How can you just believe everything your wife tells you just like that knowing fully well she isn't the girls mother. I have a step mother too so I understand your daughters situation. There is a reason she comes home late, probably to avoid staying with your wife. I used to do it too. This is why children should not be left with men, they are clueless and not protective.

I will never advice my worst enemy to work in a school except the ones that pay well on the island (Green springs, Corona, etc). For the mainland, Oakwood, Pampers, Grace high school, ECT. Why should anyone be earning 30k in this country while the children in nursery school pay almost 200k as school fees. If you want to waste your youth, then work in a school. I worked in a school for 6 months and resigned. I refused to waste my youth and not even gain any experience. I stayed at home for almost a year before I got a job that put me on a career path.

It is better to sell tomatoes in front of your house than to work in a low paying private school. Some people think it gives mothers time for their children, that is a big lie. Private schools don't release their teachers until 4pm. You go to work from 7am to 4pm everyday just to earn 30k that can't even buy your toiletries and foodstuffs. All teachers should start thinking business and dump that profession. By the time nobody is applying for teaching jobs, the school owners will will be forced to pay teachers well. Teaching is a difficult job yet the least rewarded in this country.

With 330 in GRE, you should be able to get scholarship/funding plus Graduate Assistantship. Please apply to other schools, don't limit yourself to only one school and end up in debt.

Regarding my last question, I will like to give a little brief about my journey so far....

I graduated in 2015 (Forest Resources Management), completed NYSC in 2017, worked as a plantation manager between then and January 2021. Travelled to Ghana for a conference in April 2021 and entered UAE from there based on work levels. While working there, I met my current employer via an online seminar where I was a speaker. we got talking and he told me about the idea of establishing a rubber estate in Osun state. I worked remotely with his staff by organising teachings online every week for 1 hour (on my off days). We were able to establish a nursery and budding wood garden in 2021. I also contributed to Osun state establishing 2 million rubber trees through NARPPMAN even while I was working and living in UAE. Fast forward to 2023, I knew I wanted to go for my graduate program so I was prepared to write GRE, wrote that in April when I got back to Nigeria and scored 330 (162 in verbal reasoning, 168 in Quantitative reasoning and 4.5 in analytical writing). Meanwhile, I already took up a position as the head of forestry department with my employer I met online in 2021.

I applied to Michigan Technological University only (it was recommended by our consultant in Germany as he had taken some online certificate courses with the University and vouched for the high level of lecture delivery) for fall 2024. I have gotten admission AND SECURED AN EDUCATIONAL LOAN THROUGH MPOWER FINANCE FOR MY STUDIES.

Going forward, what are my chances at the Visa interview? I have no other source of funding except MPOWER, I am married, my wife isn't going with me as I am coming back to resume my role as head of forestry with my current employer (this time, I will be handling international operations...I have a letter of introduction to that effect from my chairman). Let me also add that the rubber estate project has started with establishment of 10,000 hectares of Hevea brasliensis. we project going into full production of rubber and its by products in the first quarter of 2027.

This was in the past. Now schools request that you drop the contacts of your recommenders & they will contact them directly for the letters. Even the recommendation letters I was given are not useful.

Ok, thank you. I'm not really good at maths that is why I need a tutorial center. MOD education in surulere said it's 100k for 4 weekends. The time feels very short especially for that amount that's why I'm asking questions.

So, for my GRE, it was completely self-study. The truth is that studying for the exam requires time—so much time—and also depends on how good you were in quantitative and verbal before now. Therefore, time is dependent on so many factors by 3 months, I think.

Please don't listen to all these people telling you he is her sugar daddy. It is a known fact that when once a lady gets married, even her family members won't help her again. They will tell you your husband is supposed to take care of you, that is why it is easier for single ladies to achieve their dreams than the married ones. All my friends that had big plans and got married are now stuck here taking care of children, no financial or career help from their families again.

You should discuss this with her not us. If the person won't help again because she has gotten married, then let her relocate first. You guys can then get married immediately she has settled in the new country.

Please for those who wrote GRE, is one month lecture enough to prepare? I contacted a tutorial center in surulere, they said it's 100k & lectures is for only 4 weekends. Why don't you go for a school that you can attend lectures on Saturdays and Sundays. That's the ideal thing to do with regards to part time studies. No private firm will give you a day off for studies, you can only do that in the civil service.

False. You can get admission to a course that is in line with your work experience. It doesn't affect your visa. Abeg ignore that person.

Please, I need help. I'm pretty confused right now. I attended a mock interview and the information I got is not encouraging at all.
So, I have my first degree in Business Administration and I have been working as a non-academic staff in a high institution for about seven years now.
I applied for Msc Higher Education Administration in about three schools, Student Affairs Administration in one school and Postsecondary school administration and student affairs in another school. I'm optimistic that I will get at least admission with partial funding in one these schools.
The issue is here is that, I was informed by the guys who anchored the mock interview that I should not go to the embassy with an admission that is not related to my first degree. He added that the course I applied for is not even useful in my home country.He advised that I should apply for MBA or something close my first degree. I really don't know what to do at this point please

Nigerians want to school abroad but won't even invest hours to carry out research. Always want to be spoon fed, una think say studying abroad is the same with Nigeria.

Kindly ask this question on Google, the answer is there. Schooling abroad requires one to be able to carry out research independently.

what went wrong here? Cuz I have analysed it, is my job not enough as socio economy tie? Must I say that I will be heading back to my Home country instead my job after my study?

Or Did I talk too much? Cuz I see other guys with F1 that got interviewd with other VOs hardly say anything but got approved.

You don't need nysc for masters or relocation. It is useless both in and outside Nigeria.
