Yes, we live in a globalized world which means you are trying to compete with companies domiciled in countries where electricity is cheaper, labor laws are more flexible, infrastructure is superior and then the export market is undergirded by subsidies.

It will always be cheaper to import matches and toothpicks in a globalized economy when you have a huge infrastructeral and fiscal disadvantage.

The agreement was that the child stay in Nigeria, not be taken out of the country. You need to go through the process of legal adoption for that to happen.
