I'm even trying now . Because of my bleeding in first trimester, we were asked to stay away from s.ex until i've crossed the 16th week. But we still do it once in a blue moon because i feel pity for him.
I can count the number of times we've done it since the bleeding. My priority now is the baby's safety first jare. When its safe to go ahead, we will ride on becos i really really need it to open up that place sef. I still imagine how baby will pass thru when dh's kini struggles a little to go thru.

Inasmuch as you want to satisfy your dh, you have to tell him to take it easy o. One mama who unfortunately lost her baby in October still regrets why she didn't stop dh from doing it daily. She bled daily for one week and at the end lost the baby. Dr told intially to stay away from sex at the early stage. Till now she's still trying to concieve and still dey beef her dh.
Just tell am the risks and beg him to take am easy. Harmattan will soon be over
Let me tell you what i do to dh sometimes this harmattan period. When i don't want him to, immediately i notice him awake at night, i just start forming belle pain. And he'll pet me till he falls asleep.

That reminds me, one of the things I long throated when I ws on tapping and peeping mode was to join the BIP train (because i'm pregnant) . Here goes mine;

- Because i'm preggy DH now does a lot of house chores.

-BIP I get away with stinking farts ( DH used to feel disgust Wheneva I fart b4 preggy) but now he takes it all in like it's swt fragrance

My able team leader, mitchhy, for all my pregnancies, na inside EBA the routine drugs dey take get into my body. So no shaking.

I really wish i can take them with milk but i can't stand drinking normal milk. It still nauseates me. I've only tried using vitamilk soya milk and it worked. But i was skeptical about taking it every day as i wasn't sure of the effect on my baby

@all mamas, i have a weird question i've been scared of asking. But i know you all won't mock me too much. Is it okay to swallow your routine drugs with eba?
I can't stand drugs in my throat. The only one i can manage to swallow with water or drink is folic acid. As for the rest, i just put them inside eba and use soup to swallow it. Been doing this for months now. I hope the drugs will still be effective?

@tyconcepts Try and calm down and allow dh wade into the issue and make a final decision. There is this mentality we have that boys shouldn't work in the house. If they can manage to sweep, its enough. But if its a girl, they will want you to make her work. It's totally wrong. As long as he's under your roof, bil or actual brother, and he's far younger than you, you can ask him to run errands. A 20 yr old boy is still a kid, if e like make e tall reach heaven. Na all this big-boyism na dey cause wahala for our society now. That boy obviously feels he should be pampered and has no respect at all if he can decide to stop greeting you for ordinary correction.
The fact that you are his brother's wife should even make him respect you the more.
I already made an agreement with dh o that nobody, not even my own siblings can stay with us for months, because i'm not patient enough to handle any iranu.
If he cannot be taught to respect you now, we are sending an ill-mannered man into the society that will have no respect for his future wife.

I love unripe plantain. Just finished the bunch in my kitchen and i'm ready to purchase more. I don't understand why people rarely cook it. Its very tasty and nutritious. I prefer to boil it separately and eat it hot with sauce.

Wow that's sad. It was when we started accommodating strangers that my dad turned violent at the slighest issue. The strangers get preferential treatment and he can beat anyone including my mum in front of the strangers. Its so sad that you've had a terrible experience. I pray it doesn't re-occur. Its a nightmare for kids, how much more wives.

@ahnie your situation just reminded me of our home. My dad loves helping people and my mum is also accommodating. We had so many rooms in our house and because of that we always had people, mostly strangers coming to stay. Some will stay and won't make plans to leave. That was the beginning of the problems that crept into our house, to the extent that my own father drove all 7 of his kids including my mum out of the house. The story long abeg. We always had one issue or another in our once peaceful home. Now my mum regrets ever opening her home to people to stay. Today there is no single person living with my folks even tho we have 4 empty rooms. All of us see suffer. Its better not to start what might be hard to finish later on. It's good to be generous o, but most times it backfires when you allow people access into home.
Just pray over it and make a decision. If you must help, her length of stay must be defined

I don't think it is safe at all as lipton is known to be used by ladies to get rid of their pregnancy. Its best to avoid it completely during that critical stage of first trimester. Other mamas should be able to throw more light on this.

@BritneyStacy, my house was also a mess during my first trimester but i got someone to clean the house thoroughly every week. Then i got an affordable dry cleaner who takes just 3k to wash 40 clothes. While dh, helped in other areas. The phase will soon be over. You're almost there

We are in same both, I lost 15kg first trimester, gradually gaining it back. U will gradually gain urs too. In my second now. D gud part, no maternity clothes shopping, with my extended belle, my jeans still fit. So m still balling with my mini gowns and jean dem. Hehehehe

Yes, same scale was used. My feeding is far better than how it was in first trimester. I eat almost every 3hrs. I was surprised to see i lost weight today. Apart from my belle, my clothes are big in other parts of my body. My bum bum sef don dey flat. Lol
I don't know if i should be concerned about my weight or i should just eat healthy as advised and ignore.

@kaffy4bill Thank God i met you online. Is it normal for a pregnant woman to be losing weight? I lost weight during 1st trimester due to terrible MS.
My last ANC, weight was 65. Today at ANC, my weight was 63. Is this okay? Dr didn't say anything and i forgot to ask him before leaving.

Na she make me descend on my house yesterday too o. I find out say na my clothes occupy all the space for wardrobe. I got rid of half of them i haven't used for more than a year. My house is a bit free of clutter now. I go descend on the kitchen tomorrow to get rid of those yama yama foreign spices i just pack full everywhere and i nor dey use. My toaster sef reach two and i never toast bread for months now.

@tyconcepts, Before i got married when i was living alone, i had same issue. The mosquitoes are giants.
Get someone to fumigate the compound for mosquitoes specifically. I paid just 1k for that then.
Then try other insecticides like Baygon or Read a dream. When i used Read a dream, i saw the silly bloodsuckers all over the floor, dead. And the smell didn't last for long.
