sauceEEP: The video test under low light conditions was kinda flawed, I wonder why you had to use a low end smartphone to do the comparison cause judging from what I saw the video quality of the second phone was below par and I guess that's why you failed to name the device.
]]
It is actually one of the mid range phones like the InnJoo that is within the 20,000 - 30,000 price bracket. Hence the reason I didn't want to mention the name
sauceEEP: No time to check the video but you too fine....
but I wanted you to check the video so I can know your opinion, by the way, I will still do a written review, but I want to know if this video review is better than my old video review.
I am sorry for letting this come in late, but it is better late than never, right? Finally, I have dissected the InnJoo 2, of course, there are so many things I like and dislike about the device. So, join me as I review the InnJoo 2, who is excited? https://i63.tinypic.com/oq8xhu.jpg
In the video review, I talked about what I like and dislike about the InnJoo 2. It includes a camera test, multitasking and fingerprint test.
Also, nairalanders, please I want your opinion on the video, do you think I should continue in this style of video reviewing or I should stick to what I have been doing before now.
CzarChris: Great review. I'm going to recommend this for my cousin so she can attach it to her son, that boy can just literally disappear from plain sight. Or it can even double as a gf locator.
LMAOO @double as a gf locator. Mbok you are so funny!
The guys at GKChain – a US based tech startup sent me a very interesting device some weeks back and I had a field day testing out its functionalities. The name of the device is Gatekeeper and it wants you to abandon your old password ways without having to throw your passwords away – Gatekeeper will monitor your proximity and automatically lock your computer each time you leave your desk and unlocks when you return.
With this device, you don’t need to press any buttons or type any password, all you will need is the Gatekeeper and your presence – in Coldplay’s voice, Call it magic. The device also has a tracking device that will locate your device if it goes missing.
To see the device in action, just click on the video above and let me know what you think.
If you have been following twitter you'd know that this created an issue. Some people felt Huawei are being racist for not allowing Chinese staff resume with Non chinese staff. others felt Huawei wasn't giving them breaks. The picture looked wrong without me finding the info from a friend
2. The work time for Non-Chinese is the same as Chinese.. Have you seen a Chinese Man working before. They work like machines.
3. They said its not allowed to have a meal in the kitchen at work times ~ meaning you can go out and have your 1hour break lunch or whatever, without staying above that time.
Is there suppose to be an issue because I ain't seeing any?
Nigerians were castigating the Non-chinese staff yesterday on Twitter. It became a big issue
So I asked a friend who has been working there for some time now to verify these claims and she gave me a breakdown of what has been happening.
ISSUE ONE: THE OFFICIAL WORKING HOURS
According to her, Huawei held a survey where they made employees choose which working hours they'd prefer, the majority of Nigerians selected 8:00 am to 5 pm while the Chinese counterpart chose 8:30 to 5:30 pm. She claims Huawei did this to help deal with the traffic issues.
ISSUE TWO: DINING HOURS
Apparently, Huawei gives a 1-hour break in between work hours but some employees violate their break period hence the reason it was raised in the mail.
See a full mail addressed to all workers.
Dear colleagues,
The local canteen has been redecorated, it is delightful to see a more exquisite and cozy canteen back into use. But sorry to tell, recently we found some of the colleagues were still eating in canteen after 8:30am.
According to our Work Attendance and Clocking Regulation , working hours for non-Chinese staff start from 8:00am and end at 5:00pm. Taking the Nigerian traffic jam into consideration, the serving of breakfast will end at 9:00am on Monday and 8:30am on other working days.
There will be random attendance check in the morning, and employees who go against these rules will be asked to register the ID number as well as give reason of violation by HR colleagues. HR will check with employee's LM afterwards, and violation without appropriate reasons will lead to penalties accordingly.
Now that we have heard the other side of the story, what do you think?
Mayfrank: Lol... nice argument. But as a fan of ogbongeblog, geek.ng and misstechy. I have something to say
Jide is a very respected blogger. People trust his opinion on any tech issue. He's quite frequent with interacting with his audience and doesn't brag about his accomplishments. All Ogbonge blog has not really had that spark in a while now. People still adore Jide's efforts.
This is where misstechy comes in, she started blogging this February. although she knows a lot about tech gadgets, Bro Jide has more technical knowledge. She never studied any tech related courses unlike Jide who did NIIT. Naturally, as a girl Misstechy has gained quick attention from the audience. she isn't very interactive tho But people will still love a female tech blogger. She mainly attends events and unveils new gadgets.
Like I've tried contact three of them but only Jide and wale replied.
Now geek.ng is a classic blog. By the Don himself. It's like a mash up of misstechy and ogbonge blog. He just steady in the business. Loved by all. And very determined.
Although misstechy may be able to influence people, Jidetheblogger has their trust.
I rest my case
Hey MayFrank, I am so sorry for not replying. The thing is asides blogging, I also work as a digital strategist and creating campaigns take most of my time, but if you can send your questions to tobi.ayeni@ (that is my personal email addy) I'd reply as soon as I can.
jaybossYBNL: why didn't you bring this your link earlier or you thought I will not lay my hand on that link?
I don't understand what you are saying, I don't have any issue with what you said so far, the only issue I have is what you said and that is the reason I corrected you. This is Me saying I don't work for anyone but own my own thing and you are disputing, there is a difference between someone investing for a percentage and someone completely buying a business. I hope you have a good night rest.
jaybossYBNL: biased in what way? if you talk of income, Ogbongeblog makes more money than Misstechy...don't argue that with me.
Attending of events, Jide is not in Lagos but he always send somebody to rep him at events in Lagos.
Even at the Jumia tech bloggers event somebody was there for him, she collected the Xiaomi phone for him and at the innjoo phone launch on friday somebody was there too, he got his phone too.
Last year Jidetheblogger was the only naija blogger on top 3 in 2014 bloggers of the year award at SMAA which was sponsored by Sterling Bank.
Jide works with top Nigerian bloggers like Misspetite, Ladun Liadi and co.
And let me remind you, she is not the owner of that blog again, it has been bought so she now works for them but Jide owns everything on Ogbongeblog, you can compare misstechy blog to mobilitaria.com not ogbongeblog.
erm misstechy is still fully owned by tobi ayeni, I don;t know where you got that info from. thanks anyways. ciao
That is all for this short unboxing, I will like to know your opinion. Do you think it can compete with the Phantom 5?

The InnJoo 2 is a 5 inch device with a dragontrail glass, there is a WHOOPING 13MP camera with flash, you should also see the proximity sensor seated close to it and finally, the huge speaker placed in the center of it all
This is the part that changed the game for InnJoo, the InnJoo 2 has a fingerprint sensor that is rumored to be very fast (Robert claims it is faster than the iPhone, but we’d have to put that to test.) It also comes with a 13MP back camera with dual flash light. By the way, the back is non removable
