Another one. We can't just assume every assault accusation by a lady is a lie. Its best to hear from both parties before we start dishing out insults. I agree people need to learn to respect uber/taxify drivers. Not all of them are paupers. Even a pauper should also be respected. Some of the drivers also lack courtesy. I almost reported one this week who was almost accusing me or giving him wrong direction. He wasted 30mins of my time arguing with me and shouting that my address is not correct until he realized he didn't look properly. He later apologized profusely. I knew he will later apologize after realizing his mistake so I was calm all through. It takes patience to deal with situations with strangers. Everything doesn't have to lead to a quarrel or a fight or an abuse. |
Anyone has a neatly used 32inch LED TV in Lagos? A friend on the mainland needs one |
tonia2k4:Where in Lagos? Please always state precise location so the buyer can tell if its close to him/her or not |
Late post but thanks for the data over the weekend. I decided to take the risk and trust you. And you delivered |
Alvin007:That was very risky. Some popular sellers on NL can still scam you, how much more someone you barely know. Buying from people around my location is my best option, to avoid issues from both end. |
okirewaju:Online shopping is a two way thing. You could make payment and the seller starts acting up or disappears with your money. On the other hand, the seller can accept pay on delivery option, but when you get the item, you can reject it and decide not to buy again, then the seller ends up losing the money he/she used in transporting it. A lot of sellers no longer accept pay on delivery option. That doesn't make them a scammer. The best bet is to buy items from locations close to you so you can go see the item for yourself. If you are satisfied with the condition, you pay and take it home. But if the seller is a trusted person you know, then you can decide to risk it and pay before delivery. If a seller's payment option is not okay for you, move on to another seller. As for me, i always follow my instinct when it comes to online shopping. If I'm not comfortable with a transaction, I'll just ignore and not bother buying. |
comtem2011:I"m doing fine sis. Tiredness just won't let me go beyond peeping. Plus baby is playing hide and seek with me. He/she doesn't want me to know gender so I can start shopping. I don't fancy buying unisex stuff ![]() How is our bun doing? Hope you are getting enough rest and MS isn't dealing with you? Congrats to all those who have offloaded. To the waddling mamas, Jehovah shall make it easy for you all |
TOH |
Still available? |
Ubiero:This particular one is sold for 10/12k now. But all the same, used one still cant be 20k. I'm sure its a typo. This thread is not MMM for people to double their money. Let him/her come online and clarify the price. |
... |
comtem2011:Awwwww! Didn't know ![]() We are all crossing the finish line together. No more sad stories on this thread anymore. Good news and birth announcements all the way! Welcome back once more sis! |
mamatwiny:As long as hubby loves it, carry go jare. Lol ![]()

comtem2011:Whoop whoop!!! Congrats sis. Welcome to my team. The old members are returning with style ![]() |
Dexterush is the real deal. Ordered for one of her quad bikes for my son and got it delivered that same day. She even went the extra mile to make sure its exactly what I would love. Customer service and product on point!!! |
temmy2103:I completely agree. Had mine for almost 2years now and its superb |
Ahnie my fellow isoko mama. Sorry I forgot to congratulate you yesterday. Welcome back to your third journey. How we gon celebrate it? Wish you a smooth and stress-free 9months journey |
Fiducia:Can't wait to read her BS and see how it went ![]() I hope she is resting well though? |
PatKing:Seriously?? And since when is making a birth announcement on April 1st a problem? People are pregnant and instead of us to be happy for them, we are finding a problem with the day they announced it. I bet you wouldn't find it funny if they tag your pregnancy a joke, would you? Do you have an idea if they too have been trying to conceive? Nobody is hating on you but you were simply corrected that your post was highly unnecessary. Don't know why this is such a big deal to accept and you are blowing it out of proportion. Gosh! Let's not spoil the love in this group pls
|
Liftedhands:Walk into any bar and take one bottle of chilled wine. Tell them mitchyy has paid! |
Fiducia:Awwwww. Such a cutie! Congrats to your sis. And welldone for being a very strong support system for her. |
zaynie:Yayyyyyyyy! Congratulations VVIP mama. Thank God we are pregnant at the same period o. At least you'll be very active here. Hehehehe! NB: Not everything done in April 1st is a joke! |
Fiducia:Don't worry. She will be fine and it'll end up well. Just be her support and follow up on everything the doctors and midwives are administering. Anything you are confused about, just quickly pop the question here. Wish her safe delivery! |
ebenholer:I'm referring to a brand like First Bank finding humor in the issue. I never said I'm in support of or against what happened today. And yes, I live in Lagos and was affected. |
3rdeye1:Oh really? Didn't know. Thought he left |
Their social media manager needs some coaching from that guy who handled the EFCC twitter page. Humor gone wrong.. |
icekidmuktar:Calm down and read his comment again. He didn't say anything wrong. He simply appreciated LarrySun for being a good writer. So why the insult? |
talltosyne:Thanks for checking on us cappo. EDD is August 2nd. Haven't checked gender yet. Hope to do so this week though. We will soon start shopping o. Mans got lots to do for now. |
Lol @mortuary standard |
I'm doing clearance sales for the popcorn and coke in my kitchen... For anyone who is here to watch this drama! ![]() This fight and drama is highly unnecessary by the way. We all have to be careful before tagging someone a scammer. There is also nothing wrong in pointing out a potential scam. A lot of people on NL post photos of products they have sold long ago, deceiving innocent buyers. Once bitten, twice shy. Just employ maturity when addressing issues here. |
Fiducia:To increase PCV... Garden egg leaves. Squeeze the juice from the raw leaves and mixed with malt and drink. Ugu leave juice is also good but taken in moderation. I prefer to take it without milk cus it slows down the absorption of iron. I currently steam vegetables and add to my meals everyday because I had low pcv due to my severe morning sickness. I slice ugu, eforiro leaf, waterleaf, scent leaf, then add crayfish powder, dryfish to sweeten it a bit, then steam together for just five-ten minutes. I either eat it like that or add to almost all my meals for the day. First, have you confirmed your cousin's pcv is low? Second, have you timed her contractions to be sure its Braxton Hicks and not labour since she is 40weeks already? Make she nor go born for house o. |
whyworryPH:Congratulations! This time, this baby shall stay and you will deliver safely. I don't know the reason behind your previous loss, so it'll be best to register with a hospital for antenatal and let your gynae monitor the pregnancy as it progresses. I don't think you should wait till 12weeks like everyone else. You don't necessarily have to start attending antenatal classes yet but register and let your doctor follow you up from Day one. Its what my doc does. |
