BrickandLace: Inflation is inflation. That's the last thing manufacturers, retailers and consumers need right now.
And you know it ! My question is why will an half fed man complain more than a full starved man? When CIT was 30%, we did not hear pim! Now it's 25% and not only that inflation has come down drastically. Yet to you guys, the world is coming to an end |
Politics › Re: No 25% Levy On Building Materials In Tax Act, FG Counters Amaechi by Misterone: 9:26pm On Feb 15 |
BrickandLace: We know.
But if I know you will deduct 25 percent from my gross sales, I as the seller may decide to top up the recommended retail price by 25% pass it on to the buyer. CIT was 30% before the tax reforms. Now it's 25%. Yet you think this is the right time to complain? Really! You didn't complain when it was 30% but at 25%, it's affecting the price of goods! Something is really wrong with this picture |

Words like can or may are two edged. swords. The senate was right. If they had gone with real time voting, all you need to stop an election was just to blow up some communication equipment in your opponents stronghold |

Obidients like putting the cart before the horse. Nigeria is not ready for realtime transmission of votes. We do not have the funds to do that now. Like you guys always say, "Nigerians are hungry". Why then do we need to waste money on something that will not stop rigging but enhance it. Because all you need to win an election is to hack the INEC server. Also, we cannot rely on commercial communication companies. Those ones will go for the highest bidder. The voting machines can be configured to tick a screen correctly while silently ticking something else inside the system. We are not ready as a country for electronic voting and transmission. |

Ironfaceman: I'm no fan of Ndume but I think Ndume made a lot of sense with his narratives.
The people appointed by tinubu are questionable and lack understanding.
Even the president is questionable and lacks understanding.
For tinubu his achievement will be a second term but the North and South Nigeria will not support this.
If tinubu wants to win a free and fair election.
He should fix power. No light in the country every day the national grid is collapsing
He should tackle security not just talk talk
He should reduce the price of petrol to 200 naira so as to stabilise the economy. Oga, everything in Nigeria must no be North! We have other part of the country. If northern presidents before now had done what he (Ndume) feels is easy to do, the north will be doing well now. Don't expect someone to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. |

COMPAQ: Thats not true. Apapa Oworonshoki exprewway is concrete and has no ashphalt layered over the concrete. Likelwise the road from Abraham Adesanya to Epe. Oga what that means is that the road has not been completed |
Travel › Re: Between Concrete And Asphalt (Tarred) Roads Which One Is Better? by Misterone: 5:56pm On Jan 25 |
LifeOfTrigga: Base on research.
Tarred roads are generally better and safer than concrete roads for driving 🚗. Here's why: - *Safety*: Tarred roads provide better traction, reducing skid risks, especially when wet. - *Durability*: Tarred roads are more flexible, handling weather changes and traffic loads better. - *Maintenance*: Tarred roads are easier and cheaper to repair.
Concrete roads are durable but can be slippery when wet and are often pricier to build/maintain 😊
All these concrete roads government dey build lately, hope e no go dey cause accident if rain dey fall sha Oga stop rabble rousing! All the concrete road built by government has asphalt layered on the surface. |

I have long understand that if manny of you have a sharper logic and intellect, you will do things differently and make different choices to what you are doing now. How can you say context doesn’t matter? In the conversation, an honest and mentally healthy person will understand that he is talking about living quarters. He said something like he doesn’t need it, inferring it’s a waste. Is his company a waste? No. He was only thinking about an house- a house in the strict sense of it- in that write up. But you Tinubu and APC people capacity to understand things ehhnnn… so I will just rest and leave you you that's doing things differently, were are you? Abi wait? I hope I am not talking to a Jss 1 pupil oh Oga, stop trying to shift the goalpost. He said what he said, context or not ! We're not bound by it. He said he doesn't have a house or property in Abuja. So long as it is on a land in Abuja, it qualifies as a house because the Abuja land use act will be binding on it. He has to pay rent and other entitlements that others pay. So why are you trying to differentiate Obi's own from others? |

Speaking with half information. Do yiu know tjw rules guodong ways and means? Do you know how buhari abused ways and means? Oga stop talking about what you don't know. You don't even know your left hand from your right hand! Buhari abused ways and means how? Every government has its style of governance. Just like Obi was saving money in his bank while there were no public schools, good access roads in the capital and poorly funded hospitals. His aim of saving was just the interest on the funds. Buhari preferred to pay workers and other things even if there's no money |

Keep talking trash. Prejudice rararara nwai stop spewing trash over the net. You just open your mouth to yap nonsense! Ways and means is a method used by the executive arm of government to meet up funds for items budgeted for when there are no real funds available. For example wages and salary etc. it is not a security vote that can be spent on frivolous activities. Try get sense small. And stop spreading lies and propaganda! |
