Neoteny: Boeing is the most successful airplane manufacturer, they've very many other plane types, the normal 737 is one of the best and safest, as is the triple seven. Most pilots prefer flying Boeing than Airbus.
It's not like they're novices at building planes, their software just reacted wrongly to a FAULTY sensor data, so if the sensor had been working fine this probably would not have happened. Softwares don't just react, and it's not a sensor problem. It is a software (programming) problem. That's why they are not replacing sensors, rather they are updating the software. Which means their programmers erred and Boeing just killed nearly 400 people, let that sink in. |

Tobechuckwu: CNNAfrica is just trying to defend d company, but they ought to have ask this question of worldwide grounding of the air flight. Even their President Trump calls them Fake News CNN on national TV, so what do you expect? CNN is a public misleading propaganda station for the One-World Order. Don't watch them anymore. |

Rosskii: So it wasn't the Ethiopian pilot's fault afterall, whereas, some of you were claiming ''it must have been pilot error'' that caused the crash.
One nairalander even said something about ''Africans and incompetence'' etc etc.
Bunch of stupid, self-hating nitwits (You know yourselves). They knew it wasn't the pilots. Because similar crash, same pattern, same model aircraft within 5 months couldn't be a coincidence. They intentionally deflected to prevent a flood of lawsuits. They are just lucky both crashes didn't happen in the West. Had it happened in America or Europe, the lawsuits that will follow will wreck the company permanently. 3rd world countries dey suffer |

Families of the deceased should sue Boeing for $100 trillion. Next time, they will hire better programmers that won't turn their aircrafts to flying coffins. |

Importer and exporter thieves The UAE will surely make a critical example of them to discourage any other thieves that might be thinking of trying the same rubbish. Travelling to another man's country, a Middle-East Arab country for that matter, for no other reason than to go and rob them, is suicide Some black people never learn. |

OkaNaUbe: So na "Oba" get that company. . As in eh, I'm surprised but not surprised. No wonder he controls such huge real estate. There was a time last year I think or 2017 maybe, that they did a fanfare parade in surulere. It was huge, really big crowd with dancers and live band, and a very long convoys of cars. Initially, I thought it was Christ Embassy doing October rapsody distribution, until they got to my side and handed me a flyer, then I looked at it and saw adron homes. Then all the crowd had adron homes, the cars too. Like the company must be really big. Lagos Obas are really enjoying |

kaen1317: but they can invest to take the oil. Is it not the oppression and suppression that gave rise to militants. So I guess the militants he been there since independence. Are the militants not guarding the oil, and collecting their own share? Let them not give them their share and then see how quickly they will shut down the production to a stand still. Is that not what nearly collapsed the economy and weakened the value of the naira when Buhari initially stopped paying them, thinking he could handle them with the military. But he soon found out that they are the real power brokers of those places, that you cannot mess with and go scot-free. And after crippling the production, Buhari had to quickly make peace and put them back on government payroll so as to save the economy that survives on Niger-Delta oil. This is the same reason Dangote didn't build his refinery in the Niger-Delta. Otherwise it would have been better for him to build it there, but he didn't want to put his billion dollar investment at the mercy of militants. |

kaen1317: Even though it's cheaper to direct traffic to the ports in the south south but NO. The people of the SS and SE must perpetually be suppressed but God will hear their cry one day. Nobody is supressing anybody. Maybe security is the problem with those areas. No large scale importer/company/investor would want his cargo moved to an area dominated and controlled by powerful militants that can decide to hold the port under attack if their demands are not met, their never-ending demands. Same way people would prefer to invest in America than to invest in North Korea. Nobody wants to do business in a hostile environment that is plagued with numerous uncertainty. |

realstars: If it is advance country this man will be admited in the military to produce weapons for the nation. But here in Nigeria he will be rotted in prison while giving the inmate more education on crim. Did the Nigerian Army tell you they don't have a weapons development unit of their own, or did they tell you they need a local criminal wannabe to teach them how to make substandard guns for warfare? I wonder how some people reason. comshots: Why not recruit him so that he can be manufacturing weapons for the army? So if you are the COAS, your recruitment criteria would be that every criminal with a crafty idea should be recruited into the army? So if you're the COAS, you would want your army to be constituted by criminal minds, right? SMH!!! PerfectlyPerfect: this is nonsense. it's super- nonsense. |
