like my g3..i have left it out in d rain by mistake and it has entered into my pot of stew once..i just let it dry and it works well again.

The same way my brothers s4 fell in water, but did not come on because he forget the rule of putting it in raw rice.

When it comes to 'modern phones' like you so put it there is always that fear when our phone that is not water resistant drops in water, but i dont think the s7 users have a need to fear or even feel the need to put it in rice or dry it immediately . That is the difference ..




P.S: most expensive phones are lag free because they have the one of the best processor speed and RAM. It is non negotiable especially in 2016.

most modern phones can deal with accidental spillage or the normal rain fall. but telling me to drop my phone in the washing machine..and telling me its a feature is a no no. give me a lag free phone with good battery life. I'll take it anyday anytime over that

Trust me when I tell you that most phones can't deal with accidental spillage. Trust me. and yes nobody is going to intentionally drop their phone in a washing machine... but accidents do happen

About the review, I think waterproof phones are good but dipping it in water too often or too long has 'long-term effects'. May take a year or more but eventually in some cases, you may begin to see sections of your screen suffering from screen bleed or minor discolourations to it.

So even though it says waterproof. Avoid dunking your phone in water.

very true, after the water test videos, ain't going to put the device in water anytime soon.

P.S: thaanks for the observation. Funny thing is I reduced the volume when editing cos I thought it was too loud.

Leave it inside the kitchen sink, bath tub or a bucket of water like 2 hours. Then, come and explain IF it is really waterproof.


Some of us really want to see that word WATERPROOF in action, not just that everyday water touch my phone.

Not like I can't do that, but Samsung has said that in order to ensure they did away with the flap, the device can only stay in water for a maximum of 30 minutes and trust me I put the S7 in water a couple of times (test videos) before arriving at the final video I was going to use. With that said, thanks for your observation.

...But the S5 has waterproof flap making it nearly impossible to cover if you put your device in water by accident.

Finally, the Galaxy S7 review is done and dusted, but as you all know, this is a global device and a lot of top international blogs have reviewed the device in their own beautiful way. However, contrary to the 20-minutes water challenge I wanted to do (I figured just staring at a phone in water for 20 minutes might be pretty boring) I decided to put the S7 through a series of real-life events where you might likely put your device in water. The one good thing I loved about the S7 is the fact that it doesn't have annoying flaps that cover the ports which mean you don't have to worry when you accidentally put your device in water. There were several issues that came up so do watch the video and let me know your thoughts.

Infinix launched the Hot 3 that had many people question the logic behind releasing a phone that comes with 1GB RAM especially in 2016. Of course, I was eager to see how far it would take me. Another thing I was eager to see was the talk about the soft flash, remember the Hot 3 comes with a 2MP front flash which is low in my opinion (Although who MB don epp), so I wanted to see why the Soft flash was being hyped. I have been MIA for a bit, apologies. The Zero 3 review is finally up, whew! I have a long written review where I compared it with the InnJoo 2 and the Almighty Phantom 5.

However, in the video review, I was able to test out the multitasking capabilities of the 3, I also did a temperature test because of the claims that the Zero series have heating problems and due to the large demand, I did a sensor test. The second part of the video had me doing a live video test both indoor and outdoor to test out the front and back camera capabilities, I also showed some camera samples of the InnJoo 2 vs the Zero 3.
