I'm not too concerned about the current fraud by, surprisingly, a known serial fraudstar. Rather my concern is about 'future or yet-to-be perpetuated fraud'.

I joined this platform in 2019 and I only knew about all these after you shared the history here for several days. I read the details word for word and did my own research.

It was amazing to me that a well known vendor that I contacted here for a job confirmed all what you said but chose to keep shut. Some people are wicked in this life.

Now, what about those that are yet to join this platform?, the truth is most of them won't know. The warnings you gave are several pages behind, and that is probably why the number of victims of fraud by the same fraudstar and his accomplices will continue.

When there is no moderator, the place becomes a 'den of thieves'.

If the moderator isn't active, he should be made to or replaced.

For the first time I visited 'business section' yesterday and I was pleased with what the moderator did there. Something similar or even better should be replicated here.

Your post gladdens my heart because my campaign is primarily for the newbies who have no idea what they are walking into with N3xt. When we are our brother’s keeper, God has a way of blessing us and making sure our own harvest is protected from locusts. It’s easy to feel smug and complacent because we know N3xt for whom he is and we won’t do business with him. Yet how about that other money venture where you’re talking with someone like N3xt and people in the know do not say a word of warning to you? You walk in and lose money and forget that was the same thing you aided with your silence on this thread. What goes around comes around, soro soke!

Happy new year, posters and readers of this thread. My prayer is for greater heights and I have found that the secret to acquiring wealth is to have integrity and do honest labor. Any “gains” that come from fraudulently obtaining money from others will always be fleeting because God cannot be mocked, we reap what we sow . N3xt has been on this journey for more than 10 years now with constant stories about the projects he has done and is doing yet I can bet that actual INCREASE has been negligible and that is why the merry go round continues. If fraud came with permanent rewards, we wouldn’t still be talking about him like this in 2021.

I realize that Naija continues to be tougher and the yahoo mindset has almost taken over the land, starting with our polithiefians. Do not let that distract you. Lastly, many people think I am male. No, I am a wife, a mother, an employee and many other things with a passionate dislike for fraud, especially when it comes to those that work for their money.

Contrary to allusions that have been made, I have never done business with N3xt nor anyone here for that matter. Even though we can boast of property at home and abroad, my husband and I are not real estate investors. My passion is the American stock exchange specifically the NYSE, the NASDAQ. I understand it, we have been blessed in it and continue to be blessed in it so my presence here is not about doing business but I am bothered by the amount of money that is easily lost to fraudsters. It’s not my money but that doesn’t mean I should keep quiet. Hopefully, 2022 is a better year with a lot less fraud and drama.

In case anyone is wondering, I can’t say I’ve ever been defrauded because the Nigerian guy that tried it many years ago with I think it was $12k-13k called me himself to arrange immediate return after what he went through with me. Scamming has now become a thriving enterprise with the blessing of parents and elders. It’s disappointing and sad because these people really believe they can get away with it without a scratch.

I can confidently say that no one that scammed me will enjoy the loot because it’s not possible. The first person that ever scammed me years ago used his mouth to call me to say he was returning the over $10k. You cannot fraudulently obtain from me without the money creating a hole in your pocket and taking away what is already there. I don’t steal from people and I don’t cheat people. I am content with what I legitimately make, temi to mi, so you cannot make progress by defrauding me.

It’s unfortunate that fraudsters have taken over everywhere on this site.

We are laughing over this matter because we haven't lost money to a vendor.

The problem is if I were to create a thread today, it would drown and remain in the background, no one would know about it. The first step is an active moderator to create a stickied (like this one) thread and maintain that thread. Once it’s stickied to the first page of this section, you can’t miss it. Preferably, 2 moderators for a section like this with so much money flowing through so that the moderation is active at all times and not abandoned as is the case with lawyer.

There’s nothing stopping active members of this section from pushing for a functional moderator to restore sanity here. There are enough members whom I assume would be credible candidates for the post(s). Off the top of my head, there are a few I would recommend from this thread but in the end, folks have to be ready to lobby Seun or the supermods or whomever the big honcho is that can appoint a moderator(s).

Mods like Justwise from travel and Tabbaz, the mod from the business section have active, tenured experience in moderation and clamping down on fraudsters. They would be great candidates if they have the capacity to add to their current sections.

I find it heartbreaking that one man has continued to do this for over 10 years and it’s only a matter of time before another victim shows up.

You and I know Naija courts are a joke. You only end up spending a ton more and there’s no enforcement of the judgment unless you are talking billions and even that still takes years. Add that to the corrupt judiciary and police, it’s just throwing good money after bad so simply put, it’s not a viable solution, only sounds reasonable in theory. N3xt is fully aware of this loophole.

The scammers’ list has worked quite well in the business section despite how comparatively lower their scams are in naira value. The scammers list is not a court judgment but it’s an alert to warn intending spenders. You don’t even need to name it “scammers” call it a warning list, an alert list, caveat emptor list , etc, etc but at least, have something stickied to provide warning. With that, intending spenders, new and old, at least, have a database to refer to and we can then refer them to it if they come on here.

I’m bothered that somehow went ahead with n3xt despite knowing his history and I still can’t fathom why the QS would even recommend someone with such a reputation but my church mind reminds me that even Jesus forgave us all our sins. In the end, we cannot fault the kindness of someone who gives a disreputable person a chance, aggravating as it is.

A few months ago, I echoed the need for an active Moderator(s). I don’t know how a section that records hundreds of millions in naira can have no active moderation.

I understand your frustration but I think empathy for our fellow men/women is more important that the convenience to enjoy the thread without N3xt’s unending interludes. This is the only thread where anyone would even come close to learning about the atrocities and it is important that these stories are documented.

Start a campaign for a scammers’ list so that N3xt and all others can be properly recognized. Then it would make sense for victims to create separate threads which would be linked to the entry on the scammers’ list. Without that scammers’ list, there is no other thread that even comes close.

In my line of business, you most times end up being a victim of fraud either by people selling stolen funds to you unknown to you, using your account details to perpetuate fraud or impersonating you.

You can contact any of the fellow victims in what you dug out to find out how the issues got resolved.

I obviously didn't get to know on time until months later. (More to do with being a novice in that line of business).

But as a responsible person I strive to be, and to protect my name, i reached out to all of them just to clear my name since my name was the only traceable contact left online by the perpetuators.

If you understand how being a digital currency merchant work, then you'd know why I became a target then.

I have reached out to the mod in that section to shed more light on this. That list is current so if your name should not be there, it stands to reason that you should have asked for it to be removed. I will update here when I hear back.

Tip - your post is not salacious enough, you need to go all out . Add more pepper and salt eg shebi it was just #200 and that was after I borrowed #10k from her. Make it sensational, add some color to your existence. Go big or go home!
