Anyone with half a brain can see that Fayose lied.
The same clown claimed Makinde was angry because he didn't get a ministerial slot
There was no 50bn donation. More importantly, it's now more obvious that these monies are given to opposition states to cajole or coerce them into the ruling party which if they refuse, it becomes an instrument of blackmail.
Same FG that's quick to announce donations to APC states which usually turn audio did not announce this particular donation and I can see their zombies already pushing the blame on the gov for not announcing the donation made to the state.
When Mokwa flood disaster happened in Niger state, the FG announced a donation but the state never received it
When the flooding in Maiduguri occurred, same FG was quick to announce donation which also turned audio and even led to fracas
Now the same FG gave 30bn to an opposition state and kept mum only to later send a minion to the press with some tales in a bid to silence the gov
One can now see why the likes of Wole Soyinka find it difficult to criticize the govt now like they did others in the past
APC's plan to force a one party state will fail eventually and zombies will be ashamed.
Fake stomach infrastructure patriots everywhere
Stop talking nonsense! Show me any other president that gave a governor 30 billion naira as support!

Please can anyone specify what the monies collected by Agberos from public transporters are being used for?

Almost every bus stop or keke stop, you'd always see these young boys running after keke or bus, sometimes they collect 1k or 5H from buses, and 2H from Keke.

Is the government collecting the monies from these boys? Because almost all bus stops in Lagos are packed with refuse, something that was not possible during Fashola and Ambode tenures... The roads are also bad. These Agberos cannot wear good clothes.

So what is the money used for?
If you know what the money collected by Labour is used for, then you know what Agbero money is used for. Sometime ago, we all learnt that NUPENG or was it PENGASSAN, collects N50,000 per truck loaded from the various depots. We learnt that their chairman has a permanent chalet at NICON NOGA hotel. You can see what the money is used for. To massage the blokos of senior officials of these organisations.

So you also have to drag a whole nation down to probe a past governor? We know that many governors at some point have been probed and some even went to jail for corruption. Obi is not even in the ruling party...the present governor of Anambra is not his fan. And he is presently a thorn in the flesh of the ruling party. If you guys had anything on him,he would be in jail by now.
Stop talking nonsense! Elrufai was probed by the Kaduna state government. Till this day what has happened? Elrufai is now Mr integrity just because he opposes the government.
And this is where you lack sense! Except a governor takes money directly from government coffers, it is difficult to prosecute him because EFCC lacks the powers to investigate state governments unless they're invited by the governor. It's like exposing your extreme nudity in public which nobody wants.
Now, on your silly statement that the present governor of Anambra is not in good terms with Obi, I ask, was it not the same APGA? Or do you think it will affect only Obi? Do you think Obi will steal himself or use cronies that are members of the party and also in the present government? That will be the death of APGA
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo, Yar’adua, Jonathan, Tinubu Would’ve Prosecuted Atiku If He Was Corrupt by Misterone: 10:04am On Dec 23, 2025
adenigga:
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dele Momodu, has disclosed that if former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was corrupt he would have been prosecuted by ex-Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, and President Bola Tinubu.

Momodu challenged anybody with evidence of any Atiku’s corrupt practices with either the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, or Code of Conduct Tribunal to make it known.

He spoke on Monday night while fielding questions from participants of an X Space session titled “Avrilsspace: The Electoral Mathematics for 2027.”

According to Momodu: “There is nothing under the sun that has not been written about Alhaji Atiku Abubakar but I can tell you that they have not been substantiated.

“Even the bloody fight between him and his former boss, Obasanjo; you could see that if indeed Atiku was as bad as they claimed, there is no way he would not have been tried at that time by his or thereafter by Yar’Adua or Jonathan or Buhari or even now by Tinubu.

“So if anybody knows anywhere where Atiku has been indicted for stealing public property, sharing public properties to his friends and cronies they should please tell us.”

The former presidential candidate described Atiku as a consummate Democrat who doesn’t encourage thuggery or militancy.

“My fascination for him increased after he became the Director of Strategic Communications from 2022 to 2023 and I saw the way he ran his office, he’s a seasoned administrator, a consummate Democrat, he allows everybody the same.

“You will never go to Atiku’s house and find people wailing around, whether they are thugs, militants or anything. He is such a cosmopolitan gentle man and this has often worked against him but people say this man is a Lagos boy.

“For me, if anybody has any evidence of an indictment or the government of Nigeria should take to EFCC, ICPC, or Code of Conduct Tribunal please feel free to tell us,” he added.

Dele is a kid. Davido said it, not me. He should know that there's a "bro code" at the top. Or does he think investigating a president or vice president is beans work? You have to drag the country down for you to do that because stealing at the top is not that simple. Take for example, Governors. Obi invested state funds in a bank he has interest in. He also use his position as governor to acquire 5% shares of a brewery. His aide was caught with N250 million of state funds. Today, Obi is seen as a man of integrity by some. He has not been prosecuted by the system, yet Dele is asking why Atiku has not been prosecuted! Does he think Atiku put the money inside Ghana must go and walked away? Or did Atiku not tell us about his SPVs

Chiemeriee:
Nigerian Commentator Urges Host Countries To Reject Reno Omokri As Ambassador

BY BONIFACE Okeke

Nigerian public commentator and political writer, Valentine Obienyem, a lawyer has announced that he will formally petition any country to which Mr. Reno Omokri is posted as Nigeria’s ambassador to pressure such host government not to accept his letter of credence.

In a detailed letter addressed to the President of the prospective host country and copied to its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Internal Affairs, Obienyem raises what he described as “grave concerns” about Omokri’s suitability to represent Nigeria diplomatically.

According to Obienyem, the objection was based on Omokri’s “publicly documented conduct and long-standing behaviour,” which he argues demonstrated instability, shifting loyalties, and an excessive tendency towards personal advancement rather than national interest.

Obienyem warned that accepting Omokri as ambassador could, in his view, pose risks to bilateral relations.

A substantial portion of the letter focused on Omokri’s past public commentaries on Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Obienyem recounted that in the period preceding and during the 2023 presidential election, Omokri was an outspoken critic of Tinubu, participating in protests and using strong language on social media to question the President’s fitness for office.

He further recalled instances in which Omokri mocked Tinubu’s health, referring to him as a “London patient”.

The letter also referenced Omokri’s past claims regarding Tinubu’s academic records and allegations of corruption, noting that these statements were made publicly and without caveat at the time. Obienyem provided links to videos and social media posts which he said demonstrated these positions, emphasising that his account was based on Omokri’s own published words.

Obienyem noted what he described as a dramatic reversal after the election. He recalled that Omokri had publicly declared he would never work with Tinubu, characterising such an arrangement as contrary to his “principles and DNA”.

However, according to the letter, Omokri later became an open supporter of the President, endorsing his policies, defending key decisions, and aligning himself with the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda”. This shift, Obienyem argued, has attracted widespread public attention and controversy in Nigeria.

The letter further stated that Omokri’s ambassadorial appointment has been protested by citizens, civil society groups, and commentators across the country, all questioning his suitability for diplomatic office. Obienyem suggested that the decision to proceed with the nomination despite these objections has deepened public unease.

Another major concern raised was Omokri’s alleged pattern of sycophantic behaviour. Obienyem argued that this tendency could lead to exaggerated or misleading representations to host governments in an effort to gain favour, thereby undermining trust and accurate diplomatic communication.

In conclusion, Obienyem advised host governments to exercise caution and to decline acceptance of Omokri’s letter of credence. He described his intervention as an act of patriotism, warning that, in his view, accepting Omokri could expose both Nigeria and the host country to reputational risk.

“This is not a personal matter,” the letter stated, “but a question of public responsibility and the integrity of diplomatic representation.”

Obienyem said he is prepared to supply further documentation of Omokri’s public statements upon request, adding that his objections will be raised whenever and wherever Omokri is posted.
Clown! So, what qualifies one as an ambassador is support for the president! Rubbish.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome issues a strong warning on Nigeria’s new tax law and the growing call to tax the rich more heavily. According to him, this approach may seem fair on the surface, but the real victims could be ordinary Nigerians and the poor.
In this video, we examine Pastor Chris’ argument that when governments increase taxes on the wealthy and big businesses, the burden is eventually transferred to consumers through higher prices for food, rent, transportation, and basic services. What looks like a tax on the rich may quietly become a tax on everyone else.
As Nigeria debates tax reforms and revenue generation, this message raises critical questions:
Who really pays when the rich are taxed more?
Do higher corporate and wealth taxes reduce poverty or worsen it?
How does taxation affect inflation, cost of living, and small businesses?
This video breaks down the economic logic behind Pastor Chris’ warning, explains how taxes are passed down the supply chain, and why policymakers must be careful when designing tax laws that affect businesses and investors.
