37weeks is fullterm already. My baby was born at 37weeks 4days and he was perfectly healthy, even healthier than some other babies born same day.

I guess it depends on hw strong u feel a sister in my Cong. stayed at home for like 2 months, while another Sis dat put to bed about the same time came to meeting d following wk, me dat was thinking of how to go greet her at home was surprised to see her at d meeting.

True. I was feeling strong 2weeks after and even wanted to attend meeting then but pple said its too early. So i had to wait till the 5th week.
Whenever you feel you're strong enough to sit for the 2hrs without lying down, then you're good to go.

Do you have a list already?

What i did was split the list into three according to my budget. I didn't spend above 100k in getting everthing i needed. It all depends on your pocket. Some mamas spend up to 200k in getting their baby items, others spend about 60-70k.
So plan according to what you intend to spend. No matter your budget, you can get what you need.

Lovely BS @babythug. Thank God it ended in praise. Have read about birthing on fours.....that its one of the easiest/safest way to birth but it's a pity most hosp wouldnt even consider the option but the usual on the back and looking at one's navel.....issh.

A friend told me same thing. That birthing on all fours was super easy for her. I told my doc and midwives during ANC and they laughed at me. Lol

Ahnie fear for drugs (phobia) is different from being allergic (which is bad). She is only allergic if she has some form of reaction to the drugs. What if the drugs are supposed to save her life, wouldn't she still take them?

Anyways, there are lots of foods and fruits that contain the required vitamins.. she would need to google each vitamin and mineral needed to help her baby grow and see what foods contain them.
E.g
Folic acid:
Leafy green vegetables, such as spinach.
Citrus fruits, such as orange juice.
Beans.
Breads.
Cereals.
Rice.
Pastas.

...etc

You are right. @mum ahnie, she also should ensure she takes the right quantity in order to get the right amount of vitamin needed daily.
Has she tried the age-old drug inside eba style?

Too early to conclude the pregnancy isn't viable thru a scan. Wait for a week or two and try again

It works very well when you use it before going to bed and avoid the sun.

You use Aramot too? Most of her skin products are really really nice. I used her products back then in 2010 when she was still in Ikorodu. But i switched when i noticed it favours light skinned persons more, not blackie like me.
My lightskinned friends i introduced to her still use her products till date and they are glowing.

Good morning mama's, please help me, my skin looks so pale,especially my face. it started when I conceived, I changed my cream to jergens lotion in a bid to use something mild for my baby(don't blame me after series of miscarriages and lastly heterotopic pregnancy, I can even stay 9 months without baffing sef), but now it's worse especially my face(white heads)please what cream and soap can I use to look good and bright will be going back to my base next week. I want to look super cute for hubby.

As a rule, i do not use my body cream for my face. I learnt that a long time ago because the texture of your skin in the face is different from that of your body.
Immediately i got pregnant, i stopped using my cream and went natural. I was alternating ori(shea butter) and coconut oil.
For my face, i apply coconut oil lightly.

Jergens body lotion is too heavy as a face cream. Since your skin is pale, try doing a DIY body and face scrub. They are so many you can try. Just google the ones that are safe in pregnancy. You can try the popular honey and sugar.
But don't forget to scrub your face gently to avoid irritating it further.

You can also try and DIY face mask using honey, milk and oats to exfoilate your face.

Another reason you might have a pale skin might be your PCV or its possible its just pregnancy hormones.

Small flask was for making baby's food and after we switched to breastmilk, i started using it for my tea in between meals.
Big flask was to store hot water bathing baby. I just boil and store in the flask till i'm ready to bathe him cus phcn is not reliable
