Prodeegee:Wow! When i was looking for these all over Nigeria i didn't find it anywhere, now its available when my dog is away Are there tees or dresses for female dogs and can you deliver to another state? A friend needs this for his dog. |
CheeryChy:You're still in your first trimester. Tiredness, weakness, and sometimes vomitting is part of the package and referred to as morning sickness. The good thing is you are able to eat. So just eat well, rest well, and take your drugs. With time you'll feel stronger. My weakness stopped in the 13th week |
CheeryChy:Occasional headaches is actually part of pregnancy symptoms. Its best not to wait till you're hungry before eating. Hunger pangs ignites the headache, that is why it goes away after eating. I always set a reminder to make sure i eat every 2-3 hrs. If its unbearable, then you can take pcm |
spicychic847:Congrats dear |
I noticed Nigerian female rapper Eva Alordiah has ditched her low cut and is sporting a new girly look. I think she looks prettier now. What do you think? See pics below of her old look and the new look she is currently rocking and compare... Source of photos: https://www.instagram.com/p/BBVwnMOrDHs/

You forgot to add "TRAFFIGATE" ![]() |
cutienik:I'm far better now dear. The contractions finally stopped in the middle of the night. I haven't felt it again since morning. @ambient, @Zaynie, @Pocahuntaz @faithisallihave Thanks a lot for the advice. I tot a preggo mama is strong in 2nd trimester. Now i know better. I'm resting very well and the contractions have stopped. Thanks mamas ![]() |
Congrats NoQualms1. Your pregnancy really had no qualms ![]() Thank God delivery was fast. That process of checking for dilation is the most scary part of labor i don't look forward to. Please remember to join our #threadcuties when possible, let's see your beautiful baby ![]() |
cutienik:Thanks a lot dear. I wanted to check gender today too but baby's big head was facing down and legs are crossed. We couldn't see anything. Will check again in two weeks. |
BritneyStacy:Lol. I've vowed not to wash anything anymore besides my lingerie. Where i did the scan today, the lady was so upset with me. If not for Konga that failed to deliver washing machine i ordered for during their yakata sales and i got upset and cancelled, would have said bye bye to manual laundry a long time ago. I'll try and re-order again. Until then, dh will just be helping me out. I don't care if people call me lazy again o |
rezzy:Wow. I never knew the effect of standing for long was this bad. Won't let it happen again |
Thanks mamas for talking sense into me. I really needed it. @iyabetajos @DonaTee @ebonychic18 He's packing my things for the hospital this morning. I'm going for a scan first then bed rest at the hospital till it stops. Shame won't even let me confess what i did the day before the contraction started, but i just have to. I first of all did some laundry standing all through, then i walked for 20mins to buy plantain cus i didn't want to drive. On getting back, i went straight to the kitchen to make noddles and dodo with egg for breakfast. Before i finished making the meal i was already folding in pains. |
PresVA:I think you're right dear. I gave him the impression that i was very strong. I guess i was just trying to makeup for those weeks that i was hospitalised and he practically did everything. I've gone back to bed now. Will be here all day |
Iyabetajos:Thanks dear. My issue is that dh didn't take my initial complaints serious. Ever since ms stopped and i became strong, he just assumes i'm back to my old workaholic self and the worst is over. I complained of this pain to him after i overworked myself the day before and he said its good, its all part of exercise which a pregnant woman should do. He's still sleeping now and has left me to make breakfast by myself this morning despite the painful contractions |
Iyabetajos:Oh wow. I'm having same false contractions. What did the doc give to you besides the bed rest? The pain was severe yesterday and comes 2mins apart, but this morning its 5mins apart. I'm happy it has stopped for you. We'll all carry our beautiful healthy babies in our arms |
olubankemi:Okay dear. I'll ask the doctor about giving me more. He gave me only one. I have traced the cause of this to how i over stressed myself a day before. I thought i was strong enough to handle anything. Didn't know it'll lead to this. Thanks a lot |
@Juliebest @Cutienik @raptor2 Thanks a lot teamie. I'm resting now. And will continue drinking lots of water |
raptor2:I'm okay dear. Just battling with stomach pains. Hopefully it'll subside |
maureensylvia:Thanks for your response dear. I drink lots of water. My dh is even tired of changing the dispenser bottle all the time. I take up to 3 glasses with every meal. I was placed on bed rest in 1st trimester when i had bleeding. I'll try and get enough bed rest and see if it subsides. I was given a tiny pink drug to take an hr ago. Mothers dey try o |
Hello mamas. Is it possible to have contractions at 16weeks? I'm been having serious abdominal cramp since 5am. When i tried timing it, it comes every 2mins. The pain is similar to menstrual cramp and it occurs at the lower part of my tummy. The first doc i saw gave me buscopan injection but it did nothing. Finally saw my obgyn and he placed me on progesterone injection. But he asked me to wait at the hospital so he can monitor the pain to be certain its not contractions. If its actually contractions, what could have caused it? |
raptor2:So sorry mama. I knew i was missing out someone. Post modified... Hope you're fine? |
July mamas, how is everyone doing? Anyone else rocking their pregnancy glow already? Our class is the smallest but we are the mightiest. Our delivery shall be smooth and free of complications. Our BS and our cuties shall shake this thread. ![]() Roll Call: Ajuwarhodes Iyabetajos Juliebest Mitchyy Christybabe Jamesbridget13 Cutienik Raptor2 #TeamJuly NB: Registration is still open for those July mamas who are silent readers of this thread |
Jennifer89:Will you add starch and owho with snail? If you give me, i go tell you. Lol I'll ask my mum in the morning and a young mama who lives in Jakpa area and get back to you. |
Chili89:Now you're talking. Every mama's ms is unique. In my own case the water has to be blocked. You have to keep taking water in the best way you can so you don't get dehydrated. Since your vomiting is once in a blue moon, count yourself very fortunate. Just try and monitor your body and what you eat and see what triggers the nausea. Try to eat as often as you can, even tho it'll be very difficult. Identify foods that you can eat and stick to them. Since you can eat yam and oil, try unripe plantain and oil. Its healthier and contains lots of iron which is good for your baby. If possible get someone to make your meals or tie your nose with cloth when you're in the kitchen to block out the smell of spices.(I did it even tho i kept looking like a ninja turtle). Ask your doc about navidoxine(B6). It was my miracle drug that sent my ms packing when i couldn't take it anymore. Above all, smile and remember there are some mamas who wish to be in your position as long as they r pregnant. You'll be fine soon |
I really missed this thread. For the first time i have loads of pages to read up. Mamas pls let's include the Zika virus outbreak in our prayers o so it doesn't get to Nigeria. WHO has declared it a global emergency today and the major target is preggo mamas. May Jehovah keep our babies safe from any harm. I'm so scared ehn |
ambient:Hahaha. The memory is evergreen. Now i can laugh over it @chili89 Pregnacare is not made to stop MS. So switching to it might not help, but you could try. Besides the cold, what other problems are you facing? If its just cold, then you case is minor. You dont wanna know what me and other mamas faced. |
quivah:Relax girl. Isn't that a little bit too harsh? She said she is beginning to "dislike" Toolz, she didn't mention "hate". Hate is a stronger word. Just calm down okay, even tho ure upset at her 'opinion'. ![]() I personally don't like the way the media is ruining this girl's wedding with controversies. Its supposed to be a happy day |
ceminez:I'm not the owner of the pups. I was asking for my brother. He took them to the vet as recommended here |
This thread should have made frontpage a long time ago. The residents are really in fear for their lives |
Chinwendym:This boy's 'fineness' is out of this world. God just decided to bless you with the cutest baby ever... I always look forward to his pic |
ahnie:Yayyyy! I saw Zino's pic this time. She has really turned big madam ![]() |
