well you have to try to check up schools that offer that course. If u hav a list of such schools, alongside other criteria like cost, den advice can be given on which to pick.

3.08/4 is a very good cgpa that would qualify u to apply to very many schls in canada.

As for canadian visa validity its usually about 2 years even if your program is 1 year, I didn't get your second question though.

What's the deal with sop/loe? Is it now compulsory to submit it? because wen I was applying I neva saw the need for it, heck it wasn't even stated in the list of documents at all. Police report or any other kind of school result too wasn't required. Or is it just for people applying by paper?
anyway I applied since july and hav been in Canada since september ending, university of new brunswick, fredericton.There anybody coming this direction?
As for those facing delay in call for passport submission after medical, I also faced the same back wen I applied.the most annoying thing was dat dey neva replied all the mails I sent them.and even wen dey eventually called me to drop passport can u imagine that d visa started counting frm d 29th of august, immediately after my medical result was uploaded but they called me to drop my passport on the 15th September? My point is u most likely will get the visa don't be worried as long as u passed the medical. Just keep ur supervisor/sch up to date abt d challenges u r facing wit d application and try to find out the least possible time u can resume. Don't worry abt d registration deadline, u can always pay a late registration fee and register much later.

Please is there anyone here whom nddc have actually paid for their tuition and given the change to? I want to know how long to wait to get the funds, I completed the necessary submissions earlier this week.

I just got my sms yesterday but I am already in Canada. What if I didn't have my sim active here? Na so them for chop my money unto say dem send me sms i no reply. Why didn't they paste the list online or send mails? anyway thank God I got it and congrats to all the other recepients. My dad will be helping me collect it. I was told to give him an authorization letter and all the documents I used for the application. Is there anything else needed, and I hope my 10k go still dey intact?

No. Unless ofcourse u were working in canada bfor and need to renew ur visa.

normally online route is perceived to be beta and faster but with wat is happening to me and a fellow member on this forum, I would advise paper route.

tofam3k3: In the same shoes too. I did medicals on 22nd August, Asaju sent on 28th and still no word from CIC. I mailed them yesterday they responded with "Be rest assured your application is been processed". Lectures don start since, registration deadline is 17th September. I'm sure we'll smile soon. #GodAin'tSleeping!

Maybe it's a common problem with people that applied online. When did you apply?

I applied online and I always check my online account directly so no need to check my spam. And last i checked they had still not as much as started on the last stage of the application which is for them to come to a final decision concerning my application. When this is done and they approve then they will send me a mail still on that same online acocunt containing attached instructions on what to do next. That has not happened either.

Mine was online. I submitted july 15, got called for medical aug 20 and did it d nxt day 21st. Results were uploaded d following Wednesday 27th. And since then nothing else.
My friend dat applied through paper has gone to get his package though so I think you should go check for yours since you have confirmed that it has been dispatched to Lagos.

Klinkiddy: Thats Canada for u bro, I also shared my testimony lastweek wednesday that i received a mail from CIC that my visa as been approved but up till this moment, i haven't been called to collect my passport nd docs and class already started Sept 8. So what should i do?
Lets just av faith in God, it will surely end in testimony .

Well I can only keep hoping. My main concern is the challenge I will face with settling down in a new environment while at the same time trying catch up on the number of classes I have and will miss.

I beg this people (I am really tempted to call them very stupid) have still not taken a final decision on my application despite the fact that my medical review has long been updated (over 2 weeks ago) and I passed. The school I am to resume at ends registration today. The embassy isn't even replying my enquiry emails. A friend who we got called for and did medicals together (he even applied through paper and resumes in January) got his approved about 2 weeks ago while nothing for me that applied online. What do you think is the problem? The most annoying bit is just that they don't reply emails. Right now I don't even know what to do, whether to just give up or keep waiting.
