TokyoBulls:
Do you own a 2008 (or newer) car in good working condition in Lagos or Abuja and are looking to earn up to N100,000 per week by putting your car on Uber platform? The same car that currently gulps your money and is easily taunted as a liability can become an asset. You can drive the car yourself, hire your own driver or use one of our hired well trained and professional drivers.

Are you a current driver with a valid driver’s license, Lagos State Driver’s Institute license, excellent customer service and a good knowledge of Lagos and/or Abuja? Are you currently employed but possess these qualities and want to earn more? You can earn up to N120,000 monthly by becoming one of our private Uber drivers. Great thing is you decide your working conditions.

Interested persons can send emails to UberLagosSpectre@gmail.com and UberLagosSpectre@yahoo.com. Kindly share broadly. Thanks

Pls clarify, is Uber in Abuja? I would need more details as I am interested, provide details. Thank you
I did not find Abuja on their website.

Business / Re: How To Make Money Online Doing A Simple Task by misayada: 12:07pm On Jan 28, 2016
Thanks for the introduction to this franca but just to clarify and not be a 'debbydowner' what I know about captcha is that it helps facebook and gmail filter out spammers. Is this a legit biz to do? as per if I decide to employ people just filling in these captcha forms, I know its diff from the software spams since its a human doing solving the captchas but I just want to be sure I understand it fully that I am not contributing to the 'spam' smiley
Thank you

francababy:
How much can I earn, with Online Captcha Entry?

Online Captcha Entry sites pay per 1,000 solved Captcha. And they pay between $0.45 and $2. So when you solve 1,000 Captchas, you make this amount. Quite a lot you have to do. Anyway, it works. Let's do some math

On average, complete 2 Captchas in 15 seconds, it means you complete 8 Captchas in 1 minute.
In 1 hour, you will complete 8 x 60 = 480 Captchas
480 x 8 hours = Approx 4,000 Captchas. This could earn you up to $8 per day.

In 30 days, this is $240.

Not much but still reasonable.

Jokes Etc / Men Are Not Scarce, Husbands Are by misayada: 8:27pm On Jan 27, 2016
We heard Eritrea is having problems with their male to female ratio, is it that bad really?
See them Yoruba boys landed in Eritrea sharply......LOL

Its just that its funny, if not personally I have found them to be a good breed of men (maybe I have not just met the 'conc' ones☺)

On a serious note though: The wonders of God's creation are perfect, he has made everything good in his eyes. If you don't find it in natural form, he created we humans with special intelligence to come up with designs and inventions for that. We are still the ones that create the more problems for ourselves when we go against the plan.

Jobs/Vacancies / Should You Use Word Or PDF? by misayada: 11:34am On Nov 26, 2015
It will depend on what you want the recipient to do with your document:

MS-Word
This format readily makes your document editable, therefore it is best for this to be used when editing is necessary. It could be that you are sharing information with someone and would need their input; for this reason Word is preferable.

However, for resumes being placed on job boards or with an agent/recruiter this format in Word should be preferable as a tracking system is commonly used to 'fish out' relevant files. Always ask for what format is best to submit especially for resumes and if either is preferred it would be best to preserve your arrangement with PDF.

PDF
In the case no form of editing is necessary, the PDF format of your document should be preferable. When documents are sent in this form, you can be assured that all your modifications and settings (font, arrangement, style) can be preserved over different computers, locations and software.

With this reason, PDF should also be preferred for submission of class assignments, project works and the likes.

You also get to avoid battling with printer settings when your convert to PDF

P.S: Avoiding using trial versions that could leave signs/marks on your document.

Religion / Purity Not Just Virginity by misayada: 3:41pm On Oct 31, 2015
I wrote a post on this topic recently after I saw a picture of someone being given a certificate of virginity on her wedding and I have decided to share my thoughts cos I just realized that most of us including me tend to forget that the issue of purity is what we need to focus on more.

The way we take the issue of staying away from sex till you are married looks to be more of an ethics or cultural thing cos as a Christian what we need to remind ourselves of is that sex before marriage is sin and that what God has really called us to is Purity not just Virginity.

Maybe its our Nigerian culture and the societal pressure (church, friends or relations), cos that virginity that we carry on our head is mostly personal/ for your parents/ future spouse/ relations/ friends.
As far as I know, having sex can be easy to abstain from but the hard part is staying pure which encompasses much more than we talk about.

Food / See How Your Skin Has Been Snitching On You by misayada: 12:38pm On Oct 24, 2015
Lack of vitamins C, D, E, K and a host of them will have evidence on your skin when you don't include them in your diet or take the supplements and you know this can ‘spoil your market’ wink

Diet plays a big role in our appearance, most of the expensive supplements we get can easily be gotten naturally. (Only problem is that we want 'sharpsharp'.
All skin conditions can be linked to a vitamin deficiency, see some of them and more on the blog (link at the bottom)

What Vitamin(s) you are lacking
Acne (Pimples)
A, C, E, B2, Niacin, Biotin, Zinc
Prickly Heat Rash
Asides the obvious heat if this is persistent, you might be lacking Vitamin C
Dry Skin
A, C, EFA
Oily Skin, White heads
B2
Scaly Eczema
B2, Good fats
Stretch marks
E, B6, Zinc

This does not totally replace seeing a professional though, if you notice a more serious or persistent condition on your skin.

What other skin conditions will you want to find more info about?

Foods/Vegetables and Fruits for your vitamins

Vitamins
Foods/Fruits/Vegetables
A
Eggs, Shrimp, Mangoes, Sweet potatoes, Carrots, Leafy Vegetables (spinach, ugu leaves, green)
B2 (Riboflavin)
Asparagus, Almonds, Grains, Liver, Kellogg’s All Bran Flakes J , Milk, Yogurt
B6
Meat, Fish, Chicken, Avocado, Bananas, Watermelon, Potatoes, Carrots, Liver
B12
Chicken, Eggs, Fish, Tuna, Liver, Soybeans, Cooked clams

This is the most importnat thing you should consider tho:
God is the one that ordained marriage and in my opinion if u are not in a relationship first with that God then marriage is not worth it (a waste of time and effort) cos it can never work talk less of being enjoyed without the same God. The fact that you have to wait to get married before having sex is not the end of the world, it is going to be worth the wait. Sex in marriage is still going to be whatever you want it to be. (Chill and just see what I mean smiley

I know marriage can be deemed as boring for some after a while and the thought of it been the most exciting time for sex can be hilarious but there is so much more in marriage. If you love each other, there is no stopping you......Don't let the thought of children, bills, birth control and some other responsibilities fizzle all the excitement way.

Constant Upgrades
All the time you both have to get better is available, you are bound to be together for the rest of your life!! Imagine having to make much better improvements/upgrades to your system/phone every day! All the benefits you get to enjoy!! (Not talking 'Fifty Shades' kinda upgrade though....no judging if that's your thing though wink

The True Nature of Sex
My Dad says its the best feeling in the world, no body should tell you other wise; why not enjoy it with your own soul mate/your spouse/your best friend. It’s only in marriage that you can both enjoy the more than physical nature of sex. Sex is much more than your bodies, it’s an intimacy between two human beings (body and soul), what better way to enjoy this than in marriage.

Health / Being Positive Is Not Enough: Breast Cancer Awareness by misayada: 1:20pm On Oct 15, 2015
It’s the first time I have had to actually think about it, before now I just discard the thought and tell myself it’s not possible “I can’t have cancer naa”. Positive confessions and mindsets are important but knowledge is power, going for an examination or doing a self test can also uncover some things that you were not aware of. We need to take action and do this regularly, it’s easy to get carried away but the evidence is all around us with survivors sharing their stories. ACT NOW!! Being unchalant is not cute either.

Meet Akua, a breast cancer survivor with a smile that speaks of her heart and scars that speak of her strength- Peniel Enchill (Picture below)

8. Reduce your exposure to radiation especially X-rays, seek for alternatives first
9. Some contraceptive pills expose a person to the risk of breast cancer
10. Breastfeeding is linked to the reduction of the risk of breast cancer both for the mother and the child been breastfed.
11. Hormonal Replacement Therapy (HRT) used during menopause has been linked to the risk of breast cancer, this should be taken with expert prescription/guidance.

Take advantage of this month of October and find a center near you..........#ChooseHealth

Religion / Ecclesiastics Says Its All Smoke by misayada: 2:30pm On Oct 11, 2015
I stumbled upon the book of Ecclesiastics and read through using the Message version (it is so real, giving it to you straight up)

The book summed all of life's cares, worries, work and all as smoke. The rich, wise, poor, foolish will end up in the same place like we were all the same. So, if all we are really hustling for is in this world, then just relax and make the most of your present situation. Do your best to prepare for what you need tomorrow (if its within your means, just do it)

This is my summary of the book of Ecclesiastics, its a summary of life and how we should not put so much into it. It can easily be taken the wrong way but just read through and see what I mean.

1. Pray always
Not necessarily to ask or to complain or to even say thank you but really its about talking to God. Say what is on your mind

2. Read the bible
There is no routine to this, just take a chapter or verse and read something new everyday. Devotionals help.

3. Keep your heart with all diligence
Watch what goes through your mind; resentment, hate, complains, lust, immoral thoughts, anger stay away from these.

4. Have a partner/a friend/ a buddy/ your personal person/ the Christina to your Meredith
It is better than going alone. Share the work, the fears, dumb moments; Share the wealth, the joy, the words of wisdom, the encouragement

I have seen one on jumia, green concealer.......so I think they are available in Nigeria. Skin redness is common. Anyone else know where to get?
Fashion / Use The Right Concealer Color by misayada: 10:40am On Oct 10, 2015
Did you know that concealers come in different colors? ( I just found out) and they are based on the specific color of blemish you are trying to hide depending on your skin tone though....Concealers are best after foundation to avoid dispersing the concealer from the spot you intend to cover.

Using the color wheel might be a bit confusing but the use of concealer has an art to it and this explains it to an extent.

Green Concealers
These are meant for red blemishes (like the redness caused by breakouts) or just some red spot you have to hide (maybe from sunburn or some reaction). This will give a good base for the foundation you want to use.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Youths Are Not Prepared For Leadership by misayada: 8:42pm On Oct 07, 2015
Not all youths are the same....there are responsible ones out there. If we keep saying youths are not ready and you are not even giving them the chance, Who will lead when the older ones are gone? Let Nigeria make a concrete plan to include the youths and start somewhere instead of us reiterating the problem all the time.

You ask a man what is the way forward, this Nigeria, they will start telling how much they know about the history and causes of our problems. We need to leave the past behind and move forward abeg.....Nigerians are not prepared (they start expanding the problem) what then do you do about it (ramblings)

Youths are more creative but yet more vulnerable in the society. If we are not given a chance now, how do we get to lead when we are in our 40s?

Youths represent a greater part of our population now, if we are not involved how do our interests get effective attention and consideration?

Politics / IS A MAN IN HIS 40s STILL A YOUTH? by misayada: 8:30pm On Oct 07, 2015
Please how true is this, a man in his 40s in Nigeria is still being considered a youth?

It is better to say that the youths might be inexperienced especially for ministerial post than to say we have men less than 50 among them and so that is the inclusion of youths. I heard over the radio that we have 5 between 40-50 and so those are the youths and then another said the youth age bracket is (18-42)..... In my opinion, above 38 should not be considered a Youth.

I think the minimum age for this is 30 in Nigeria?

Youths are more creative but yet more vulnerable in the society. If we are not given a chance now, how do we get to lead when we are in our 40s?
