Do they issue certificates at the 'Computer Village' as well? Can one use that to further or secure a good job in any IT establishment?
At the field computer village students excel more than university students. How many university in Nigeria lay emphasis on practical and repairs but rather "history of computer, theories of main frame computers & co." so funny |
olaezebala: Cause the only thing you can do as a Computer Engr in 9ja is replacement. Are they expected to build a motherboard or DVD rom e.t.c? They only need to know how to troubleshoot and find the faulty part of the system and go to computer village, buy the part and replace. Simple. Is always funny when I heard that a student spends 5 years @ the university to learn computer engineering. After a whole show no practical knowledge. |

Most of the universities in Nigeria can never give you the best in computer engineering. It is better to learn computer engineering @ Computer village, Ikeja or computer engineering centers than wasting 4-5 years in higher institution. Plenty theories in university. Graduate computer engineer that can not couple ordinary Pentium 4 PC. Only what they know is REPLACEMENT |
If this one should be prosecuted timely then what happen to farouk lawan & co. who has entered into corrupted negotiations. Justice in Nigeria affects only the inferiors that know nobody. |

ABUJA — The Federal Government has spent N1.440 trillion on recurrent and capital expenditures in the last six months just as it has set up a committee made up of bankers and fuel importers to manage subsidy. These facts were disclosed, yesterday, by Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Okonjo-Iweala, while addressing newsmen in Abuja, said a committee made up of bankers and petroleum product importers had been set up to ensure accountability in the management of fuel subsidy funds, noting that payment would commence at the end of the investigation. She said: “We need to verify 2011 arrears to make sure the arrears were paid to the people that imported fuel. It is to make sure that payments are made correctly. Of the N888 billion appropriated for subsidy in 2012, N451 billion of that were arrears for 2011. It was at this point that I directed that we slow down payment to make sure that payments are genuine http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/2012-budget-n1-440trn-spent-so-far-say-okonjo-iweala/

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/okonjo-iweala-warns-of-economic-recession/ Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has warned of a difficult time ahead as she told the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja, yesterday, that “government should buckle up and prepare for a possible recession” in the economy. Her warning came on the heels of the approval of a new visa regime by the Federal Executive Council. Okonjo-Iweala, who gave the warning during the weekly meeting at the Presidential Villa cited the slide in the price of crude oil as well as the dire economic situation inSpainand Greeceas possible trigger for another round of global recess. Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, who conveyed the Minister of Finance’s warning quoted her as saying: “Nigeriamay not be so lucky to avoid recession this time as it did during the last economic meltdown and urged the Federal Government to put up measures that will help mitigate the effect of such economic melt down.” According Maku, the Coordinating Minister, however, explained that occasional delays in meeting government’s obligation to creditors was not a sign of weakness in the economy, adding: “Our economy is sound.”

Abuja – The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved a new visa policy for the country designed to boost tourism, attract foreign investment and create employment opportunities. What parameter did NCC use to measure the quality of service rendered by these operators. All these fines will fall back on users like us at the end of the whole drama. How many of the executives of NCC buy recharge cards? ...more money for satisfied group ...more burden for less privilege. Man Made Money Money Make Man Mad |
