Foreign Affairs / Re: Kamala Harris Breaks Zoom Record With Supporters Raising Over $1.8 Million by Mobolaaji(m): 7:43am On Jul 26
Mawan:
Is it money kamala was nominated to raise or to contest for the seat of the president of the United States?
Why placing so much attention on how much she raises through donation?
That is very important in American politics. Donations is one important metric that can tell how strong a candidate is. Moreover, the donations is from grassroots and not even big donors yet. She is here to and very strong. Gen Z are going wild for her.

It still won't stop Trump from being the president. That was how Hillary Clinton was all over the place until Trump won.
you don’t know shit. This is different.

Kamala Harris will not be voted. Those Americans showing support are simply saying Keep on twerking and dancing we are at your back.
When time to cast vote come they will be nowhere to be found. Ask Hillary
Says who?

Travel / Re: My Computer Science Degree That I Relegated In Nigeria Opens Doors Abroad by Mobolaaji(m): 12:59pm On Jan 11, 2023
GloriousGbola:

There must be an empty space between your ears

I am talking about employment as a worker

The man said he did not use his computer science degree in Nigeria and that he got a computer related job.

Just the other day I saw a friend on linkedin, one who was head of dept in a bank, now employed in Canada as an accounting analyst. His 15 + years of banking experience counted for nothing.

But yet a person who never even worked with his degree is claiming it opened doors.

On top of that, you are conflating admission to paid university programs (a source of income for the uk) with employment.

You are exactly the kind of suckers those agents love. One incapable of rational thought and who thinks the streets of the west are paved with gold for the picking
You are lying still. You can compete with your degree from Nigeria at any level. I’m using my degree with a multinational.

The man is lying. Nigerian degrees are not rated abroad. Even more so if you do not have relevant working experience. No one is going to employ an inexperienced Nigerian on the basis of his degree alone.

Sit down there and keep saying everything is a lie.My degree is from a state university in Nigeria. I’m working for a multinational. Not just at ordinary level.
I just got a regional recognition for an outstanding performance. Keep saying everything is a lie.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Arrives Yobe For APC Presidential Campaign Rally (Photos) by Mobolaaji(m): 1:20pm On Jan 10, 2023
MrEverest:

I'm also a Muslim but I will never vote for Tinubu because he is just a kafir. Someone that can't even recite ordinary koranic verses is not a true Muslim.

I will rather vote for Obi who is honest and clean than vote for a criminal drug dealing fake Muslim like Tinubu.

Tinubu will fail insha Allah!!!

Otondo Muslim, you prayed for him to fail if God wishes. He may also win if God wishes.
You’re surely one Kafir too.

Family / Re: What Is the experience getting married to A Medical Doctor? by Mobolaaji(m): 1:29pm On Jan 09, 2023
Akwaokukuo:
Hey guys, this question goes to the men in this thread who are married to medical doctors, especially those working in the UK or any other western country.
What are your experiences?
Judging from the busy schedule of medical doctors, how do you guys take care of the children?
What are the biggest challanges you face in your marriage?

I am currently dating a medical student and plan to send her abroad immediately after her studies.
I would appreciate hearing from those with the experience or those whose relatives are married to medical doctors and both of them live in any western country.
Thank you.

You might just about to make a mistake of your life. Most of the stories of husbands killing wives start just like yours is about to start.
A young lady is introduced to you, you barely know her. You will do everything to bring her here , support her education and after graduation boom, everything will change. Many people coming to abroad are delusional, they don’t know how things are here. You need to be truthful to yourself first, I mean you want to bring a potential medical doctor.
Let me ask you this questions first;
1 what kind of career do you have
2 do you think when she started making money, you will be able to match her income at least.

Do not think about now, because you’re hungry for a partner or sex, think about then.

This happens when you are not educated or have low self esteem issue. Or you don't have a good job, don't socialize, read books or a boring person. It's easy to get women in US than in Nigeria cos not all are attracted to you cos of money. The fact that plenty people are liking your comment is actually crazy sha grin grin

If them tell you day he easy na set up , it saddens me to see educated Nigerians gathering their resources to travel out of the country only to do menial jobs they can't do in Nigeria.
you really don’t know what you’re saying. Not every educated Nigerian is doing menial jobs. Many Nigerians are doing great too.
