When u believe too much in these things, u start losing ur mind. Op shld go for a psychiatric evaluation |
See, everyone knows that buying a brand new car is always better but if you consider the price difference, buying a tokunbo car may be very well worth it. I know people who also bought brand new cars and had issues in less than 2 years just as I know people who bought tokunbo and used it for 4 years without issues. When you're buying a tokunbo car, buy one in very good condition and with low mileage and have it at the back of your Mind that you may have to replace one or two things usually battery, tyres, and a few other things. |
how much? |
Driving depends largely on how confident you are on your own abilities, among many other factors. The fact that you are having second thoughts suggests that you are not ready and may lack the confidence to fully be in charge. Yes, u can still undertake the trip but go with an experienced driver. He will watch you drive and take over from you when the road becomes busy or when you get tired. Also, ensure you do not exceed 80/100kmph. At this rate, you will find it easy to control the car. Good luck. n.b- I am amused that your empty headed friends are not worried for their own safety.Lol |
Used 2004 BMW for 1,650,000? i think u need to enter the market and find out how these cars sell now. |

U must be a joker.. thats not an EX. Its a V6 |
please, before I forget..I beg you all, do not say because you have been bankers you must remain in white collar jobs or do white collar businesses like some rubbish consultancy nonsense that will impoverish you in a few months. In Nigeria, what sells is consumables..things that people CANNOT do without. Take a look at some illiterate businessmen around you..Artisans, traders, farmers..see the one whose business appeal to you based on how succesful he is apart from other factors..go into it, then brand yours in a good way..Add your bank knowledge and education to give it class..do correct marketing like you were busy doing for fidelity bank and I tell u, its only one way your business will go...UP! For example..what stops an ex banker from setting up a classy buka in a densely populated area? bring in local women who hv the experience of buka cooking. ensure dat unlike d local bukas around, yours is extremely neat while being price-competitive...Whats stops an ex banker from setting up a mechanic workshop? bring in very good mechanics..put them on salary + commision. buy diagnostic equipment, set up an oven for spraying, get wheel balancing and alignment equip..give d place a Behind name..when a car comes, it must be registered in some fancy office (packaging Noni) market your banker friends to start bringing their cars, ensure your mechanics are professional in their interactns with customers..ensure customers are never disapointed..give "money back if youre not satisfied options"......so many things you can do brothers and sisters..pls dont look for another job. Think deep...YES YOU CAN!! |
Ganjafama: There is this guy in my area who was among the oceanic bank staff who lost their job 2 years ago. Till today the guy is still jobless. Things are so tough for him dat he goes about working in construction sites just to feed his family of 2 kids and a wife. To tell u guys the truth, I have lost faith in this goddamn country.Ok. I was also affected 2 years ago but unlike your friend, I have grown to become one of the Top 10 customers of my former branch. I didnt take another job but went into business. Today all my former ogas who are still in service call me to "show them the way". So pls dont discourage pple with negative stories. When things like this happen to you, dont panic, Look at your strengths and weaknesses, seek more knowledge about various businesses you may try, strategise..If you dont have enough cash, you may call in some other sacked colleague of yours, discuss, see the possibility of putting together resources then move forward. I pray the stories of the sacked Fidelity guys will end up like mine. Stay positive, guys. Best of luck |
Na wah for some people o. U just comment on someone's thread s.tupidly. How does an 06/07 Accord (discussion continue)look like dis. |

whats d mileage. 2.2m serious buyer. cash on ground |
your friend will regret the day the thought crossed his mind to resign. I am an ex banker. As i type this I have at least ten close friends who left their jobs to go for masters in d UK. you just need to see them now. very pathetic. Very sad cases...pls show your friend this message. his chances of "not regretting" the move, is one out of ten. |
if this topic was "Imam confesses to stealing Ipad"......we would have seen horrible posts directed at Islam as a whole. Is that fair? Is Inciting now part of christianity? Is it ok to always generalise? I leave you to judge yourselves... |
2.3m serious buyer |
Good evening all Pls I need info on U.K. hotels I can book online that will not demand that I pay now. I intended to apply for a tourist visa soon. Thank u |
Word from Saudi Arabia indicates that this year's fasting will be 30. Eid will be Sunday and not Saturday as expected |
Immediately I read the SUV part in the opening post, I knew "nairalanders would murder this guy". I am not disappointed. Looooool. |
So, what's d big deal? Very cheap and NFF deserves commendation. MRI isn't typhoid test o. Two years ago I paid about 200k for an investigation at a government hospital. Just one patient |

The car is cool but the engine parts are expensive. Only last week changed power steering pump( Belgium) for 30k. And I don't know why the brake pads require constant replacing. But performance wise, it's a great car that u'l really really enjoy |
How do u mean 2005? Why mislead? |
