Tomato was once 4 pieces 200 now it's almost 8 fifty naira,

Bro I say in PH too, that rice you're talking of as of 2015 was about #800. As for the tomatoes I'll try and visit oil mill to confirm if it's sold like that there, but I buy 6 pieces for #200 at my area

The family of Joe Blankson a 36-year-old man has been thrown into moruning following his painful death in Rivers state.

Joe a contractor who supplies diesel died while rescuing victims of a boat accident on Saturday, He had single-handedly rescued 13 people when a boat capsized along the Abonnema-Bakana waterways in Degema, Rivers state.

Fishermen around the area rescued some people while Blankson succeeded in rescuing 13 people all on his own.
As the father-of-two attempted to rescue a 14th person, he died in the river and his body was retrieved a day later.

In all, six people died in the boat mishap, according to eyewitness reports. But the state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, insisted that only one person died in the accident and not six.

It is believed Blackson might have died of exhaustion after going multiple times to save 13 people.

Residents of Bakama in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State have hailed the young father a hero for his selfless act which cost him his life.

The boat was conveying 25 passengers from Abonnema wharf to Bakana before the accident happened around Iborama.

This is very unfortunate. A man and his female partner have been killed in a fatal accident which reportedly happened early this morning in Rivers state.

The couple were said to be on a power bike before the accident occurred near Bori Camp (Aba road) in Rumukpakolosi, Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The couple died instantly according to reports as another person who was trying to cross the road was also hit and killed by the speeding motorcycle and his leg crushed in the process.

The three victims are yet to be identified as their pictures were shared online in a bid to locate their families and relations.

For the records they are not couples, the rider was alone, his brakes failed and he hit two people a male and female. The girl happens to be our student. This is another loss for Uniport.

Two former Governors, Jolly Nyame from North East(Taraba) and Joshua Dariye who is a serving APC Senator from North Central (Plateau) have been jailed so far. Both are members of APC.

The theory that you become a saint once u move to APC is not entirely true anymore.

If it's no longer true, meaning twas true and why is it no longer true now? It's simple 2019 election is fast approaching and they need votes, all I see is propaganda.

Rivers State is the only place i see people brag openly about being a cultist.

80% of Rivers indigene belong to a cult group. From Isiokpo to Eneka, Eleme to Ogoni, Omoku to Ahoada, cult thrives like social club. Lecturers, Policemen, teachers, bankers, etc all identify with a cult group.

May God continue to protect us in this Rivers state.

In as much as cultist are many 80% is much, coz as a rivers boy that I am, I know. many only claim coz they know one or two of the cult slang. 80% is a very large exaggeration.
