Saudi Arabia does not import oil, Iran does not import oil, the UAE does not import oil, they are oil producers, and they refine their own oil, look at their economy today, incredibly buoyant. But we fell into the oil importation scam business, our rogue officials and rogue business men in collaboration with western companies and some western governments and they have kept us in the chains of slavery to oil importation to amass wealth for themselves while the masses continue to perish. May God judge all those that are running this terrible importation and subsidy scam in this country ![]() |
tactius:Look at you, just look at your mindset, this is one of the main reasons Nigeria is in chains, slaves to the political class. Your idea keeps us down the path of national slavery and poverty for the masses, while a few elite keeps doubling their wealth and become multi-billionaires. THE ONLY FACTS WE NEED TO FACE IS THAT Nigeria has no business importing oil, we are an oil producing country goddamit, a major oil producer, we have no freaking business importing oil. IT is because of oil importation that we have this subsidy scam of a thing running, that have turned some few people to mega billionaires while the masses suffer. The only fact we have to face is for us to cancel or ban fuel importation in this country and start refining the oil we need by ourselves, so we can sell at a fair rate that won't even be up to this current amount of 145/liter. Both NNPC, FG, oil marketers etc have been running the biggest scam in this country for too long. They sabotaged all our refineries intentionally. But you people can't see that. Too bad! |

taiyesoul:Correction, power of MONEY! Nigerian girls love money more than anything. Forget about tall, dark and handsome, if he's poor, no show. Money is their real specs. They can marry even a 10,000yr old man or be the 16,000th wife, so far as the man is very rich ![]() |
Tribalistic thread. Nairaland is a joke |
Not surprised. Nollywood = Oloshowood ![]() |
Was it not during FFK's time as aviation minister that we had the worst number of plane crashes in Nigeria's history? Always pointing hands at others but the truth is, people like this are part of Nigeria's problem, part of the people that destroyed this country to the point it is today. You are as guilty as the people you are condemning. The Almighty God will judge all of you las las, hypocrite. As for the insecurity, Buhari needs to do something different other than sending condolences. Do you know how many times Donald Trump has changed his cabinet members? Do you know how many military chiefs he has changed, not because he hates them but to keep getting better results at securing America and keeping Americans safe to pursue their dreams. Now that is real strong leadership. This is the kind of leadership President Buhari should copy. If a Minister is not performing, sack him and put someone better, if there is too much insecurity and people's lives are being wasted everyday, then change the security leaders and put other leaders there that have better ideas and more effective efficient strategies and techniques of keeping this country safe. If this insecurity matter is not tackled now and the nation's citizens kept safe, I don't think APC will be able to win the presidential elections in 2023. This is the same reason GEJ lost. Protecting civilian lives is the sacred non-negotiable duty of government. Do your jobs well and stop the bloodshed, arrest those responsible for the killings and bring them to justice. This is what civilization is about. |

moshino:Talking nonsense back to back. What a talent you have ![]() |
AntiZombie:£220k per week = $13.5m per year approximately . Just, mention one name, one verifiable identity, not even 2, just one person, a blue or white collar employee employed based on his university degree certificate that earns $13.5m per year on wall street or any sector for that matter in the educational system, not sports or entertainment. Staff oh, don't come and tell me the name of the Business Owner CEO like Bill Gates, like Mr Exposure did before ![]() |
AntiZombie:I'm talking exclusively about a salary earner, not a business owner's business profits, or earnings from shares and stocks. Show me one graduate in this whole world, not even Nigeria, that earns £220k per week as a blue or white collar staff or employee in the academic or professional sphere based on the university degree. No scholar on this planet gets paid that much as salary, even people that are geniuses. Highest maybe £800k per year or £1m/yr thereabouts. But here, you see a footballer turning down a salary of £220k per week, some are earning double that. That goes to show you the huge gap between how sports employers value their main workers more than the educational system does. This is my point all along. |
moshino:Typing a lot of nonsense to make yourself look smart doesn't make you smart. In fact, it makes you look stupid to knowledgeable people. As members of staff to their companies, Jeff Bezos (a billionaire) earns about $82K per year salary. Elon Musk (a billionaire) earns $37k per year salary. That is what they get paid as graduate salary workers. Per year oh, not even per month. I'm waiting for the next rubbish you want to type, Mr Exposure ![]() |
moshino:It is you that is very ignorant and myopic in thinking. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are both CEOs that run their own companies and businesses. Show me one employed graduate staff anywhere in this world that earns £220k per week. I'm waiting oh, Mr Exposure ![]() |
ednut1:So education doesn't generate billions? The stadiums they are playing the soccer in, who built it, is it not educated graduates. So why will a company get awarded $900m to build a stadium, but will pay the graduates workers $35k per year. But one footballer will earn £120k per week, whether they win or lose, it's not his problem, either the club fails or succeeds, he gets his money. This is the question. It looks like sports employers value their workers more than educational employers. This is what I'm alluding to |
This world is crazy. No graduate earns £220k per week , no matter how skilled they are or even with the highest qualification. Why ![]() |
Calculating:If the CJN is getting all this, then only God knows what our former Presidents , ex-Governors and representatives are getting, not to mention ministers and other heads of parastatals, and then we wonder why Nigeria is still a poor 3rd world nation where the poor live with less than $1 per day. The Nigerian government is too costly to run. The day we cut down our government is the day we begin to experience real economic growth |
