PoliticsRe: Marketers Ration Petrol, Lock Gates Against Motorists In Lagos, Ogun by MobilityExpress: 6:55am On Apr 12, 2019
Saudi Arabia does not import oil, Iran does not import oil, the UAE does not import oil, they are oil producers, and they refine their own oil, look at their economy today, incredibly buoyant. But we fell into the oil importation scam business, our rogue officials and rogue business men in collaboration with western companies and some western governments and they have kept us in the chains of slavery to oil importation to amass wealth for themselves while the masses continue to perish. May God judge all those that are running this terrible importation and subsidy scam in this country angry

The truth is, NNPC better face facts. Buhari better face facts, and Nigerians better face facts.

Nigeria cannot afford subsidy. Landing cost is N205, we expect depot to sell at N139...and marketers to sell at N145 per liter?

What kind of confusion is this.

Subsidy must go. Yes, we will pay N200-300 for fuel.Yes, the government is composed of evil people who have looted and defrauded Nigerians for ages. Yes, I am an insensitive person , Yes, the World Bank wants to shortchange Nigerians

But how can we run a system that makes the downstream sector run at a loss...and then start crying when sharp practices like smuggling, inflation, etc happen?? Because marketers are businesspeople. They have to make money. Subsidy does not allow them make a profit.

Once subsidy goes, all those evil marketers will make huge profits...but foreign investment will flow in, jobs will flow in, government will save money, and more refineries would be built, and EVENTUALLY...prices will come down.

Let's be real. Cheap fuel is wrecking our economy.
Look at you, just look at your mindset, this is one of the main reasons Nigeria is in chains, slaves to the political class. Your idea keeps us down the path of national slavery and poverty for the masses, while a few elite keeps doubling their wealth and become multi-billionaires. THE ONLY FACTS WE NEED TO FACE IS THAT Nigeria has no business importing oil, we are an oil producing country goddamit, a major oil producer, we have no freaking business importing oil. IT is because of oil importation that we have this subsidy scam of a thing running, that have turned some few people to mega billionaires while the masses suffer. The only fact we have to face is for us to cancel or ban fuel importation in this country and start refining the oil we need by ourselves, so we can sell at a fair rate that won't even be up to this current amount of 145/liter. Both NNPC, FG, oil marketers etc have been running the biggest scam in this country for too long. They sabotaged all our refineries intentionally. But you people can't see that. Too bad!

Correction, power of MONEY!

Nigerian girls love money more than anything. Forget about tall, dark and handsome, if he's poor, no show. Money is their real specs. They can marry even a 10,000yr old man or be the 16,000th wife, so far as the man is very rich grin

PoliticsRe: FFK: "Nigerians Are Being Slaughtered, Is Being Nigerian A Crime?" by MobilityExpress:
Was it not during FFK's time as aviation minister that we had the worst number of plane crashes in Nigeria's history? Always pointing hands at others but the truth is, people like this are part of Nigeria's problem, part of the people that destroyed this country to the point it is today. You are as guilty as the people you are condemning. The Almighty God will judge all of you las las, hypocrite. As for the insecurity, Buhari needs to do something different other than sending condolences. Do you know how many times Donald Trump has changed his cabinet members? Do you know how many military chiefs he has changed, not because he hates them but to keep getting better results at securing America and keeping Americans safe to pursue their dreams. Now that is real strong leadership. This is the kind of leadership President Buhari should copy. If a Minister is not performing, sack him and put someone better, if there is too much insecurity and people's lives are being wasted everyday, then change the security leaders and put other leaders there that have better ideas and more effective efficient strategies and techniques of keeping this country safe. If this insecurity matter is not tackled now and the nation's citizens kept safe, I don't think APC will be able to win the presidential elections in 2023. This is the same reason GEJ lost. Protecting civilian lives is the sacred non-negotiable duty of government. Do your jobs well and stop the bloodshed, arrest those responsible for the killings and bring them to justice. This is what civilization is about.

Yea its their salary

Be enlightened

There are graduates and there are graduates

People have one million dollar salaries on wall street. They are graduates and hedge fund employees
£220k per week = $13.5m per year approximately . Just, mention one name, one verifiable identity, not even 2, just one person, a blue or white collar employee employed based on his university degree certificate that earns $13.5m per year on wall street or any sector for that matter in the educational system, not sports or entertainment. Staff oh, don't come and tell me the name of the Business Owner CEO like Bill Gates, like Mr Exposure did before grin

AntiZombie:
Nope lots of Quant's and traders earn that on wall street

Some earn even 500k$ a week

undecided
I'm talking exclusively about a salary earner, not a business owner's business profits, or earnings from shares and stocks. Show me one graduate in this whole world, not even Nigeria, that earns £220k per week as a blue or white collar staff or employee in the academic or professional sphere based on the university degree. No scholar on this planet gets paid that much as salary, even people that are geniuses. Highest maybe £800k per year or £1m/yr thereabouts. But here, you see a footballer turning down a salary of £220k per week, some are earning double that. That goes to show you the huge gap between how sports employers value their main workers more than the educational system does. This is my point all along.

[s]To say that you are ignorant, uncivilized and unexposed is an understatement. You said "No graduate earns £220k per week" I showed 2 that does, now you say it's their own company. You obviously attended a glorified secondary school. Both Bezos and Musk are the founders of their companies, both those companies are public companies that are publicly traded, millions of people worldwide also own parts of those companies. Both Bezos and Musk are employed as CEOs of those companies by the BOD. There are many more graduates earning $1m+ per week - Hock Tan, Leslie Moonves, Nicholas Howley, Jeff Bewks, Stephen Kaufer etc, sorry I don't know any from your shithole. But I don't expect you to know this because you obviously lack the orientation.[/s]
Typing a lot of nonsense to make yourself look smart doesn't make you smart. In fact, it makes you look stupid to knowledgeable people. As members of staff to their companies, Jeff Bezos (a billionaire) earns about $82K per year salary. Elon Musk (a billionaire) earns $37k per year salary. That is what they get paid as graduate salary workers. Per year oh, not even per month. I'm waiting for the next rubbish you want to type, Mr Exposure grin

You are very Ignorant and unexposed. How much does Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos each earn per week. They're both University graduates.
It is you that is very ignorant and myopic in thinking. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are both CEOs that run their own companies and businesses. Show me one employed graduate staff anywhere in this world that earns £220k per week. I'm waiting oh, Mr Exposure grin

football generates billions through TV . Should the main actors there not be paid wellhuh Abi u want them to be slaves?
So education doesn't generate billions? The stadiums they are playing the soccer in, who built it, is it not educated graduates. So why will a company get awarded $900m to build a stadium, but will pay the graduates workers $35k per year. But one footballer will earn £120k per week, whether they win or lose, it's not his problem, either the club fails or succeeds, he gets his money. This is the question. It looks like sports employers value their workers more than educational employers. This is what I'm alluding to

Calculating:
The high ranking jurist is entitled to a N2.5 billion cash, a house for him in Abuja, N100 million for furnishing, a number of domestic staff and sundry allowances for personal upkeep — in addition to a severance gratuity that is 300% of his annual basic salary of N3,363,972.50, as well as pension for life.
If the CJN is getting all this, then only God knows what our former Presidents , ex-Governors and representatives are getting, not to mention ministers and other heads of parastatals, and then we wonder why Nigeria is still a poor 3rd world nation where the poor live with less than $1 per day. The Nigerian government is too costly to run. The day we cut down our government is the day we begin to experience real economic growth

You're wrong

Software (not softwares) are designed to react to situations, especially the MCAS which is designed to correct the plane's attitude or flight characteristics especially in stall conditions or uncommanded pitchup during thrust. That's all MCAS was designed to do: REACT.

In the case of the two crashes MCAS reacted to false sensor data, meaning the readings were offscale, and MCAS reacted to the false data by pitching down using the horizontal stabilizer trim controls to avoid what it falsely thought was a stall condition.

Now where the software erred was in turning itself back on several times after the pilots switched it off, and refused to allow manual control to the pilots.

Before the preliminary report i said this was what happened given the Lion Air crash and the report proves me right.

I'm something of an authority on airplanes and flight dynamics so i know what I'm talking about.
