I agree with the person that said that when two people fight, the grass suffers. Our government needs a fight. Ghadaffi visited USA and told them that he is no more into nuclear reactor activities, showing that he wanted the support of the US government. Is that not seen as a sign of loyality to the US? Yet, the "rebels" (freedom fighters) are fighting against him.

So wat is my point? Our governement is seen to always lick the Bottom of american governemnt, selling our oil to them at cheap prices and thereby generating insufficient funds for the country. Even you and I reason more than the government. We should bring the governemnt down and show them their unclothedness.

To me, Boko Haram is our freedom fighter.

It doesnt matter what you do, the most important thing is the intention. When you are bleeding, the first thing is to stop further blood loss, Anyhow possible.

OBJ has made a great effort in that.  he has used his political influence in trying to stop further blood shed from what is obviously politically orchestrated terroristic acts.

Soyinka should mind his business, and let people with practical ideas to do what is necessary to save  further loss of lives.


When he was at FRSC, he  failed woefully. Ordinary FRSC, Soyinka could not manage, and he is here criticizing a two-time president who was willing and is still willing to   die so the rest of us may live.

Lastly: It was Benjamin Franklin who said, "any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Fools like Soyinka only criticize and condemn in order to try to feel superior to the one they're condemning. Not only does it take character to be understanding and forgiving, but it also takes the desire and will to do so. It's a kind of enlightenment when one comes to these realizations.

Lets be frank, You cannot compare Soyinka with OBJ. OBJ was willing to die for Nigeria. I respect that. Soyinka did everything he did for his personal recognition and self-aggrandizement. It was never for the greater good.

Very stupidd criticism on his part, and pointless too.

Also I appreciate your boldness, but you are a man and it is expected from you to be just that and people appreciate and admire bold men.  As a woman on a personal side and as a woman on a business side - my approach has to be much more humble - I need to restrain myself - because I just never know who will be my next client and also if my guy and I don't work out - I could be offending someone who God might have picked out to be my next mate or inlaw or even a neighbor - I could very well move into a home and the person I offended on NL or anywhere else on my daily route could be my new neighbor.

This is a very, very small world and men have it much easier than women.  They just do - people are more understanding and more forgiving of men then they are of women.

Those that you offend today could be the very soul that you rely on tomorrow.  And that is real talk.
