What I can infer from this action is that the opposition knows they've failed already. They're just looking for excuses for that failure. The INEC chairman does not release results. He only announces the final result. So why is the opposition fidgeting? If the INEC chairman has a say on who Will win then, there's no need to conduct elections. Let him just announce the winner.

After digging into it, here’s the truth:
There is no official record from FIFA, CAF, or the Nigeria Football Federation of such a match ever happening. India and Nigeria have never played each other in any recognized international match from that era
A scoreline like 99–1 is practically impossible in real football
And of course… the ball never turned into a lion

So where did the story come from?
Most likely, it started as a schoolyard tale that spread from one person to another. Back then, without the internet, stories like this traveled fast and became “facts” over time.

She said that Peter Obi was the Governor at the time of the incident and her uncle who was a principal stole money from the students. The court has a mandate not to interfere with internal party issues. INEC recognized David Mark as ADC Chairman, an occasion where Nafiu himself was present. The court was supposed to throw out Nafiu's case and fine him, but of course we know what the intention was.

Oga stop spewing ignorance with confidence! Once a case is of criminal nature, it's no longer a matter between the plaintiff and the accuse but a case between government and the accuse. The plaintiff only acts as witness. It's only civil case that the plaintiff will take the matter up.

What this has shown to us is that democracy is working. Oppositions and their likes can use the instruments of government to fight for their rights or injustice. Therefore, when people are arrested for making false claims about government officials, no one should say government is draconian or a dictatorship
