This is 1983 when you could build a house with 50k. Nigerians will always be hungry unless we wake up and do something for ourselves

Please speak for yourself only, if I see a too good man or too good woman, it will bring out the best in me. And my mind will be at peace
Stop talking nonsense! Everyone likes a good thing but it's the bad ones that's attractive.

LagosOrigin:
This is not right . This government is irresponsible. Why waste tax payers money this way

The government should be responsible enough to get this case over and done with unless they want to tell us that they don't have any concrete evidence against this man whom everyone believed to innocent.
You guys should stop talking nonsense! NMA is not an arm or agent of government. It is professional union of doctors.
Romance › Re: Why Do Some Women Cheat On Good Men? by Misterone: 2:23pm On Oct 08, 2025
LoneSoldier:
This is a question thrown to all, why do women cheat on good men?

You see them saying they want God fearing, gentle and hardworking men, but the slightest given chance they cheat on the said God fearing man which they once asked for.

So, why do women cheat on good men?
It's because bad thing dey sweet but e no dey last long. Even as a man, if your wife is too good, you'll be attracted to bad girls because a man or woman wants what he or she can't have.

JetApartment:
Respect is earned and not forced...this is common sense. You don't go about forcing people to respect you, only an egocentric and arrogant individual does that...I guess you are defending your mentor with equal mindset.
Stop talking nonsense! A journalist is there to present burning issues of public concern to the guest! They're not lords! They're there to serve the public, not take sides and become opposition parties mouthpiece. A journalist that has taken sides cannot be respected!
Politics › Re: Umahi, Wike And The Danger Of Arrogant Governance In Tinubu’s Cabinet - Ogunyemi by Misterone: 10:44am On Oct 08, 2025
JetApartment:
What are you even saying? Umahi is not Oseni's father, he is a public servant that is questionable by Nigerians, if he want respect he should resign from public office... period.
Because you're a public servant doesn't mean your rights can be trampled upon! Oseni should go for professionalism. He can still ask those same questions politely or professionally. Journalist should not be using words like "I put it to you that". They're not supposed to take sides. Just ask the questions then allow the audience to decide if they're satisfied with the answer or not. They're not supposed to be arguing with the guest.
The minister is in a better position to give information about his ministry not the other way round.

Read the article again before saying rubbish...Umehi is a public servant that can be questioned while Useni is a journalist that can question him, no Minister is bigger than their portfolio and unquestionable...make una dey use common sense dey defend rubbish.
Just because you're a journalist doesn't give you the right to be rude when asking questions. There's a way you ask politely. And you are taught this in the school of journalism.

Politics › Re: Lagos Demolitions: Law, Justice, And Compassion - Peter Obi by Misterone: 11:21am On Oct 07, 2025
Is it that Obi doesn't have examples of situations in Anambra to give? Is that why he gave the one in UK? This is a man that pursued non indigenes from Anambra civil service instead of allowing them regularize their employment! Is that not the same as killing a man that stole a bicycle instead of imprisonment?

Politics › Re: Why Is Dangote Against The Unionization Of His Refinery Workers? by Misterone: 10:40pm On Sep 30, 2025
It's not about being private or public Company. It's about the fact that PENGASSAN can wake up overnight and call for a strike on something Dangote knows nothing about. Look at the present situation which is a case in point. Did NNPC, Shell, Chevron, Agip, or NGC sack their workers or have any issue with PENGASSAN? No. So why did PENGASSAN shut down those companies? Are these companies not loosing money presently due to the strike? Yes they are. Dangote doesn't want someone sitting at some beer parlour somewhere to dictate how his $20 billion refinery is operated. They're not shareholders of the refinery, so why will they dictate when the refinery should be closed or opened!
