claremont:

I think it depends on what you mean be "high-class hookers", the average going rate for decent "runs-girls" in the UK is between £99-£200/hour. That price covers a wide range of choices from Latino, European, Black British e.t.c, and they all claim to be "high-class" The "low-class" ones who hang around in the pubs may even give it to you for free after you may have engorged them with copious amount of liquor.

You are tool. 99-200 pounds is not high class.

Some people just got caught not too long ago in Manhattan for spending 10000 dolls per night on call girls. All were  wall street guys with access to money and power. Thats hi-class, not your 200 per hour romp

REALITY101:

Lmao @ Mrs. Chima. Please paste the link I wanna see.

Earlier this year I traveled to Nigeria with 5 of ma friends 3 guys 2 girls, none of us traveled with our gf's the two girls are just friends. All my American friends got free kitten left and right in Abuja , Oweeri and cross river state where went to some fun tourist location. Only cost us speaking the sexy accent they love to hear. So I wonder how these people fly to Africa just to pay millions for a kitty.

As sad as this post is, it is probably true. Nigerian girls like foreign accents, and anything foreign no matter how substandard. It doesnt matter. I think it is a black thing though. The lack of self-esteem and self -worth in us. Thats why people like foreign radio presenters in Nigeria have their way with Nigerian girls. Very unfortunate!

Politics / Wikileaks: Ghana President, Mills, Accuses OBJ Of Stealing by mitofag: 1:32am On Sep 17, 2011
President Mills in a 2008 interaction with officials from the United States embassy did not mince words in accusing a former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, of stealing from his country, an allegation he made without any basis.

A leaked US embassy cable, created on May 5 2008 with reference number 08ACCRA612 and signed by Ambassador Pamela Bridge water, made this startling revelation.

President Mills made these comments when he dined with US Ambassador Pamela Bridgewater in the company of former Ghanaian Ambassador to the United Nations and his long-time senior advisor Kofi Awoonor at the residence of the US Ambassador.

According to the cable, “Mills waxed lyrical at the behaviour of some African leaders -- Obasanjo of Nigeria received strong criticism for stealing from his country.”

Mills, however, provided no basis for his allegations, probably a concerted ploy by the NDC in the run up to the 2008 elections to accuse everyone in government of perpetuating corruption without any basis or proof.

To register his displeasure Mills stated that “if elected, I would re-name the major Accra thoroughfare President Kufuor named Olesegun Obasanjo Way.”

President Mills then charged on South African, neighbour's of Zimbabwe, for their non-involvement in the affairs of Zimbabwe, or better still for adopting the mantra “Dzi wo fie asem”, a slogan Mills hypocritically adopted during the Ivorian crisis.

President Mills was perplexed by the inaction exhibited by Zimbabwe's neighbours in opting not to “put pressure on President Robert Mugabe to leave office” after the latter clung on to power in an election which the international community deemed he had lost.

Surprisingly, President Mills then attacked opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai describing him as not being a viable alternative, one who cannot be trusted and a man who lacks credibility. He then went on to propose that “someone else must be selected soon to lead Zimbabwe”.

In a show of love and warming himself towards his American hostess, President Mills noted that "Americans are my greatest friends" and signed off with a broad smile.

Politics / UBS Trader's Arrest Stuns Family by mitofag: 11:43pm On Sep 16, 2011
By PETER WONACOTT

The father of Kweku Adoboli, the trader accused of losing $2 billion in unauthorized bets at UBS AG, said his son lived a frugal life—even refusing a suggestion one time to buy a car because he didn't want to pay for parking.

"We are not flamboyant. That is not how we are," said John Adoboli, 63 years old. "We are simple people."

The younger Mr. Adoboli, 31, was arrested early Thursday in London after UBS contacted police and accused its trader of fraud. On Friday, he was formally charged with the fraud. The disclosure of the massive losses has renewed scrutiny of the Swiss bank's risk controls.

Associated Press
Kweku Adoboli, second from left, walks to be taken away in a security van after appearing at the City of London Magistrates Court in London Friday.

In a telephone interview from Ghana, the elder Mr. Adoboli said he first heard of his son's arrest later Thursday, after his son's girlfriend called from London. The news jolted the family and stunned his father, who often asked his son to return to Ghana and "offer his services" to the fast-growing west African country.

His son wasn't ready to leave UBS, though.

"It was stressful, but he said he was enjoying work," recalled Mr. Adoboli of their phone conversations. "Sometimes I would call before I went to bed and he would say: 'Daddy, I'm still at work.'"

Mr. Adoboli hasn't spoken to his son since Thursday's arrest—the calls just go to voice mail. The father said he plans to travel to London next week and try to meet with his son and hear his story.

"I feel bad. Our name is now everywhere in the world. I go to the Internet…" His voice catches. "We are devastated. We are shattered."

Bad Bets, Big Losses

Mr. Adoboli, who retired a few years ago as a personnel officer in the United Nations peacekeeping operations, said the family left Ghana when his son was four years old. A succession of foreign posts followed, including Israel, Iraq and Cambodia.

In an effort to bring some stability to his 12-year-old son's life, they enrolled Kweku in a Quaker boarding school, called Ackworth. Mr. Adoboli said his son excelled in soccer and studies, and at one point, was named "head boy."

His Ghanaian father received such reports with pride. "He was head boy among a lot of white boys."

Kweku went on to attend Nottingham University, and was hired as an intern at UBS after a recruiter from the investment bank visited the campus. Upon graduating in 2003, the younger Mr. Adoboli returned to UBS, his father said.

Mr. Adoboli said he didn't know much about what Kweku did at the bank, but that his son was elated when he shifted into a new role as a trader from supporting operations, so he assumed it was a promotion. He suggested his son buy a car, but Kweku said he enjoyed riding his bike for the exercise and abhorred parking fees.

Given their respective jobs, father and son were rarely in the same place. But after he retired from the U.N., Mr. Adoboli appealed for his son to return to Ghana and help his home country. "He was acquiring a lot of training, and I asked him to come back home and use it. He said: 'Not yet.'"

^^^

The point of this thread, seems you dont know, is to discuss the constitutionality of Oshiomole's actions. Whether democracy is good or not is a different matter entirely. What we have operating in Nigeria is democracy and the governor acted illegally by ordering his aides to arrest the man and lock him up in his private cell. That is illegal and not justice. Injustice to one, is injustice to all. If the governor has issues with how the man was doing his job, he could have fired him and asked his DA to prosecute. No matter how grievous his offense, he still should have been accorded his basic human rights. After all, sulum mereo mereor suum dies in villa. That is to say, in English, everyone deserves their day in court.

Thats why I hate bantering with home based Nigerians, most of you guys lack basic comprehension skills. And to analyze, that one na another mata entirely.

Not doing your job well is never a reason to arrest people.

This is autocracy, not democracy. The problem here is that you actually think you have a point, you dont. You dont know what democracy is about. The governor cant go around ordering his aides to arrest people and put them in his private cells. It is abuse of power. If we dont cry out now, one day, it will be your turn and no one would be here to save you. What is right is right!
Politics / Re: Ijaws Attack Binis Over Ownership Of Gelegele Land In Edo State by mitofag: 4:17pm On Sep 16, 2011

3. There are a lot of quotes from eyewitnesses describing the level of development in Benin. It is a fact that Portuguese explorers compared Benin city with Lisbon, Dutch writers compared Benin with Amsterdam and Antwerp, Italians visitors with Florence, and Spanish visitors with Madrid. A Dutch account claimed the palace alone was as large as the Dutch city of Haarlem, and a German account (1603) said the palace complex alone was as large as an entire German city (Tübingen). It's too late to reduce Benin to a level beneath what it occupied historically.

Indeed!

@Fagamighty

Hey I couldnt respond well because when I saw your post I was just coming out from having helped remove someone's "kidinri" and I needed to help push the unfortunate patient to the PACU for recovery.

Anyway, talking about dimwits .    .    .  a failure like you who couldnt cut it at common, ordinary OAU calling me a dimwit? Are you okay? You do know that at 14, I was already at home idle, having spent the better part of the previous 4 years in boarding house. At 15, I was the only guy on my street walking around, at times mastur/-bating to po/r/n-o, and on some occasions sneeking out to go phock "ashawos", with condom of course, sometimes grin  because I was already done with SSCE and I had nothing else to do. No job and no chores to do because my parents were so proud of me, they decided to not bother this  awesome "arole Odua" with unnecessary house chores.  grin Lil wonder I am so spoilt and morally depraved. cool I love pucccy I no go lie and the older the better. wink Those Ibo girls used to collect my money and have me self-service to their bosoms and send me away, but I learnt my lessons and now i am the better for it.

Now Mr. Sagamoron, what were you doing at 14? Still trying to learn the meaning of your trademark words ( cretin, reeeetarddd, Moronnn, dimwitss)? or busy perfecting your I am an Oxford grad lie?  Or you think we forgot how in your early days on NL you go about telling people how you got accepted to Oxford to read law when in fact you were dismissed from OAU?  grin

That said, Sagacretin, I understand your plight. I may not really understand it truly since I dont know what it is  like to fail out of OAU. After all, my record at OAU stands unblemished, admitted,  spent some semesters then moved to obodo-oyinbo. Those days , I love'em. I always thought everyone was like me: smart, handsome, respectful and humble. Untill I got to NL and I saw dimwits like you going around bragging about what you wish you were. SMH. I know it sucks to be you. And what sucks more than that is that you actually have people here looking up to you for answers.  You may be tired of the straight line after spending years studying with nothing to show, besides a "C" in mathematics in your SSCE grin and a dismissal from OAU for academic difficulty.  So much for the self labelled Intellectual osoronga. grin

It is  unfortunate for you that everywhere you turn there are  exams and tests. And  you keep falling short of the kind of person you want to be. You keep on building the lie. That you make up for all that you lack. Hey Buddy, It doesnt make any difference. I know it is It’s easier for you to to believe in all these lies you made up for yourself, be rest assured that I will always be here to remind you of the  glorious sadness from your past  that brings you to your knees grin Yeah, it is the schadenfreude tendencies in me. I cant help it grin

Fagacretin my friend, to continue with my story, which as you can tell is straight from the heart. I am not one who reinvents himself overseas when he  couldnt cut it in Nigeria. BTW, who gets a "C" in WAEC maths and then come to NL, with gusto, to claim some stupiddddd " intellectual god." grin Are you that insecure that you have to come online to prove yourself  and claim what you couldnt achieve in real life. Are you that damaged gay-A-BABOON? grin

Anyway, I need to go write my notes. Bye
