raptor2:Just seeing this post. Sorry i missed it. Abeg sleep well well o. Vigilante is real. I've asked my mum about the Vigorous GINT flask and she said she bought it N5000 at Onitsha from her wholesale customers but regular shops sell it between N5500 and N6000. |
Twogreatnations:Sure! Just sent it. Check your inbox |
zimunachimdi:Nor dance fall for ground o. Lol |
sexymum1:Sorry dear. We are getting there. Try and rest as much as you can in preparation for the d-day. Good to know you're fine. *hugs* |
tobiaboG:Sorry about the MC dear. Did the scan confirm what they told you at the private hospital? Since ure still bleeding, i think you should see an ob/gyn. Most of these doctors in govt hospitals have their own private hospitals. If you know any of them, you can visit their hospitals. Let us know your location first of all so mamas can make proper recommendation |
zimunachimdi:I've forwarded it to you now. If you scroll down the mail you'll see the part where it was sent to you. Don't worry dear, we are all here for each other ![]() |
zimunachimdi:The book was sent to you dear. Someone sent it to me, though i dont know who she is else i would have thanked her. From the email thread i could see your email address that it was fowarded to you first before it was even sent to me. Check your mail properly biko. I can send you a screenshot if you wish |
Iyabetajos:I'm even thinking mamas should be writing diaries on their pregnancy experience. Our kids would love to read it when they grow up. We can even read and laugh at ourselves later ![]() |
ginababy:I never said she shouldn't try God dear. That is not the point i countered. No marriage can survive without God. What i'm on about is, in this era of news of women being beaten to death by their husbands, i can never support putting my life or the life of my baby at risk all in the name of marriage. Neither will i encourage my fellow woman to stay in a violent marriage because one yeye stigma. Its entirely left for them to decide. Life is precious and nothing(no matter how sharp the woman's mouth is) gives a man the right to raise his hands on his wife he was given by God to protect and care for. And women shouldn't be made to feel they are always at fault for a man's violence. When my mum finally left my dad, she didn't relent in prayers or her service to God. My dad even married another woman and yes people talked and yabbed my mum. But after a year, he regained his senses and today they are back together and the beating has stopped totally. Every mallam and e kettle sha because i understand we all grew up and learnt differently |
omowunmigan:I'm so happy that you're no longer depressed dear. Our fingers are crossed for you. We know you too will share your unique pregnancy and delivery story. Don't stop having faith. Mum zaynie, rofemiguwa and other mamas who gave practical solutions to her, your reward is going to be far above your expectations. Thank you so much |
No offence @ginababy, but the stigma of divorce or seperation and someone's life, which should take priority? I'm not an advocate for divorce at the slightest issue, and i think it should be a last resort but trying to avoid the stigma of divorce is what led to the loss of my two elder brothers. Today they are no more and my mum regrets listening to those who made her scared of leaving when she should have. Everyone and their own ideology sha but ive learnt a lot to know life should always come first. |
joychioma19:I just had a discussion with a friend who gave birth recently. She said she attended a birth class in the UK and as a first time mum, labor and delivery was super easy. See the points and tips she shared with me and right now i can confidently say i'm no longer scared of labor: - Download contraction timer app on your phone and dh's phone. That way you can tell when the next contraction is coming and brace yourself for it calmly. - Make a research on relaxation exercises and start practicing them so you will be relaxed in labor - Practice breathing through your nose and out through your mouth. Take deep breaths. It'll help you relax and manage pain - In early labor, try standing on your feet most of the time. The gravity will help speed up the process and you wont have to be in labour for long. - Also rotate your hips when standing, it can help you dilate faster - Make a research on various delivery positions and find the one that is less painful for you. For her, the regular lying on your back was extremely painful so she switched to kneeling on all fours and that's how she delivered easily. - In her birthing class, she was told that when you lie on your back you squash your pelvis and your pelvis is what needs to expand during the birth. So it gets bigger during each contraction, but lying in bed works against what your body is doing, so it hurts really bad. - She used a hot water bottle on her back and because of that she didnt need any epidural or pain medications. I hope this info helps other mamas like me who are scared of the labor and delivery process. |
cutienik:Mexican, korean, japanese, philippine, i'm not a huge fan of any o. I'm a big Hollywood and Animation fan. Remember Hansel and Gretel? Remember Hans in the cartoon Frozen? That's where my inspiration for the name Hansel is from ![]() |
Iyabetajos:Hehehe. Our symptoms are so much alike. I put my hand der to support it when i feel pressure in my vjay. Yesterday i was even feeling pulse there, like heartbeat. This experience is just wonderful |
GenyEbere:You're fortunate its cucumber you posted this time. Ntorrrr, i have it many in my fridge ![]() |
cutienik:Oya let's go to one corner and talk. Mamas here nor go hear us ![]() |
ajuwarhodes:So good to hear from you finally!!! Thank God ure okay. I wish mine was treating me well too. It seems this is period of extreme activity for our babies. As for your tummy, dont use your eye to judge o. I told midwife last week that it seems my tummy is not growing. She said, "Are you the one measuring it? Your baby is growing according to my measurement so i don't know what you are saying." So just relax and enjoy your moderate size bump. It might also be true too that its because its your first |
AudreyTimms:You are obviously just a channel for him to let out his frustration. Let him come over here to nairaland and spill this same rubbish. Silliness! That is how one writer here asked the mods to close her thread and she refused updating her story anymore when the insults became unbearable. They are only keyboard warriors but in reality, as powerless as a trapped mouse. Pay these kind of joy-sapping comments no attention dear. |
pintoxx:Yes dear. I only take cold water once in a while. Especially after i throw up. Just finished throwing up everything in my intestines an hour ago sef. I never knew nausea and vomitting returns in 3rd trimester. Its dealing with me seriously. The kids didnt come today o. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Lol ![]() |
feddy27:No Lagos baby shop doing sales? Kai! I need to save money o |
feddy27:@thorpido your concerns are not wrong but you should have read back before dissuading other mamas and warning them to stay away from what her doc recommended from her. That is why she felt slighted and went harsh on you. All the same i guess its now water under the bridge. Let's move on |
BritneyStacy:Yes indeed. You'll be helping us arrange chairs in tbe team when its time for classes. Cutienik will be your supervisor ![]() |
feddy27:Mama, i think this is too harsh. First of all you never could tell if he is truly an ob/gyn or in the medical field. Secondly, this is not just a women forum. Men are also welcome who either have medical experience or have pregnant wives. Let's not scare people away but try to correct them gently since we are one family biko. Men are welcome in our discussions as long as they don't derail. We could learn a thing or two from thorpido experience. Don't be offended with his comment pls, i'm sure he didnt mean to mock you |
cutienik:Madam BritneyStacy, leave my teamie alone o before we drag you to July. I know you've been eyeing our team ![]() |
ginababy:Lmao. Next time she wont tempt us with snail pics ![]() |
@omowunmigan, nothing is impossible dear. People have kids after searching for up to 10-15years. When it happens, it'll come as a surprise and shock. It'll be too good to be true. It might happen sooner than you think. Just keep having faith and never stop praying. Pls answer mum zaynie's questions when you can. We're all here for you. |
@ahnie, chinwedym, cheerychy, its been a while o. Hope you ladies are fine? |
Peddylove:I'm not sure what result it should give. Our thread scientist rofemiguwa should be able to help you out when vigilante gives her a break |
Flourish89:Wow!!! So good to hear from you. How have you been now? How's LO and the mighty kicks? Please leave the peepers association and stop by more often. We're almost there |
Iyabetajos:The name make sense o. Sounds foreign sef ![]() |
