cyber5: Misstechy: I watched your Vlog ma'am and it was awesome. I love it when a lady in my own words is tech-aware and i hope my future wife will be techy just like you.
persius555: This babe sabi manage. 750 naira is $2, why complain. Great video anyway. Is that a selfie stick you are using?
Lol we gats manage in this recession. Meanwhile imagine paying $2 on an item that cost less than that. Fine right? But now multiply 2$ times the four items I wanted to get that is 8$ just on delivery. Haba?! Yes, I was holding a selfie stick at home, but used my hands in Computer village. I didn't want someone grabbing the stick there.
Yes, the P9 Lite is good, I love the cameras, the only thing that might not augur well with some people is the presence of the Hybrid SIM and its 2GB RAM.
ammyluv2002: Seriously, I admire you alot and i will keep saying it. I respect your hard work and courage. ......Keep it up dear & God will surely bless your hustle.
Aww thank you girlfriend and a big AMEN to that, I appreciate this comment a lot, God bless you too
In a bid to see how the Huawei P9 Lite's cameras fare, I created a vlog that documented my journey to Computer Village, Ikeja (The largest ICT accessory market in Nigeria). In the video, I tried to haggle for cheaper deals for the phone stands I use in my reviews;
missKiffy: Hello MissTechy, pls between the infinix hot note 2 and hot s, which is the higher version, have checked both specs and both seem to be higher than the other in some areas, which would you consider the higher version
The Hot S is definitely higher when it comes to camera and other fancy accessibilities like the Fingerprint sensor
OutOnBail: Nice review. Can you give an hint why people prefer samsung to HTC devices? HTC is generally sleek and the icons are beautiful, just wondering why Naija ppl hiss when they hear HTC.
Hi OutOnBail, nice question, I actually used the HTC M7 for about 2 years before it was stolen , so I know how good their devices are. But I think their problem has to do with brand perception. If you notice, HTC as a company is not heavy when it comes to advertising especially in Nigeria, meanwhile, Samsung spends heavily on advertising (Example is the use of Banky W for one of their campaigns). And whether we like it or not, no matter how good your products are, if you are not in people's faces, the product is as good as useless, that is my 2cents on it, though.
LaideOyebade: I am usually a guest on Nairaland, but I had to create a new account to say this:
I just watched your video and I must commend the great work you are doing, heard from a friend that you have no other hands helping you with this, so I really really doff my hat for you. You are an inspiration to other women. Keep doing what you are doing. YOU HAVE GOTTEN A LOYAL FAN IN ME!!
Laide.
Aww thank you so much Laide, people like you make this worthwhile. Thank you, feel like giving you a hug.
yasolan: U didn't test the finger print unlock for the Hot S and compare it to other phones with finger print unlock Better build and design quality though by the c9
I couldn't do that becuase the Camon C9 comes with an iris scanner not a finger print sensor. I felt it might be unfair pitting two different security components against each other. But I can tell you this, the Fingerprint scanner on the Hot S is really fast, efficient and way better than the Iris scanner on the C9.
You can check my review on misstechy dot com for more info on this.
Anyway, I pit the Tecno Camon C9 against the Infinix Hot S, if you have not read the review, you should. Remember that both devices have slightly similar specs, but which device would come out on top?
In the video, I ran several tests such as the speed, multitasking, benchmark comparison, and game tests. For the Game tests, I used Gamebench to see the average FPS rate. https://i68.tinypic.com/smrtq0.jpg
TheSexyChic: I agree with what you send about the audio quality, Misstechy, I know you are just coming up, but you need to do something about that. But what I don't agree with is that you said the review was boring?? HAAAA! Haba! that is one of the most interesting reviews I have watched and because of what you said, i actually took my time in watching more S7 reviews on youtube and all they did was talk and talk and talk and talk till I got fed up. So misstechy, yes do something about the audio, but don't mind him when he says it is boring, it isn't trust me.
Vanquay: You are a girl, you are more likely to find it interesting, I like my reviews straight to the point. Besides I have watched more reviews so I have higher taste and expectations Misstechy What's the name of your Bluetooth earbud in the intro
Vanquay: For a tech blog that can afford a S7, that audio quality was utter shit_. You need to have better camera angles and multiple cameras, also no one uses assistants to review tech, get tripods if you can afford it.
Your facial expression was too girly and casual and that warning of food etc was so unnecessary, leave the audience unaware of what's going to happen
Take some hints from MKBHD, UravgConsumer
I don't need a review and yours is boring but I watched the video and the electronic music is a Big No, usually it's something slower with less Bass, mellow and less loud, also the music at the food part, I understand you are catering to the Nigerian audience but playing music with vocals isn't encouraged
Thank you so much for the observations. I actually use a tripod for my last four videos .. but will look into all that has been said
joey150: my sister na so dem talk for s5..lags as hell. na so dem talk for g3 still lags. same as for g4 same thing. samsung are the fathers of lags..start from s3 and just work your way to the top.
they are still very far from very efficient even with all the ram. some blame it on the O.s some blame it on the software developers.
but one clear fact is...most of the high ends still lags..just not as much. unless you dont do nuch with your phone to notice it.
and babe you are doing a great job.. and phones you use for reviews are given to you by Samsung right or a company sha??
True too but for the S7, I didn't ; Samsung banked on less bloatware and more functionality.
P.S: Thank you so much. yeah the phone I review are always given to me by the phone company, in this case, Samsung
