Let her keep praying for the patience to wait it out..we all know how these things turn out at the end most times

All ur advice now will probably fall on deaf ears..you know more like the biblical stony ground-at first it feels like she has taken the advice but she hasn't and still goes back to him. Till she's fed up and she makes up her mind that she's done (probably after a major injury), there's really nothing you can do.

Bayelsa State again!!

Considering the population and land mass of bayelsa state, it should be about the richest state in Nigeria. However, the people of Bayelsa are about the poorest and they live in pitiable squalor and backwardness. With the low population and the little land mass, developing a state like Bayelsa shouldn't be too difficult if only their leaders were not diabolically incompetent and focusless.

Not long ago, we had the saga of the over N24billion Bayelsan Government House named “The Glory Land Castle” which was touted to be the most expensive in the country. The edifice was ridiculously expensive that even the present governor Dickson forbade himself from living in it and we thought he was being reasonable. I believe the “Glory Land Castle” still remains vacant presently but the 'saintly' gov Dickson has just splashed even larger funds (N33billion) on a new government office. How did these BASTARDS even become our leaders?

Below is a report on what they called "The Unsuitable Government House". Gov. Dickson complained that the edifice was too expensive and for that reason, has decided to build a more modest edifice albeit at a higher cost.

Does Bayelsa state have a world class hospital?.. Does the state have world class schools or even roads?... The only thing Niger-Delta governors think of is "world class government houses" which serves one man. Every governor wants to build a government house and they would tout it as an achievement.

With the accruing oil revenue, a state like Bayelsa has no excuse to be undeveloped. I really pity the poor people in the Niger-Delta areas if true federalism and full resource control is granted.

It baffles me how he conveniently leased out the jet in August 2014 for other business, back then he said owning a standby private jet was a necessity and not a luxury for him, he can move around easier and faster etc.. what if a christian emergency (excuse my English) comes during the period its out on lease because I believe God's work cannot be predicted, it can take one anywhere and at anytime, how does he move or will he arrange it so that there'll be no trips till the jet comes back?

Kudos to all those super dads all over the world who made (or are still making) things work for their children in whichever way possible..I miss mine

I don't like laminating too but I had to ask someone to do it for me when the grades and subjects in my WAEC certificate started wiping off, its not as if I use it all the time so overuse isn't the issue. If they want to stop lamination, then relevant bodies should try to make our documents more durable.
