2nd mention in as many weeks from my posts on this thread but I see it’s the same old arguments with some hocus pocus thrown into the mix this time around. @ 1Sharon Good of you to be so generous with your time. At first, I wondered why you bothered and then I remembered how it was at the beginning of this thread. If it wasn’t for the people that refused to be silenced, the narrative was in danger of being falsified by the supporters. I have come to expect that we will continue to see those who show up to defend/excuse/rationalize Adedoja’s actions, much like we will continue to see those that are incapable of reading and/or understanding all the pages. It is what it is. |
OP is a classic example of a US-based Nigerian playing with career fire and when they are burnt, they start shouting racism. Almost all big US organizations have a social media policy that includes employees’ online posts, whether or not they are using the company’s device. I can guarantee that misogynist, incel posts such as his would not pass muster and could get him into very serious trouble, up to and including termination. . . . . . and yes, I speak authoritatively on the subject because it is what I know. He has revealed enough about himself, his life and his location that anyone who wanted to deal with him seriously could forward his post history to his employer(s) and light a fire under him. Oooops! Too late to modify everything now ![]() A lot of you come on Nairaland to air nonsense to the ignorant, thinking you are perfectly anonymous. Such a thoroughly disgusting post history ![]() |
Sigh! Here I was thinking we would cruise into 2023 with no more drama. I saw this yesterday but after going through some of the Engineer’s post history, I felt it prudent to wait before posting and I’m glad I did. The relationship was based on a lot of mistrust from the beginning and on both sides , which begs the question “why did you both agree to do business in the first place?” Up till now, it’s not clear what the agreement was with regards to a payment schedule and at what stage of the job. The contract terms is what determines whether or not there’s a breach. Best wishes to you both. I’m sure contractors have noted the customer’s moniker and clients have noted the contractor’s moniker ![]() Ireeee o! |
The company of my family and good food. |
At the minimum, you should return the money you’ve been taking from Tom but you said that’s not an option. You already suspect that Tom will release your nudes but you don’t want to deactivate your social media accounts because of the followership you’ve built. You claim to love Jerry but here you are, hiding the extent of your involvement with Tom and the financial benefits which you’ve been receiving for years and which you continue to receive. You sound like a completely selfish person whose beginning and end is 100% self-interest. Even now, you don’t have any remorse for how you’ve treated both men. You’re simply concerned about saving your skin with zero restitution. It’s common in situations like yours for everything to implode and for your worst nightmares to come true- you lose Jerry, you have a vengeful Tom come after you and maybe your nudes are spread to your followers. When you are able to set yourself aside for a moment and put yourself in the shoes of those men, you will gain strength to do what your conscience is telling you. |
olukaygold:Haba! Haba! Haba! This is so uncalled for. Your language is extremely inappropriate. We can agree to disagree, there was absolutely no reason to talk to him like that. Very disrespectful and you owe him an apology. |
Congratulations, Money121. This time last year, it was all about N3xt and his drama. Thank God we are not ending this year with another mega drama (knock on wood). It would be nice to see customers praise the contractors/ suppliers that have impressed them this year so that it’s not about the negative all the time. It’s a good time of year to acknowledge and celebrate those that delivered as promised. For those that are travelling, we pray for journey mercies, to and fro. 2022 might have been rough but as long as there is life and there is health, there is hope. 2023 is another year. Life is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. It goes up and it goes down. If you have food on your table and people that love you, never take any of it for granted. That is the prayer a lot of people pray daily. For everyone you aspire to be like, there are others that are aspiring to get to your stage. You might not yet be where you want to be but you’re not where you used to be. Maybe your house was supposed to be completed by the end of 2022 but due to one or more reasons, it is not. Still. . . . . go ahead and celebrate what you were able to do in this 2022, be grateful to God for what you achieved. You did it in the one of the most volatile economies in the world so give yourself a pat on the back. Anyone wey say you nor try, make e go run am! #720 to $1 na ya mate? Don’t forget to acknowledge the life lessons you’ve learnt this year, from your own experience and from others’. Those lessons are there to help your future so that you can avoid the same mistakes. Life is turn by turn, don’t neglect to celebrate other people’s wins. That they are celebrating before you does not mean God has given them your blessings. God has enough blessings for all, your time will come. If you haven’t prepared a will, give it another thought. Especially if you have dependants whose wellbeing could be at risk if the undesired happens. All the toiling and sweating is wasted if it all ends up in the hands of those you did not intend it to and your loved ones are left hanging. |
folmus:Shebi Oyinbo say benefit of doubt, 2 sides to a story Now we have heard the cut and join explanation ![]() |
Bros, oro yin ti sun awon eyan. People just dey read and waka pass. The first thing I noticed is that you have decided to adopt N3xt’s playbook by disclosing your customer’s name when his moniker would do the same job. That is pure mischief and shows the level of your professionalism. That alone is a turn off for potential customers. When you now add this join-join, caterpillar explanation, you no try at all! Oro o dun l’enu yin, Sir! Your version does NOT sound at all credible! You even reported his wife to him, orisirisi! After feeding and housing your boy + you getting paid! Oga, e try at all! This your behaviour is very shameful! Do you think it’s all about the naira? How about time value of money, especially in a high inflation economy like Nigeria’s? Abi you think his #80k today is same as #80k of months ago? Diordaves talked about budgeting skills, that is basic 101 when you are running a business, otherwise you will become a scammer. If budgeting is too hard, borrow a leaf from Money121, owo customer ko gbo do pe l’owo Contractor. Mobilize clients’ funds quickly before you become tempted to marry another wife or buy hair for side chic or buy iPhone 14 for in laws or do Dorime with money that is not yours. That basic strategy will save you a lot of pain. The money for materials, labor, logistics - set it aside from the beginning like who dey pay tithes so that you don’t touch it and spend it without delay for the intended purpose. Learn to separate customers’ money from your profit. Only take jobs you can deliver on, oruko rere san ju wura lo. A good reputation will open doors for you but dis kain kurukere does nothing to help your business. Na here you go dey and newcomer Contractors go dey collect contracts that you should be getting by easy referrals. If you can’t run a business, let me remind you that not all of us are cut out to be business owners. It’s okay to be an employee if you don’t have what it takes to own a business. Know your strengths and weaknesses so that you know which suits you best . I know I have bad mouth and I’m impatient with bullshit so I wouldn’t do great as a business owner, that is why I jeje work for somebody and collect salary. I sleep well at night, better than the CEO because I don’t have to worry about dealing with customers and customer sentiments. In your case, if you have trouble handling other people’s money and delivering on contracts, then go and work for a contractor and be collecting salary instead of parading as a professional. Well, we all know how N3xt’s playbook ends. Abo oro la n so fun omoluabi, a word is enough for the wise. Adedward: |
Adedward:We are waiting for your version of the story. You have become quite the celebrity here. Haba! A new scandal every 3 market days. Village people are either seriously on your case -OR- . . . . . . . . .? |

redgem:Thank you |
money121:Thank you for the clarification, Sir. I will modify my comment. |
If and when Bolu messes up, his customers are welcome to publicize it on here. I beg to disagree that nobody knew it was Bolu doing the POP. I am very confident that offline, a number of people already knew and had formed their own opinions about the quality of his work. Should he keep quiet while Rotech77 casts aspersions on his labor and impacts his reputation? I salute his boldness, I would do the same. His calling out his colleagues is a challenge to anyone he has wronged to come out. If you cannot accuse him of poor work, your opinion about his voicing out means zilch. Air his own dirty linen here , that’s the only fair response rather than talking about throwing and bussing. This is not Rotech77’s first case in the last year. If my memory serves me right, isn’t this the 3rd time he has been called out since summer 2021? That’s like 3 times in the last year alone. Isn’t that how N3xt started? Or should we wait till there are20 accusers? Small time, the advisers will start harassing Akinola98 to delete his posts and cover Rotech777 so that the next customer doesn’t see the previous scandals. If your reputation is worth protecting, that reflects in the way you do your work. Abi should we blame village people for these repeated issues and absolve him of all blame? Sentiments all the time! Who did this to us? Customers should cuddle/cajole/pet contractors they paid to do a good job? For real? If you need supervision for the job you are taking as a professional, then disclose that to the customer upfront so that expectations and renumeration are aligned. No offence but it’s absolute nonsense for a professional to expect to be supervised. If you are paid to do a good job, there are no excuses! The buck stops with you. Even in the office environment, your employer wants results, not excuses! You’re either competent for your role or you are not! Abi Rotech777 is an intern, novice builder ni? Somebody bills like an experienced builder and when he messes up, the customer is asked to “work with him “ aka pay him more to resolve the problem like say he has a bottomless ocean of funds. Redgem, I thought money121 did your roof? Are you saying same roof is leaking? ***Modified*** Money121 only supplied the roofing sheets, he did NOT do the installation. |
Cold141114:If an independent contractor presents themselves as an expert, they should not need supervision. If the client could do it himself/herself, they would not have hired him in the first place. How can you pay a professional and still be expected to supervise him? If a trades person needs supervision, they shouldn’t be out there taking work that they are not competent to do. Instead, they should be working under a supervisor aka Oga. My church mind is telling me not to announce that the latest iPhone has just arrived ![]() |
I load and unload my online cart multiple times. Takes longer to actually “checkout” my favourite items ![]() |
topsy23:Awon ne’er do well ota aje ![]() |
CYBERSOLDIERSre:My statement is factual and I have no interest in converting this into a political discourse. |
Aaaaaaaw , so kind of you to do this for our young people. You have a good heart . naijamanyoutube: |
As long as you remember that we reap what we sow and there are real victims behind every yahoo scam. Your should expect to experience a lot of evil as a result of this undertaking. |
This inflation is worldwide and everyone feels the difference in their pockets, whether it’s less savings, cutting expenses, going without. . . . .. it is what it is |
EgunMogaji2:Sounds like congratulations are in order, Sir! Eyin iyawo a mo water bed o. . . . . .ain’t nobody praying about eni anymore ![]() |
