Please don't listen to all these people telling you he is her sugar daddy. It is a known fact that when once a lady gets married, even her family members won't help her again. They will tell you your husband is supposed to take care of you, that is why it is easier for single ladies to achieve their dreams than the married ones. All my friends that had big plans and got married are now stuck here taking care of children, no financial or career help from their families again.

You should discuss this with her not us. If the person won't help again because she has gotten married, then let her relocate first. You guys can then get married immediately she has settled in the new country.

Please can anyone recommend a good GRE tutorial center around surulere, Isolo and Yaba. The ones you have attended and passed the exam through their coaching. Also how many weeks or weekends did the tutorials last for.

Please for those who wrote GRE, is one month lecture enough to prepare? I contacted a tutorial center in surulere, they said it's 100k & lectures is for only 4 weekends. It looks to short to learn anything. Please those that used a tutorial center, how long did your lectures last? I'm not too good in mathematics so I need all the help I can get. Or if there are any suggestions for good tutorial centers on Lagos mainland (tested & used by anyone here), I will appreciate it. Thanks.

Why don't you go for a school that you can attend lectures on Saturdays and Sundays. That's the ideal thing to do with regards to part time studies. No private firm will give you a day off for studies, you can only do that in the civil service.

False. You can get admission to a course that is in line with your work experience. It doesn't affect your visa. Abeg ignore that person.

Please, I need help. I'm pretty confused right now. I attended a mock interview and the information I got is not encouraging at all.
So, I have my first degree in Business Administration and I have been working as a non-academic staff in a high institution for about seven years now.
I applied for Msc Higher Education Administration in about three schools, Student Affairs Administration in one school and Postsecondary school administration and student affairs in another school. I'm optimistic that I will get at least admission with partial funding in one these schools.
The issue is here is that, I was informed by the guys who anchored the mock interview that I should not go to the embassy with an admission that is not related to my first degree. He added that the course I applied for is not even useful in my home country.He advised that I should apply for MBA or something close my first degree. I really don't know what to do at this point please

Nigerians want to school abroad but won't even invest hours to carry out research. Always want to be spoon fed, una think say studying abroad is the same with Nigeria.

Kindly ask this question on Google, the answer is there. Schooling abroad requires one to be able to carry out research independently.

what went wrong here? Cuz I have analysed it, is my job not enough as socio economy tie? Must I say that I will be heading back to my Home country instead my job after my study?

Or Did I talk too much? Cuz I see other guys with F1 that got interviewd with other VOs hardly say anything but got approved.

You don't need nysc for masters or relocation. It is useless both in and outside Nigeria.

**** I am answering your question based on personal research (which is open for correction), but i hope they will not come and beat me up because none of them has been able to give any answer here... They are waiting for the 1st answer 😄


1. Whether or not you can live off your Graduate Assistant stipends depends on where your program is based because each state varies regarding to costs of living, like rent and gas prices.

2. It also depends on how shady your program is and the extent to which your Graduate Assistantship is being short-changed (It is supposed to be enough for you without additional jobs) because the inner circle usually cornered some portions of International Student's stipends .

3. A former international student in the United States wrote this on a web :.

***** In my case, my monthly expenses were:

$1200 - total paycheck
$800 - rent
Remaining $400 - utilities, internet, car insurance, food, gas, misc items (ex. The school tried to charge me for some items, like signing up for classes at the gym).

I also was sending money back home during the time I was a student-employee there, ($500), so I was spending lot of money.

**** ACCORDING TO THE NARRATION OF THE ABOVE EX STUDENT , His or her $1,200 was enough but his or her other lifestyles is larger . He or she also makes extra $500 as a Student-Employee .

Lol, when did human beings start marking digital exams. Dragnet is in charge of most CBT exams in Nigeria and the exams are objective test so that her talk has k leg. Hotel indeed .

Human Resources is a better option, it is also related to mass comm. Or better still get a job first and find out what you enjoy doing in your organization then you can take professional course in it & build your career in that line. Moving from mass comm to accounting is like moving from English language to medicine, they are unrelated and it is a very turbulent route with no job guarantee.

Yes, the exam is CBT. I don't have past questions for intermediate 1, I started from intermediate 2. Please join a study center, the exam is not for the faint hearted. I won't advice you to attempt it on your own. Also when you join a study center, you will meet others there so getting the past questions will be very easy. You can download the study pack from the website after paying your exam fees.
