if u have a bluetooth + wireless, u would be asked to select between the blueethooth, wireless or lan, select the one of ur choice, if u are using wireless, create an adhoc connection in your wireless profile. that would do the job. make sure the clients are on obtain ip addy automatically. this would do the job

i found the solution. SP2 has an enhanced TCP/IP stack, and that WINSOCK fix is not right for SP2. The proper fix for XP-SP2 is as follows:

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2.

For these commands, Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log

I do alot of large transactions with my atm both online and interfaced with the machine so i think i am interested in knowing how someone can hack my atm and take my money. It would be a disaster you know.

Maybe you should let us know how this is done because to the best of my knowledge, your pin no is not stored on your card, the only information found on the magnetic strip on your card is the card no, expiry date, bank information, like the name of the bank,

So, when you put in this card into the machine to get money, there is a communication transfer and the information is transfered bla bla bla.

So when you misplace your card, and someone tells me they hack into the magnetic strip of the card, that's blanctant nonsense.

# someone copys it from you while loging it

this is what makes the case unique. The system indicates that the system is connected to the internet, infact i tried to ping www.google.com and there was reply, and very good reply to add to that. so this shows basically that the system is connected, and remember i said, automatic windows update could run and update on the system. So i wonder what the issue is. I would have said its a browser issue but i installed mozilla and opera and both of them are not browsing either. Thanks for your continued replies

I was met by a friend who has a big challenge in his relationship. He met me for advice and after considering all he told me and hearing from the lady involved, i asked him to give me sometime to think and to throw it open to the house.

They have been dating for two years and at a point in time, exactly one year and some days ago, he had a romantic affair with a girl in his girlfriends visinity. This did not lead to sex but the kissed and touched. Out of guilt, he told his chick about it and of course, all hell let loose and this caused a serious crack in the relationship, for about 2 weeks to one month (the one i knew of) the were apart.

Now the girl never trusts the guy and any time shee sees him with another girl, issue. Sometime in february, they broke up (the girls idea) but were still friends (the guys idea). I advised the guy to take her out and spend real time on her and make her feel him like mad, he did this and the girl got the hit so hard she kissed him on that outing. Yesterday night i got a call from the guy saying the girl asked him never to talk to her again and not even talk to any member of her family either. What happened is asked, he said one thing led to another and the talk of a girl he slept with back in his university days (they went to the same university) surface again in the neighbourhood as a neighbour. She (his chick) got angry he never told her of the incidence since the girl moved in almost a year ago, and she started suspecting the guy has been re-laying the girl.

After a heated arguement she walked out, the guy gets up and walks to another girl ( a neighbour) the girl sees his bad mood and starts touching the guys cheek, the girlfriend returns into the scene, sees the entire thing and redecides, the guy should never talk, call or see her again.

the guy still loves this girl but from my point of view things have gone sour. What can he do? 2 years is serious business. Experts please talk

I have an opportunity of handling so many types of laptops and i have come to the conclusion that the pentiums are better than the AMDs especially when running high end processor intensive programs. One of my programs when run on an AMD, usually almost freezes the system, but the same software on a pentium system does quite beautifully. Here im comparing AMD turion2 with Intel Core 2DUO. The difference is very clear. But for the everyday compuetr users (check your mail and type a memo) the are the same.

i installed kaspersky on my computer and it detected a series of viruses but the problem now is that the damage caused by the virus is now permanent. For example, the run menu has disapeared and i cant call it back. Pls does any one have an idea of how to remove it?

like i said before, change your cd rom drive. Alternatively remove the hdd from the system and load it load the windows to it from another system. Then you place the hdd back. There is no big deal here for you to fret your head over MAN!!!
