Yea, the quaker oats can be ground in the market to be smooth like flour and then used to make swallow. Replace your garri, fufu and poundo yam especially for those with diabetic issues or just staying healthy. Its getting popular in the markets here in Nigeria. There is this 'heart healthy' oats they sell, its just a bit expensive but I think any other one like the good morning oats too will be fine. |
Thanks...... |
Lol it was just my top comedians on instagram that I follow tho......I added falz cos i love music and comedy. Who thinks falz should not be on any list of favorite comedians? #bashingisdefinitelyallowed |
You hustle hard to be heard, taken seriously, to be seen and then you are finally given the opportunity, what do you do? You are the youngest and least experienced, so what? Act the part, like you are as qualified and hardworking as the rest of them. The one thing that spoils this though is that, the youth in you tends to spoil the show; the childish/shy/unintentional inferiority complex creeps out. I am sharing some of the things you might be doing that can expose and make you look like you are not competent or adequate for the job. (I am learning from this too) Whether you are marketing, on a full time (9-5) job, a gig you got, a presentation, meeting, there are these little things that you should stop. Get them to take you seriously. Don’t Expose yourself (Its Packaging) There are some job titles or positions that are not meant to be publicized J. If you are to market your company products to a potential client and you introduce yourself as the ‘Junior Assistant Marketing/ Logistics Personnel’ you will be treated as such. Package yourself, ‘I work in the Marketing/ Logistics/Proposals/ Engineering/ Brand (whatever is suitable) Department’ or ‘I work with the manager or CEO’. You will be taken more seriously (don’t you work in that department? Its not a lie) Accept Responsibility It is ok to ask for assistance from people around you, but try to bring something to the table first. Accept responsibility of the position you occupy and make some decisions before you go all out to ask questions. Don’t always say ‘I have to ask my boss’ or ‘I don’t know’ or ‘It’s not my work’. Have an opinion, something to say. Control your Emotions You might be able to control them outwardly but when you start writing an email, words like ‘very’, ‘extremely’ will just expose you. Don’t send emails in a rush, calm down first or tell someone to screen it. (Remember to study your environment, you don’t want to also appear as a ‘know it all’) See more tips here and share yours too http://allavosiyatalk..com.ng/2015/09/show-you-are-competent-enough.html |

Did you know Quaker Oats is not just for breakfast? ![]() Quaker Oats for fast pain relief (this was the most fascinating), mix a small amount of oats in water and boil or microwave for about a minute, when it is cool a bit apply on the area with pain (especially for hands/ where you feel arthritis pain) Listerine (the mouthwash) can be used as a quick disinfectant on blisters and against toenail fungus. Check out these hacks I found and put together mostly for cleaning out your space. Cleaning does not always have to be pre-planned and doesn't have to be a hectic time. http://allavosiyatalk..com.ng/2015/08/easy-cleaning-hacks.html Enjoy the weekend.....share some other hacks you know with me ![]() |

Dbboy:So, u think Trump is d answer too? Republicans don't seem to have much......The Trump reputation is drowning the voice of the other candidates |
Is there anyone as surprised as I am with the pace at which Donald Trump is pulling much weight at the US presidency polls? I get stunned everyday listening to CNN, I see the way he seems to be winning and that there is a chance that he will become the next president of the United States. These are some of the lessons I am learning from the whole situation. Its Not Nigerian Politics but I think lessons we can learn 1. Social Media Power Do not ever!! under-estimate the power of this social media. It is powerful, you don't really need to be such a wonderful person. If you can find a way to expand your reach and get a lot of followers, nothing can be impossible. This might not go so well with you though especially if you want to grow your brand naturally. I have recently been on Instagram a bit anonymously trying to see how some stuff work and to an extent if you have no crazy stuff you don't get much attention. 2. We need positive out there As much as we might not want to be all social media crazy, if we keep leaving this thing to just random celebs, brands and all the negativity that comes with it we might just be creating a worse environment for the unborn children and even the younger ones we have around. The internet already is taking over and soon it will become all that will matter. You can get any kind of information from the 'almighty google' these days, without our permission what we see on the internet is influencing us. If you have something good to offer, please do not relent, put your stuff out there before another person does and teaches your children the wrong way of life. 3. Know what you want Have you heard that man speak, he has no control, no chill!! Forget that he is rich, he has so much certainty in his voice and he goes for what he wants. He thought in his head that he wants to be president and despite all the bad press around him including NBC dropping him from his show (celebrity apprentice), the man went ahead to announce and Voila!! he has gotten this far. 4. The world is changing Some years ago, it would have been unheard for someone like him to be able to even register as a candidate but look how far he has come. Though it might not be such a wonderful thing, you need to go along with it and be sure to find your way around without falling into the traps. One of the traps been that it might seem that there are no consequences of bad actions but they are definitely waiting around. Initially I said I was stunned at his success in the polls, maybe I am not actually in tune with what is happening :-) Some of the reasons why people want to vote for him ‘I Just Want to Watch the Chaos...’––“I'm a young guy who is immature, a bit antisocial, and with no plans for kids or a wife ever. At some level, I don’t really care how things go with America as long as it’s fun to watch.” Desperate People Cast Desperate Votes––“Wall Street, the banks, and even illegal immigrants seem to be prospering more than the average American citizen. We are desperate.” Trump is a Gamble Worth Taking––“I am of the belief that he is conceited and arrogant enough to avoid failing in front of the world at all cost.” http://allavosiyatalk..com.ng/2015/08/donald-trump-lessons.html |
Sometimes you try to search for useful content on Google and it keeps giving you random results, I found some tips you could try and enhance your Google search. Make the best of all Google has to offer. 1. First there is the Advanced Google Search that can give you the best search results with key words and file formats (pdf or excel) you need. When next you want to Google something up, type ‘Advanced Google Search’ this will give you better options to narrow down your research and save you some time. 2. Title Search If you are a looking for a particular title with an exact set of words use ‘allintitle’. For example, looking for posts with the title ‘Reactor Bed Design’ this is what you should type: allintext: Reactor Bed Design http://allavosiyatalk..com.ng/2015/08/your-google-search.html |

So there are all the memes about why the bearded man is classy and so on but biko not all beards are the same, we need to emphasize that these beards have to be soft and well groomed. For the purpose of this post, I will put the emphasis on SOFT. All that itchy and coarse feel on our faces when we hug you is not cool. #Beard gang seem to be here to stay and since we have to hug our guys who happen to be friends, brothers and even 'Mr bae' this post is mainly to appeal to them to help us ladies and keep 'em soft (we are afraid of break outs, any small thing triggers it) A well groomed man will never get out of style, I think if you have to keep those beards you should take good care of them properly. There are lots of guys out there that have given tips on keeping them soft including our very own Noble Igwe, check them out. I will just make this short list cos I don't know much about them, I just think the coarse beards are not nice. 1. Wash them Your regular body soap will do too. Wash with warm water and when you do this the other products you use will work better as your pores become open to them. 2. Moisturize Go in search of nice products. There are beard conditioners, moisturizers and oils. Use the conditioners after washing and rinse off. After this, rub in beard oil (you can also use coconut oil or baby oil) and comb the hair. 3. Night cap Before you sleep, apply a beard balm and like I have read it prevents split ends and the knots. You are keeping the beards, don't complain about all the fuss and care you have to make just ensure its soft and not unkempt. I am sure there are products if you search for them, check this one for a good beard oil (http://www.niwibi.com/product/?id=444174213) or yea there is the Beard Gang 9ja platform for all things beard I just found out (http://www.beardgang.com.ng/collections/all) or contact Avosiya. |
Coarse and unkempt beards are not cool. You don't want to turn people off with the way your beards feel, it itches. 1. Wash 2. Moisturize 3. Oil Check out details and where you can get products on my blog: allavosiyatalk..com |

Nice, I also made a list of some nice African destinations on my blog also (allavosiyatalk..com) and thinking about one of them. Everyone seems to be raving about Zanzibar and the pics I have seen are really nice. |
