Kobojunkie: Does the use of a drying pot cause the meat to smoke(not steam) even after it has been placed in the soup? That is steam, not smoke. Go to Delta state, especially Urhobo land, this is a common delicacy in the villages. A native man in urhobo land will prefer to use the éwéré pot than a breakable plate. |

Macphenson: The reason Fubara is even in a bigger mess was trying to implement the resolution given to both parties by Mr. President.
Wike and his cohorts NEVER made any move to implement those resolutions. Fubara took the first step of withdrawing a court case he would have won clearly. Now that peace step has become his albatross.
I think Tinubu should advise Wike more than Fubara. Please explain how the case would've been won |

Razor Gazsetti should stop embarrassing journalism. I have search online for the said client who paid " tens of millions of dollars " but I found nothing about the name Daphne Shyfield.
I believe an individual that is capable to pay tens of millions of dollar must be a big bag with a single search that will bring information about the person. Thank you sir. Not only that, someone that can pay tens of millions of dollars cannot be taken for a ride that way. Dem go come Nigeria come pick you. |

There're three arms of government. the executive, legislature and the judiciary. Just as the legislators does not have the right to stop the judiciary in its functions, the judiciary also has no right in stopping the legislature. |

What did he do wrong? Can Natasha prove the allegation of sexual harassment? You think it's just by saying you did this or that then that person is guilty? You have to prove "beyond reasonable doubt" Her story has to be corroborated by an outside witness, a video or audio of him making the statement. Her husband cannot be a witness because he will be biased. |
Politics › Re: The 27 Members Of Rivers Assembly Are Not APC Members - Supreme Court by Misterone: 11:39pm On Mar 05, 2025 |
franugo: I do have issues with the supreme Court judgement, does it mean that they no longer recognize a sworn affidavit from a valid court as a legal document? The part about the lawmakers not being in apc member register is not really important here, the issue at hand was about whether there is evidence that they defected from pdp, not on whether they're registered in apc. Nevertheless, the supreme Court have given their judgement, however flawed it is, and has to be obeyed. It's all about our laws. For you to be a member of the house of assembly, you must be a member of a political party. The evidence that you're a member of a political party is that you must have a card and have your name in their register. Therefore, those member could not have defected through an affidavit as it's not recognised by law. Also, they cannot have resign from the party without going to another party as that would mean loosing their membership of the house. |
Politics › Re: I Can’t Be President And You Will Close Down School For Ramadan - Sowore by Misterone: 3:52pm On Mar 04, 2025 |
naptu2: Hey! This post almost did my head in! I don't understand what you wrote or what language it is in, but I'll take the opportunity to explain the very simple things in my post.
In Nigeria, secondary education is in the residual list which means that the primary responsibility for managing secondary education lies with state governments. State governments set the dates for the school term, etc. Most of the public secondary schools are also owned by the state.
You see, in a constitutional democracy, there are separate areas of control. There are things that are reserved for the federal government, things reserved for the state and things reserved for the local government (just as there is separation of power between the executive, legislative and judicial arms of government). Man with sense! If Sowore can read this your post, he will be so ashamed of himself! Democracy is all about the rule of law! Not emotions! |
Politics › Re: I Can’t Be President And You Will Close Down School For Ramadan - Sowore by Misterone: 3:47pm On Mar 04, 2025 |
IPIGSRSHALLOW: Mumu talk. What will you do about it? Force them to open? This guy doesn't understand that even the presidential power is limited.. No mind the noise maker! Education is under the concurrent list. Therefore states can make laws for state schools. This undemocratic element is a big scam! Democracy is not about doing what is right but about doing what the majority wants under the law. |

Bestmanfornow: I know most of you guys lack common sense, FG few days ago said they are not ready to bail any state out you will soon know why Anambra state is light of the nation, come to Anambra state and see massive projects he completed two flyovers, new government house, built five hospitals, biggest trauma centre, biggest Fun centre in Nigeria, Innovation District, Pharmaceutical distribution hub, Awka Mall, Smart schools completed 450km of roads and bridges without borrowing, tell me what your state governor has achieved despite borrowing huge, Gov Soludo won best governor on infrastructure, won best in health care by WHO, Your governor that has been borrowing how far Story! Story!! The facts on ground is that all these are farce. Anambra state is one big comedy! For a state with so much potential. |
Politics › Re: Anambra State Is The Only State In Nigeria That Rejected World Loan (photo) by Misterone: 8:43pm On Mar 02, 2025 |
sreamsense: That is a sign of directionless government. The government doesn't know what to do with word bank load because there are no development plans on ground to put the funds into use and do quick pay back. Even USA being richest in the world still borrow money. When you have capital project and infrastructure in sight beyond state financial capacity, there is no way you wouldn't borrow to finance them like FG is doing, but because the government is directionless and has no capital project except petty petty projects, it will continue to brag in ignorance. Tell Anambra government to finance deep sea port, railway infrastructure across the sate and many other big investments. Building houses and build roads are pretty pretty projects. Government should wake up to invest in big projects by sourcing for loans and judiciously make use of them, bragging on ignorance does nobody any good Don't mind him. He has been constructing one small bridge at Ekwulobia for the past 3 years and he's still at it. That is the purpose of loans. Deliver the dividends of democracy now then pay gradually. It's stupidity for someone to build a less than 50 metres bridge in over 4 years and thinks he's doing the right thing. Those that took loans to built theirs have been enjoying it and paying back gradually. Even at that, when you factor in inflation, you'll see that it's just foolishness. |
