Mr. Aresa I see you are very loyal APC partyman. Please advice your party principals they are speedily going into political extinction if people's mood across the nation continues this way.

1. APC, especially the Presidency allowed Saraki and PDP take control of the NASS - a very costly mistake for the President to travel eve of this election.
2. APC and the Presidency have failed to expeditiously dislodge Saraki - poisonous mistake as the President is still traveling leaving many important things unattended.
3. APC and Presidency have failed to keep in touch with the source of their strength - the talakawas.
4. The Presidency has not demonstrated expected bite in decision-making, implementation, enforcement and monitoring.

No serious leader keeps rebels around long enough to cause avoidable damages.

Alams, love him or hate him stood with his people & fought to the end but

= Stewardship...
@Mayorchelsea

@funlord

@IspiksdatrOof

Seems my delivery missed my intention... so I'm going to edit my initial comment because it would so distress me to be counted amongst "supporters" of a looter who had to take to cross dressing to evade justice... it wasn't my intention, not at all..

Alams was not a leader that lived for service to humanity.. wasn't his style

My point was just on "forcing the Fed govt" to give them a bit "more" for resources found under their land, which in hindsight the agitation was probably an avenue to plunder "more"...

I watched Goodluck's 2015 campaign in Bayelsa & was astounded by the "jubilation" that rented the crowd when Alams stepped into the Venue..... Governor General, courageous, indefatigable etc were being thrown around..

this, & this, even this + a couple of TV interviews & NLERS going on & on about the "love" his people has/had for him formed my opinion about the perception of his person by his people, nothing more.

I still wonder why; despite all the revelations, Alams & Ibori receive so much admiration...

I've now realized "fought for his people" to the end should only be used for the Ghandhis , Mandelas, MLKs, Tutus, Garveys, Rosa Parks etc...... I'm sorry!!

What's "aluwo"?

Anthony Joshua is the real deal. I knew he would knock that guy out in the 1st four rounds and I put money on it. He has massive power in the right hand.

The 3rd heavyweight boxer in history to win an olympics gold medal and world heavyweight champion.

And this was a guy that had to start boxing to escape prison. Even his dad is proud of him now and he follows him everywhere with his belt.

An inspiration to a lot of people and he's super humble and super African.
Aluwo is a "knock out cold" charm... I keep forgetting, no mind me cheesy

Alu- to beat down, wo- crash, so you see that blending both makes it more potent...

I don't follow boxing (I'm strong but I can't watch beat down for fun, I cringe.) but you so waxed lyrical about this guy that I had his name wedged into my brain..... was absentmindedly watching till the first "ground receiving" jab he landed on the guy before I could concentrate, twas done...

Just told myself, a gatz to Holla @ shy smiley... but we can't claim him since he's winning medals for mama Charlie nah.

He stood by and fought for his people by looting them dry and left them with not even 1 classroom as accomplishment...

What kind of people are you people? smh..
Don't shake your head, say whay you mean, your response dey cooler...Have I ever applauded Alams as a person? Did I make reference to his stewardship in the state?

I'm referring to him as a "symbol" of resource control.... He fought for what most of them are benefiting from & they didn't it even deem it fit to honour him, which is the premise of my position or one can't freely express anything positive about him?

Na wah oooo.. undecided

OK I should blame GEJ abi? You are the only one who can not see how hopeless this government is? Who appointed the INEC chairman that appointed incompetent INEC worker?
INEC staff are career Public Servants, they are not appointed, only the chairman & the 12 commissioners (2 from each region) are appointed & screened by the senate...

You expect Buhari to police their activities + NYSC adhoc staff in each polling booth?? Issokay!

All the elections in Nigeria since Buhari became president has been inconclusive. Ordinary state house of assembly of one ward is inconclusive.

I wonder why people still have hope on this man and his Party. I have not seen one thing this government started and concluded.

If he can not conduct ward elections, I wonder where our hope will come from.
No vex but na Buhari dey conduct the election? Or is it his fault people have turned elections to blood letting & avenue to cause mayhem?

The situation of the country in the last couple of weeks isn't what one would call "satisfying",

However one would be forgiven for thinking Nigeria was a mini Dubai / Mecca/ Doha (countries where -in the time of plenty-the effects of petrodollar was felt by BOTH the bourgeoisies as well as the elites ) that was flowing with milk & honey, with the way some have been going about it!! cool

Wonder what people are expecting to happen in famine, especially when no effort was made in preparation for such a period!!

Nothing is as ridiculous as Nigeria "wasting" its scarce crude oil Forex earnings on importation!! It's Damn crazy!!

Anyone that quotes me to yarn nonsense will have the kind life that is a replica of Nigeria during the recent crude oil price boom,

Which simply means the person have major potentials, earn impressive income but. Still "eat" like a church rat!! cool

"As part of their plan, they are already distributing money and other materials to some faceless civil society Organisations, market men and women associations and other shadowy groups with a view to instigate demonstrations in Lagos, Abuja and Ilorin starting from Monday, April 11.
What stops Crookola Saratiff from doling out some more cash to sponsor a counter demonstration in his own favour since he is being "persecuted"....

He & his co dishonorable instigators probably got wind of the planned protests by different CSOs in order to "force his hands" (pun intended) since he has no integrity or honour in him to do so willingly!!!

This Nation ehn!! People just send the oral cavities on errands without insisting their cerebrums tag along to provide sentry duty!!!

Saraki is in court already for an offence bordering on the revelations of Panama P, or has that part not registered yet?

& part of the grouse of a section of the country is that he is being "persecuted" for going against the dictates of his party, same "de-facto" head of the party is supposed to issue statements or what exactly?

Our people sit in air conditioned offices & issue all kinds statements without weighing the impact or fallout of such!!

There is a reason people don't discuss matters under litigation, no one wants to be accused of prejudicing or casting aspersion on the court & its abilities!!!

ATERI:
Very well said! One of the things that can bring people together,surprisingly quickly, is an empty stomach. Hunger never uses a foreign language that people would find difficult to understand. In today`s world, a hungry and angry graduate in Kaduna is now in touch with the one in Osogbo who went to the same school with the one in Enugu; this can nullify some of the variables we often focus on revolution. Once you have no food, no job and not sure of a roof over your head tomorrow, you have nothing to lose.
You've made strong points (was planning to engage you on the 1st point before I saw this & didn't want to make it to lengthy) but you need to understand that "hunger" is a relative term.......

Definition of hunger exceeds the pedestrian view of a strong & compelling need for food/nourishment. Hunger is really a NEED.. what is then critical is how to define individual /Regional/collective goals & aspirations.

What Ade hungers for may not be be Azu's, Audu may even view Azu's hunger as mere vanity!! As it stands now, the hunger of each region do not tally, so revolution is not something that is likely to happen in this land.

Moreover, the Arab Spring debacle does not a good model of revolution make, years after the fracture isn't near healing..
