People have been paying with Nigerian cards so go ahead and try. Someone helped me pay with a USA card, I didn't use a naija card. People on this thread have done it, so try too.

So this bathing issue is a general thing!!! My grandmother takes her bath every morning and she is in her 90's but the one I'm with hates bathing. Plus they will say something now and then won't remember they were the same persons that said that same thing. That thing causes confusion and quarrels. It takes the grace of God to live with old people for a long time. No wonder the westerners have old people's homes.

Old age comes with a lot of problems and living with old people is really difficult. Dementia, Alzheimer disease, all kinds of sickness, slowness. That's why I wonder how all these Nigerians that are doing care giver work in UK cope? Living with an old person is like having a child. There is no restriction, you can check as many times as you want. That was how I was able to get a date without joining any date search group. I just opened it on my phone and was checking nearly every 30 minutes.

I was notified via email for the approval. But when I applied, no notification. You just have to wait. I got a closer date but it took some time ( for Lagos).

I didn't even receive a notification that I've submitted the request. I only noticed "Already request is pending" as indicated on the right side of the attached screenshot when attempted to resubmit it.

I printed and signed mine but it isn't compulsory. I just wrote two lines stating the reason for my request, no need for long note.

Clicking on reschedule doesn't take away your current date, it's only when you post it and click on confirm that it will change. You have 5 chances to reschedule after your emergency request has been approved.

A.How do I continue to check for available near date after I have already scheduled a date. I navigated to my appointment page and I saw RESCHEDULE AND CANCEL. I don't want to mess anything up, pls if I click on the reschedule will it automatically take way the current scheduled date I have or it will give me access to view other available dates ?

B. I saw 5 reschedules available, does it mean I can reschedule up to 5 times?

Just go to create emergency request, click on it and fill the information. I just told them I need a closer date because my school resumes in August, then I uploaded my i20. It was approved the next day.
The problem now is, there are still no dates for Lagos. Only Abuja has dates for May. The whole thing is tiring.

Don't rely on notifications because notifications might delay to deliver or might not even sent as a result of system error or glitches.

After 24hrs of requesting for the expedited appointment always login to your profile (on AVITS) intermittently and click on " Reschedule Appointment"
It will take you to nearest date if your expedited appointment has been granted. 👍

I applied for expedited appointment date. I followed the steps and clicked on submit. I didn't get any notification or email neither can I see the request on my dashboard. Is this normal?

Their website is currently undergoing maintenance, that might be why. Please use card to pay, it's much better and you can avoid that pre-approval delay.

Thank you, I did not generate any receipts before now, when this present one had issues I cancelled my application totally and started new one and generated another one today again, went to same bank with it and it showed the same issue showing same date printed and same date as expiration, while I was in the bank 3 more persons came in with the same issue, so the bank told us it’s probably a network issue from the embassy end, that until they resolve the issue it won’t work.
So what I intend doing is reaching out to the embassy support team for clarification.

There are currently dates for June 2025 in Abuja.
