The lights you have on has nothing to do with your vehicle's brain-box being faulty. The brain-box is functioning well, that's why its relaying those errors.

The airbag light can be due to a bad airbag sensor, or the vehicle might have been involved in an accident and airbag deployed (probably before you bought the vehicle). There are tools for erasing airbag lights - but I would suggest you have it scanned and if there really is no problems, have it erased.

The check engine light can be due to a lot of factors, ranging from irrelevant fault codes to major engine errors. I will suggest you have your vehicle scanned with a diagnostic tool to know exactly what it is.

The highlighted portion is true. But I have had it scanned by my mechanic (rewirer) and he said he was told its nothing and the car is in good condition. They have corrected the code (which resets whenever the battery & plugs are removed wrongly) twice.

so in that case, i would just have the airbag light erased and i'll forever ignore the 'Check Engine' Light.

I need to make enquiries from the gurus pls.
My car's 'Check Engine' & ' Airbag' light is always on and has been for a long time.
My car has been scanned many times as well and i was told to get a new brain box (or Toks) for the 'Check Engine' light to be permanently off. The car is doing very well except for the light on, so my questions are :

1) Can the Brain box be repaired ?
2) Is the Light on damaging any component inside the car ??

Cost of Good Engine is between 220K & 250K (max), Shocks - 20K ( Toks - 10K), headlamp - 20K (Toks)

That is the standard price for a toks VW Engine but am not sure if the said shaft or other problems cannot be repaired. If you have to buy a toks Engine, you should get a reliable mechanic and take a trip to Owode Onirin along Ikorodu Road in Lag. You should be able to get a good one and at a cheaper price but be prepared for 200K - 250K.

Let the more knowledgeable members chip in their advice before you make your move. am not sure if your engine is already a complete write-off.

I dont think you need a SPECIAL VW workshop.
Any workshop can do that if its ONLY oil changing.

I change mine with my Non VW Mecho.

Ripe Paw-paw oo.
Its scientifically proven to contain some strong chemicals (ave forgotten where i got that from sha).

I can tell you a VERY VERY SURE prevention.

A handful of paw-paw seeds twice daily for two days.
just peel your paw-paw and scoop the seeds (dont let it be too much ) with your hand or a full spoon and chew into paste(this was the hardest part for me), then swallow it. Take it in the morning and the evening for just 2 days. It WILL prevent the malaria for 6-9 months or even more.

I read it about 15yrs ago and it's been working since(though i stopped cos hardly get Malaria these days).

I assure you, it works like magic.

have experienced same thing with my car like 4-6 wks ago but fixing the leak and changing the Oil Pump (though i had to return the changed one since i was not satisfied with the output after 1 week) did the trick cos it got very bad i almost had an accident at the Gerald/Osbourne - Ikoyi turning when my steering got STIFF.

I dont wanna experience it again.
