I'm not in condemnation of any church. They have the right to make any decision they wish. But I just want to state this fact: Jehovah's Witnesses produce more than 1.3billion magazines and 80 million books and Bibles which are given out free of charge. They are also available electronically for you to read and share as you wish. So how do we cater for the cost? Despite the fact we allow others to donate to support our work, our preaching work is primarily financed by voluntary donations from Jehovah’s Witnesses. No collections are taken at our meetings, and members are not required to tithe. (Matthew 10:7, 8.) Instead, contribution boxes are provided in our meeting places so that if someone wishes to make a donation, he may do so. Donors remain anonymous. One reason that our expenses are manageable is that we have no paid clergy. In addition, Witnesses are not paid to go from house to house, and our places of worship are modest. Any donations that are forwarded to the branch offices of Jehovah’s Witnesses are used to relieve victims of natural disasters, to support our missionaries and traveling ministers, to help construct our houses of worship in developing countries, and to print and ship Bibles and other Christian publications. Each person decides if he or she wants to donate toward paying for local expenses, for our worldwide work, or for both. Every congregation provides regular financial reports for the information of its members. More facts here: https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/activities/publishing/global-printing/ |

Being a social media manager for brand is not as easy as ABC. That is why they asked for previous experience. Since you do not have any, you can prep up your personal social media accounts and present as your experience. DO NOT LIE! As for what to expect on this job, here are some few things to note: You'll need to familiarize yourself with social media applications, at least the popular ones. How well do you know the features of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter? It doesn't end with just putting up a picture and sharing it. Are you familiar with hashtags? Can you use them effectively? Can you tag properly and mention someone in a post? Can you run adverts on at least one of the platforms? Those are some of the basic things they expect you to have knowledge on. There are social media tools for analytics and scheduling posts. Are you aware of any? Do a quick research on them and have a general idea. Some of them include Buffer, Later, Onlypult, Hootsuite, Postso and lots more. Do you know how to source for good content free of errors? The first social media manager job I got, I was asked to send out a couple of tweets right there during the interview. And they waited to see the response the tweet will attract. Fortunately for me, I'm quite witty when writing and got a good number of retweets in minutes. So prep yourself for similar scenario. If this happens, remember the basics for a social media post: Good quality image, error-free post text, proper hashtags, and customise each post for each channel. Instagram favors the use of more hashtags than Facebook and is more about visuals, while Twitter has post limit. Follow popular social media influencers and learn from them. They are very many. You obviously can't be a pro overnight but if you can impress them with a knowledge of these basic things, they might not bother about previous experience as long as you show a willingness to learn and improve. To further impress them, visit their social media channels(if they already do) and put together a simple strategy on how you intend to grow their brand on social media. Speak like you already work with them |
Alariiwo:Sadly these things happen. But personally I believe if you waka well and hold strongly to your God, they can't succeed. They can only try. Emphasis on "waka well". |
mhizv:Not in all cases sis. I and two of my brothers are into same line of business. We receive calls a lot from clients who want their jobs done, we monitor dollar rate because of fiverr gigs we buy and Facebook ads, and we of course talk about our clients a million times at home. Doesn't necessarily mean we are into Yahoo or what they call it. We are into digital marketing and online publicity. Yahoo guys are very easy to spot but not with these alone. I've met quite a number of them when i was single and I didn't need a seer to tell me they are into that stuff. |
jazzyjazz:Hallo sis. How are you guys doing? Prepping for baby number 2 already? ![]() I wish I can remember the names of people's babies the way you mamas remember Dunno the kind of brain I have. Falling my hand since 1900. |
FloraEC:Hahaha. Amen o. Me sef I'm wishing for it. We are doing great sis. Thanks |
Elixir123:Same thing happened to my LO. The nurse wasn't careful when injecting him. As long as baby is active and okay, I don't think there is any cause for worry. It will disappear. Mine took weeks before the lump dissolved. I applied shea butter(ori) on the surface without pressing it down. I guess it also helped |
Xcelinteriors:Is it wooden? |

Oliran:Oh sorry. Didn't read properly. Someone has cylinders in another thread. You can check him out. I got a freezer from him and saw the cylinders: https://www.nairaland.com/4196005/relocation-sales |
Oliran:Pls include price and pics if possible in order to sell off faster |
Lexmeizta:Finally got the freezer. But no Nutri milk |
This thread should move faster than this. Inform your friends that they can sell off their household stuff here. Let's keep it booming with sales and offers... |
Just kidding o. Please check your Whatsapp. I need some items urgently |
How much is the pink Nutri milk on top of the freezer? |
Do you have a Liebherr freezer? If no, what brand of freezer do you have? And what's the cost? |
