Family / Re: How Do You Cope With The Dirty Water At Lekki by missexcel01(f): 3:26pm On Dec 16, 2018
I am surprised the water in your place is this dirty.

I stay in Ajah and the water we pump is never dirty.

The only problem we have is spirogyra in the water of which my dad invites a plumber once in a while to wash the tank. And we additionally use a filter.

My advice is you get an expert to treat the water independent of your landlord and when your rent is almost due, you search for another apartment with clean water.

Also, avoid using such water to wash your clothes or any other thing.

Besides, the last time I saw water looking like this was when I was still a border in Badore. All wells except one (mirinda well) had this colour. We only used water from this well to flush toilets, wash toilets and do our morning duties.

Besides, didn't you check for water neatness and availability before renting the apartment? [/quote

You are definitely a badorian. Miranda well was later closed down. It sometimes had oil in it. Nice to meet another badorian here.
Family / Re: He Wants To Leave His One Year Old Marriage & Wife Behind To Travel To Europe by missexcel01(f): 3:22pm On Jul 10, 2016
His decision to travel isn't the problem, but taking such an action without the full support of his wife and family is where the problem lies.

Until Muslims worldwide confront head on radical Islamists, Islam wd always be synonymous to violence.
So true, I have always wondered why nigerian muslims have not spoken out iN ONE VOICE against boko haram. Until they all come out(both followers and clerics) and condem this terrorists, no muslim should say islam doesn't support violence.

plendil:
All these posters claiming work pressure being responsible for the poor behaviour, what about the guys? Are they not under pressure as well?

There is one guy at GTB Abakaliki, I beleive it Chuka or so. Meeeen, this guy is just too much. Even when irate temperamental customers start raking, you can never see him losing his cool. Compare with his counterpart, that yellow pawpaw and the slim babe wey dey always frown. embarassed

The same thing at Diamond bank, also in Abakaliki. Both their CS are males and they are simply superb. During the heat of the BVN registration when the queue would extend almost outside the bank, you still them apologising for taking your time, asking if you dont mind waiting, if you're tired, etc.

There must be something about those females. . . tongue

Wow! This world is really small. I know the chuka guy and the other ladies. Used gtb for federal allawee then whilst serving in abalakiki. I remember we had issus then with acc opening to hasten our registration and despite our ranting the guy keep his cool. Lol. The other ladies are ok sha but not friendly at all.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: The Pains Of The Unemployed by missexcel01(f): 5:30pm On May 09, 2015
2013 was the the worst year of my life. My department did not send our names on time and so we had to wait for a whole one year before we could go for service. I searched and searched for something to do to no avail. During service I made sure I garnered job experience. I can however say that God played a major role in my success story. He taught me where to fish so I don't waste all night fishng in barren waters. It was the G factor coupled with my determnation not to stay one day at home after nysc. Trust me that was exactly what happened!

Iiicolor=#770077][/its so funny to see that a full grown Woman who should be praying for her own future home would seek to cause unrest in that of another. It really doesn't matter ifthe wife is at fault or not. As a good host she asked her what the problem was and she said nothing. I'm sure if she had said what the problem was, your sister would have apologised
