We all know that the North has the population to decide the country election, and they have used the uninterrupted period of ruling and I expect them to respect the fact that we have other region in the country.

By this time in 2015, wike unleashed every might(federal might, pej and gej might, police and army might, thug might,etc. ) on amaechi and rivers apc members. 4 years down the line, he's receiving it just like he served us last time. OFFICIAL announcement of the Governorship election held Saturday throughout the state has commenced at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s headquarters in Asaba, the state capital with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP winning four out of the five local governments so far declared by the commission.

Our correspondent who is at INEC headquarters in Asaba monitoring the announcement, reports that Chief Great Ogboru of the All Progressives Congress, APC has one local government area. As at press time, the commission has announced five out of the 25 local governments in the State.

The local government by local government announcement of the results is being coordinated by the Returning Officer for the election in Delta State, Prof Seth Accra Jaja flanked by the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Dr Cyril Omoregbe and heads of security agencies in the state.

The result for the election from Ukwuani Local government area was first to be officially announced with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa scoring 18,328, while Chief Great Ogboru got 7,264.

In Ethiope East Chief Great Ogboru of the APC won with 21,141, while Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP scored 11,489. At Patani Local government, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa polled 19,683 votes against Chief Great Ogboru’s 3,288 votes.

In Ika South local government,
Dr Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP scored 33,371 votes to beat Chief Great Ogboru who polled
3,877 votes. In Ika North-East Local government, Chief Great Ogboru got 2,303 votes, while Dr Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP cruised home with 67,417 votes.
