Jobs/Vacancies › Re: My Disastrous Banking Job Interview On The 5th Of October 2015 by mjames: 9:15am On Oct 07, 2015 |
Valendo: It baffles me why our graduates like to waste their precious time. Why is it that people don't struggle to set up a business or a system that can give them a lot of money. Listen my brother formal education will give you a cheque while self education will earn you a fortune. Stop wasting your time, not even for a job you can be sacked at any time. There are numerous opportunities out there that can make you rich and certainly its not paid employment. So please my dear brothers and sisters think beyond this contract job. One problem I know majority of our youth face today is this "quick rich" thing. Believe me if you can think very well you will understand that its only a matter of time, you will say thank God you were not given any employment letter because most of the jobs out there are total slavery. I have ideas that can make you rich. Feel free to ask me. All of us can do better than this please. I look forward to a day banks will start begging people to work for them. This is possible if only we could think outside the box. Am interested in your ideas. my e-mail- abudu73@gmail.com |
Phones › Re: Why is Wifi Not Efficient In Nigeria by mjames: 6:52pm On Oct 04, 2015 |
LordReed: "In Abroad" Wifi is also serviced by network providers, the reason it is "free" is because once you are a subscriber on their network they give you a password which you can use on their own Wifi hotspots. The ones in hospitals and other places like that are done to either attract customers or to keep you entertained while you wait for service.
On the subject of efficiency of wifi, you are not correct. Wifi has the same limitation the world over. First limitation is transmission power, for your phone to receive wifi signals like it would receive 3g signals would require broadcast strengths in excess of currently allowed transmission power for wifi so anyone using wifi has to transmit at low power which limits the Effective distance to less than 200m in a crowded space or about 300-800m in a less crowded space. This means to cover the same ground you need more transmitters which leads to the second limitation, power. You need electrical power to power your transmitters and you need a place to put them, who will pay for that? And in Nigeria where power is a big challenge who is going to put generators in 20 places that are offering free WiFi? My last point is cost of data. Data is still relatively expensive here in Nigeria so no provider can output the amount of free data you'd get abroad.
A quick footnote, stop comparing the days of wap sites to the multimedia website of today. The days of wap were a website was measured in kb is gone these days with pictures and video dominating as means of info exchange websites are a thousand times more heavy. If you don't want the load use Opera mini and turn off images simple. Good piece I must confess |
