivers of our time. In fact, I dislike them. They crisscrossed the six geopolitical of this country and brought out a list of signatories that deluded the president. After all their jamboree, they fall Jonah hands.
Pls feel free to add Deceptcon economic team, storytelling power ministry, celebrites without pvc, Traditional rulers that loved money etc,

Politics / Re: APC Asks 19 Ekiti Lawmakers To Return by minwafor: 7:02am On Apr 01, 2015
This is why PDP said that APC was formed solely for Vendetta. If a state chairman will call the residents of a state to disobey a clear directive that will curtail unruly activities and fighting, then this is not the change we voted for. Good morning Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Buhari To Address The Nation - Vanguard by minwafor: 6:40pm On Mar 31, 2015
Buhari should be wary of people that will delude him. Sycophants like ffk, Okupe and Abati, they will do him more harm than good. He should appoint technocrats irrespective of their party affilation. That will make him a true leader just like Mandiba.
Politics / Re: Asari Dokubo On Twitter, ''this Is An Outrage'' by minwafor: 5:35pm On Mar 31, 2015
Asari Dokubo is now too well-fed and over-pampered to move to the creek to wage any guerilla warfare. Times have changed so he should stop all these unnecessary rantings.

If this is true, then it is over for PDP. Congrats to the general on a well resounding victory.
Politics / Re: Buhari, Jimi Benson In Early Lead In Ikorodu - PM News by minwafor: 10:11pm On Mar 28, 2015
The caption is very misleading. As for the presidential, no unofficial result was given and yet you say that Buhari is leading. Pls stop building castle in the air. Let Inec do their job.

Men, this man is still your president at least till at least May 29. Please show some respect.
Politics / Re: Jonathan Arrives Otuoke Amidst Tight Security by minwafor: 6:53pm On Mar 27, 2015
Welcome home Mr President. You will come back to Abuja a stronger person. The Lord will be your strength in this race. But make sure you disassociate yourselve from evil men and evil counsellors. They wil not help you. Fear not Mr President.
Politics / Re: OPC, Ex-militants In Military Uniforms To Attack Opposition – APC by minwafor: 3:41pm On Mar 27, 2015
APC is always crying "wolf, wolf". It reminds me about a story of the Foolish Shepherd boy that used to stunt the villagers by screaming wolf, wolf. He did it over and over until the villagers decided not to heed to his calls again. The next day a real wolf came and destroyed all his sheep and no one helped him.

The moral of this story is that APC should pls get their facts right before calling the press. Alot of all these alarmist claims from them are just futile. However, I advise that they have their intelligence unit and provide pictorial evidence to make these allegations more credible. God bless Nigeria. May the right candidate win.
Politics / Re: Buhari's Manifesto Vs Jonathan's Manifesto by minwafor: 3:23pm On Mar 27, 2015
Both manifestos are dubious for my liking. They are not telling us how they will achieve all these promises. Like in the case of the removal of oil subsidy, it was not a major plan of the pdp, but believe me that they will remove it when the election is over. The APC promises are also too good to believe like making N1 to $1, stabilising the international prices of crude oil, building new refineries, free education from primary to secondary, social welfare of N5000 to unemployed, tertiary education loans etc.

I think that we should evaluate all these promises critically so that our leader tomorrow will not find it difficult to explain why they failed their people like GEJ and Ogebeni Rauf. God bless us all.

Our judical system is in a mess. Wait oh, what if they ruled in favor of Mr Okon, what would have happened? That is why it is imperative for us to stay after the election and make sure that the votes are duely counted and pasted before we disperse. The judiciary should wake oh, enough of sleeping on bike

Politics / Re: Why I Owe Osun Workers 5 Months Salary – Aregbesola by minwafor: 4:34pm On Mar 26, 2015
I was very terrified when I saw Ogbeni trying to find words to explain the reason why he cant pay the workers of Osun state. I wonder how the people of the state will be faring because they depend so much on the salaries of the civil servants. He should do the needful-pay the worker. If he is going to downsize the workforce, he should do it reasonably. His budget for 2014 was unrealistic as I wondered how the state could get up to 210 billion naira. He should pls, as as matter of urgency, pay his workers

Igbos playing copy cat to the Yorubas since 1960, the Yorubas always leads in everything and the contracts, and there was no news of him giving dollars to them.
My man, it's like you are biased or bear some grudges against Igbo people. When I read comments like the one you just made, I really start developing cold feet abt voting for APC. You dont need to make derogatorial remarks about ndigbo and their monarchs. After all, it was in Yorubaland that BRIBES WORTH MILLIONS OF DOLLARS were collected showing that your Obas lacked integrity. Good day and goodluck to you.

Politics / Re: Jonathan’s Visit: Police Tear Gas Protesting Women In Imo by minwafor: 1:30pm On Mar 25, 2015
To teargas women that this critical period is not good at all. The polices have further degraded the image of the incumbent president. This is a big minus as the people that perpetuated this act should know osrdly forget, ask Ikedi when he allegedly slapped a priest. I pray that this report is not just truth.

This is very strange. Anyway I wish him Goodluck. Politics, after all, is a game of interest. If he thinks that Buhari will favor him, then he should support him, simple.

As a scholar, did you look at the source? Did you open their website? Did you ask for the fulll report in excel? or you will just stay here and open your dirty mouth.

my brother, you're too naive for my liking if you believed that report. Just pick up a newspaper or you can even google the advert rates of newspapers in Nigeria to understand what am talking about. As for dirty mouth, I am too civilised to trade words with a total stranger. Perhaps, what u did here is just CYBERBULLYING. Peace bro.
Politics / Re: Commissioning Of Phase 1, 504MW Alaoji Power Station - Aba, Live On NTA. by minwafor: 2:43pm On Mar 24, 2015
Abagworo:
Credit for Alaoji and Geometric goes to Obasanjo. Jonathan has been frustrating both plants. Geometric has long been completed but sabotaged by Sambo and Emeka Offor.
My brother na true talk. Alaoji IPP should have been the first of its kind in Nigeria. The power plants should have stArted working 4 years if not for the neglect and policy inconsistency of the PDP govt. I live in Aba and knew when that project started because our camp is very close to the Alaoji power plant. Geometrics was betrayed when the EEDC was bought by Emeka Offor's and Patience's Interstate.

Anyway, I am waiting for Goodluck on saturday.

Whoa! Thats harsh. People I did final interview with got their success mails that day and went for documentation like 2 days after, to lecture them about the 2 million stage. They've probably forgotten you passed. Did you call any HR person?

As for the refunding, its like you haven't heard nothing too right?
I have sent email to Ifeoluwa and I have not heard anything from him.

As a scholar, you have to look at the source of information to assert its authenticity. The source looks spurious and the amount spent is even way too little to be true. However, this report was done to favor the Apc.
Politics / Re: How GEJ's Airport Shuttles Weaken Abuja Security, Endanger Residents by minwafor: 11:02pm On Mar 22, 2015
The writer of this rubbish should know that his points are mere fallacy. There are some communities in this country that lack police officers and armed robbers have not finished them off. The APC hypocrites will also complain that there is an assaination attempt on their lives if their escorts are reduced by half. This article is not just news worthy and shouldn't have made front page.

I was dropped after the final interview. Something about my skills not being what the bank needs at the moment...as if they were drunk when they were interviewing m, e from the panel interview stage.

What about you? I have this feeling they only refunded the fares of those in training school. Unfortunately, I have no way to confirm my theory.
my bro, you should be here that they told you that you were dropped. I did the final interview on the 9th of December and up till this hour I have not heard any word from them. As for refunding, I seriously doubt that they will do that. Nigerian orgs can be funny at times.

I am very disappointed by the comments of some people about this topic. It shows how backward our reasoning and our society are. First of all, that a person is your boss does not mean that you should bow to his wife. That's very absurd. In the Igbo culture, a man does not kneel before a woman( I believe that we had similar culture with the Efiks of Akwa Ibom), especially in the public. It is a taboo.
Secondly, the journalist did a very nice work. Now for people that are ranting nonsense about poking his nose where it doesnt belong, it is his duty to make us know and he did it excellently well.
The policeman is totally unprofessional and does not clearly know his job. If an investigation is did and if the purported text message is truth, then he ought to be sanctioned. People should not threaten Journalist and the police will just turn a blind eye and even further intimidate the press. Remember what happened in France and Denmark. Despite satirical drawing that shouldnt have been drawn, the police are still protecting those cartoonist and journalist uptill now. Thats the way a democracy should be.
