what type of application are u applying for ? if it is visit visa; i would reckon it is not needed because they seem to get the visit visa sorted very fast on or before 15 days.

I got a mail from visainfo, sheffield, that a decision has been made on my application and that it will be available for. collection at the center where I submitted 3-5 days after receipt of the mail. But it's 5days today and I haven't gotten any mail from teleperformance neither has my application been updated on their site. What do you guys advise I do? I submitted in V.i. Should I just go there and check or keep waiting for a mail from telepermance? Has anyone experienced this before? Pls help me out

I was in dat same situation too about 3 weeks ago. Since today is d 5th day, its likely u get an email from teleperformance before d end of today and also be able to pick it up tomorow or d day after but likely tomorow. I know dat feeling of been anxious about d email and outcome. All d best.

Refusals can be frustrating like you said, sorry about this. But your account balance which you stated in another post is okay. Unfortunately they may not have thought you were convincing enough, hence the refusal. Is this your first time of applying?

I would like to reapply as I want to attend my brother's graduation on the 20th of this month. I would be stating my dad as the sponsor of the trip and attach his bank statement without attaching mine. Kindly advice if this is okay.

Same story I was given. I run my own business and d income is quite ok. So dey expect to see d amount dat I stated as my monthly income to reflect in my statement of account wen u cant even predict wat sales will be like at d end of d month sometimes.

OGreene, sorry for d refusal. Mine too was processed in Sheffiled after waiting for dis whole weeks that was how i got a surprise refusal pack too yesterday with all d document i submitted. The reason given was just so unbelivable dat d money stated as my income does not reflect on my bank statement. Dat was d only reason ooo wit all d supporting document i sent. Na my invitee go take care of d feeding and accommodating mine is just to pay for my flight which is just small change to d balance in my account. Its really annoying and frustrating.

Hello Justwise, I got my passport back today and was refused but I noticed dat my passport wasnt stamped for refusal. Please, wat does dat mean? I checked all my passport page but no refusal stamp on it except d previous one.

PLEASE AM TRYING TO FILL ONLINE VISA APPLICATION FOR A FRIEND BUT I saw this " Please note from 11th May you will need to pay an additional fee of £59 (approximately 18,000 Naira) to use the application centre at Ikeja. This will be collected on-line at the same time as the visa fee".

Is it any other Centre one can apply without paying this additional fee.

You can use the Victoria Island centre. You only need to pay the visa fee.

Correct it on the printout and make a note attach to your application. I understand that one can not edit the online form after submission, so all you can do is to close the Yes and tick No then use extra paper or sticky note to explain the mistake.

I understand your concern but what you need to do is to select No and use the additional info page to state that you will be staying with your friend who sent you the IV.

Please, I was refused a visa about few weeks ago based on the point that I didnt explain wat and were I will be visiting and dat I also didnt explain d inflow of huge cash in my savings account ( I do dis contribution/ajo but dont av any docs as backup) and dat I state dat I do get certain amount at d end of d month but it doesnt reflect in my account as per d amount. I own my business and also do av a business account. I started running d business just last year January so I dont av any tax clearance yet. The only docs I have is my Business Registration Cert, my passport( has a US Visa on it not used yet) and my SOA.
My area of concern is dis, I was sent an invitation from a friend, I do have about 950k in my account and am sponsoring myself for d trip but my friend will take care of both d accommodation and feeding. Am scheduled for an appointment for next week but on d form der is a part dat states " If someone other than myself is paying for all or any part of the visit and how much will they give" PLS IS IT A YES OR A NO because am really confuse and how can I correct the mistake am yet to print d application out. Please, kindly help a sister. Wudnt want to be refused again. Are der any chances of refusal. I already explained in d additional info dat I deal with direct cash from clients and do deposit in my account and also explained d places I will be visiting.

Hello, pls I really need ur help. I do have an irregular periods so I went for a test and was told I had an hormonal inbalance and was treated. But d issue now is, I had my last period on the 17th of April which usually last maximum of 2 days and had an unprotected sex on the 7th of May but took Postinor2 some hours later. hello everyone Pls I am applying for a four months course starting in March 2014 in the uk, london precisely and I already contacted the school. I was told that I will pay a 50% deposit which is non refundable and will be sent a confirmation letter and can apply for a student visitor visa as soon as I get the letter. My concern now is that I am self employed just started recently and my parent are my sponsors, Pls do I have any chances of been given a visa and how do I go about the documents needed since am self employed. And Pls how long does it take to get a student visitor visa.
