Former Trybesmen rapper and host of One Mic Naija show Kunle Bello was falsely abducted by police around 11:55pm last night and hasn’t been heard from since.

He told the whole story from his Twitter account till he stopped early this morning and hasn’t been heard from since. Read his tweets below as he kept us updated as the act was carried out:

“So I’ve just been carried with bout 5 of my peoples by the Nigerian Police Force. We dey inside Black Maria and they’ve said nothing”

“This Is Nigeria! There you are minding ur own business and the people meant to protect ur life and property will come to arrest U forcefully ”

“I dunno. Somewhere in Yaba sha. I will slap the next person that says some ‘are U sure…’ RT @TheTosyn: @kunlebello where r u for real”

Apparently, some of his friends have gotten to the Alausa where he's being held.
And this is what one of them tweeted:
"Two officers Rotimi Idowu and Ologun Theophilus are demanding I tip them to check if @kunlebello is here"

Naija! Is this is what our country has turned into? Is this how jobless our Nigerian police has become? I think the Lagos government should also give attention to ways to curb the excesses of the Law enforcement officials. No wonder Nigeria was ranked as the worst country to be born in. Its pitiable.

The world’s unofficial smallest dog is a tiny Terrier that measures 7cm tall, 12cm long and weighs 150g about the size of a hamster. Little Meysi is now three months old and is the size of a coke can. Meysi’s owner is trying to get the pup down in the Guinness World Record for smallest dog, however Meysi has to turn one year old first. Awwww! So cute!

Source close to the BON Awards’ organizers has leaked news that singing actress, Tonto Dikeh is having talks with organizers to perform at this year’s Best of Nollywood Awards and it is said to be close to sealed.

The actress who was also nominated alongside Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Nse Etim for the best actress category would be performing her controversial singles on the BON stage. The award ceremony which is to be hosted by Nonso Diobi and Mercy Aigbe is billed to hold at a date in the last quarter of 2012.

A Kenyan mother has named her new-born twins after US President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

Millicent Owuor, 20, reportedly gave birth to the twins in south-west Kenya on the day Obama was re-elected.

“I named the first twin Barack and the second one Mitt,” Owuor was quoted by Reuters as saying.

She said she had named her twins after the winning and losing US presidential candidates in order to remember the day of the vote.

Lagos State National Assembly is seriously making plans to ban smoking in some restricted areas of the state.

The anti-smoking bill has scaled through the first reading at the Lagos State House of Assembly yesterday.

It contains the prohibition of smoking in designated places for connected purposes. If passed into law, the bill will restrict smokers of tobacco, or anything, which contains tobacco, or any other substance in places marked ‘No Smoking Area’.

It would also be seen as a grievous offence to smoke in the presence of under-aged kids at any given location.

This is some serious re-structuring going on in Lagos. Lol
