@poster it depends on what level u are entering and your present salary.
CBN grade levels are few and Sanusi stupendously hijacked d salary of equivalent names(not levels) in banks to pay them.

See below;
1.SS(Snr Supervisor), this is d entry level for graduates. I do not know the current salary.

2. AM(Asst.Mgr), the current salary is between N7m and N8m as Sanusi took industry average.I have a friend in tha grade.

3. Manager, current salary is N10.8m,the same industry average was used.

I know only the above.Mind you,nobody in CBN will tell u that except if you are an insider.The salary they show to RMFAC is quite below by miles,to avoid NASS hammer.
Aside the above,they still make some allowances travelling,depending however,on your unit.

Compare that with a typical long ladder in a typical comemrcial bank.

1. ET=2.8M
2. BE=4.0M
3. BO=5.6M
4. SBO=6.5M
5. AM=7.8M
6. DM=9.3M
7. MGR= 11M
etc,

multiply each step by a minimum of 2 yrs and u can guess how long it will take you to make manager and earn as much as your counetrpart in CBN.

CBN has gratuity and a handsome pension scheme,unlike other banks.
You are unlikely going to be sacked unless for gross indiscipline and fraud.
So why are u wasting time asking questions?
Better go prepare well and get the job.
