The horrible stories I have been reading while on incognito mode has been making me laugh so hard.

Many of you are still yet to understand why Lagos state is the only state in the world their welcoming sign board is; "THIS IS LAGOS." Other states I visited are usually "Welcome to Accra, Welcome to Doha, Welcome to Legon, Welcome to Abuja, Welcome To Addis Ababa, Welcome to Onitsha, Welcome To Asaba". But only Lagos is the state I have seen "This is Lagos".

From the moment I stepped foot into Lagos the first time 20 years ago, I have always understood that sign as; "This is Lagos. Shine your eyes"

Aside driving people from point A to B, how do you guys manage to develop an inter-personal relationship with total strangers suddenly?

Only on this thread have I read stories of drivers following riders home to sleep in their houses due to offline contracts. For how much kwanu?

I also saw one that said that the rider was "so good" that he had to tell her not to pay? All the way from Command Ipaja to Sangatedo?" undecided undecided undecided Can you imagine? grin grin grin All these Lekki girls with juju buried deep in their epidermis... I hail una jazz man cheesy cheesy cheesy

The Twitter guy scam is similar to what nearly played out on our own luxurydriver here. He met one who might have promised him mansions in the sky grin grin grin. But it ended in premium tears.

It was on same Twitter that I read where one driver narrated how he was so hungry on a particular day that his rider took him home and offered him Okro Soup and Semovita. Can you imagine? Una get mind for this world oo. This one will just be licking away his destiny without knowing.

Scroll up a little and see one already telling humongous stories of how his current client "is shedding tears of joy" after listening to old blues. Oga DJ jimmy jatt abi neptune, I hail oo. You even had the morale to be licking Yoghurt the so called woman that looked Frenchie offered you? You are licking Frenchie Yoghurt just laidat?... Chai grin grin grin

ina alacha Yoghurt abi? Jisie Ike. wink wink

Thats how stories that end in premium tears begins.... Lets be watching

The lion himself. Indaboski Pahooze... grin

Go to the nearest operation centre near you. I chose Adekunle Fajuyi way because it was a stone throw to my crib, moreover, a trip from Aguda surulere brought me to Isaac Jones around 12pm, so i decided to check in and sign up.
The place is very rowdy and there's a construction work going on around the area, so its either you park your car at home or be prepare to visit a car wash immediately you're done.
I have not been activated though. Their server was down before i left there , may be because Drivers don dey sign up plenty .
Lol. Thanks

Late of 1 month or a few days?

My best driver paid today (even before uber and Taxify alert) the others will pay tomorrow. Late payment is Thursday and there's a penalty attached plus you have to start counting again from 0 - 8 weeks for free 1 week payment bonus.
Body no be firewood. The good news is that I am now my own boss. It wasn’t easy for me at all then “inexperience” but am a lion d wheels. now smiley

Cars can be fixed, can Bad drivers be fixed?
Sure! My previous partner sacked and disgraced me. I was labeled a bad driver. I was very inexperienced, I think 5 months or so, But now am far better than before, earning big like 100k atleast in week and good rating of 4.90 average weekly. Activity score of 97.5% on Taxify. So called bad drivers can fixed. Except those who are not bleeping willing to improve.

The ideal way is for drivers to pay rental on Day 1 of the week. And renew subsequently.

But most e-hailing cars are dead and nonsense.

For instance a driver pays rental and few days later, car develops an issue, its his loss..

All these car owners shouting #assurance, don't have #assured cars. Yes I said it. Your cars are dead. Quote me.

I will pay rental on day1 and renew subsequently for any tokunbo car in pristine condition.

But a Nigerian used car, previously driven on Uber/taxify, I will pass over.

Driver-partners, ensure to test the car like u are buying a car, before you pay #assurance.

Ask them why the previous driver dropped the car, even request for the ex-drivers number to ascertain what you are jumping into.

Most of these car-owners are liars. Quote me.

In, all, there are very few good men "car-owners, and partner-drivers alike"

P.S, I have ZERO tolerance for driver default.

They can lie for Africa and they want to solve their ancestral problems from d weekly rental... grin

Good ppl in the house pls what’s your take on this. I took a rider this morning for cash trip and she did transfer but I’m yet to get d alert.1400naira trip on Uber. After like 3hours I called her to confirm n she sent me screenshot of her debit but am yet to get alert since 8:50am. I’ve taken 2 other riders that did transfer and got their alert.Am I being scammed or what? Should I tell Uber? Note that she sent me a screenshot of her debit and I’ve checked my GTBank online and no alert from her yet.
wait for 24hrs. Transfer should go within 24hrs. If u don’t get it, report it to Uber. They reimburse you. But it’s adivsable you have your bank app. Transfer comes to bank app before you get sms alert. Next time Incase of delays you login in your app, check your account balance before sms alert.

talking about being a boss, someone on this thread claimed to have been emancipated from the bonds of rental, and had bought his own vehicle, I was happy for the individual, and decided to donate 21,000 worth of synthetic engine oil to celebrate with him.

Driver and partners should find a way to communicate to Uber the importance of safety of drivers. Uber could be pressured to make safety of drivers a priority when there is a concerted effort of the parties involved. It better to start now. You don't want to wait until another driver or partner loses his or her life. Let's do it now! Make your concern known to Uber.

U on point !

Taxify has introduced destination trips. 3 destination trips daily as against uber's 2.... You can also now see where a rider is going from 10 pm to 2am

These guys mean business.
Thats to tell you that Taxify has safety of their drivers at heart. How can someone request for a trip in middle of the night, you can not see where he or she is heading to. Uber go soon do the same thing. Its not all about service and money, safety too matters

Remember that for the 5 years Jonathan ‘destroyed’ Nigeria

Fuel was ₦87
$1 was ₦150 (₦199 in 2015)
Lagos-Abuja air fare was ₦10,000

Nah d same strategy dem wan use campaign for 2019 election. 4 years in power, Nothing tangible to show dat Buharis government is doing well.
