Firefire:
The overhype and media noise and propaganda is what me as a person personally hate in our SW governors.

Let the people know the truth without hiding anything.

Beyond creating some functional state department like KAI, O'Yes, Lastma, O' Cadet etc. to create job.

Beyond buying 10 motorcycle, 10 sewing machine, 10k for 10 indigenes... and labeled it constituency project.

I believe the respective state government can make a policy to support SME by providing low interest loan to support their enterprise across the state.

The collected constituency allowance should by the legislators should be well accounted for, and should be deployed to their respective LG and constituency.

We cannot mention any other job creation without mentioning diversification into agriculture, the state government to ensure provision of enough mechanized farming tools that can be rented at a discounted price across the states of SW.

The government can also support the farmers in providing adequate preservation for their farm produce.

And the list continue...

E&OE
When did states in a non regionised, no fiscal independent federation become FINANCIAL INSTITUTiONS.. huh cheesy

In your free time, read about FRANNIE MAE & FREDDIE MAC.. it will help you understand the role of government policies in development of a nation a bit more..

You know how many times you've tried to get my attention on this forum, I've ALWAYS ignored you. But I chose to give you this reply today and it would be the last you ever get from me.

Quite frankly, of all the people on this forum, you are the one I feel sorry for the most. I get this feeling there's never been a moment in your entire life when you were happy.

I see a poorly raised ghetto scum forced by circumstance to scrape living off the streets and scrap yards. You had parents that never gave a fvck about you and made you grow up with the belief everyone hates you.

You wound up a bitter, aggressive and perpetually unhappy deadbeat. You have no idea what the future holds for you, uncertainty abides with you every moment of the day and you just can't deal with the misery.

So to let off steam, you come to an anonymous and faceless site to thrash and curse at everything like a piranha out of its natural habitat. In here, you find scums like you who could tolerate your idiocy, but out in the real world, you recede into your lonely dingy cocoon like the irritable complex ridden bum you are.

I believe you are still underage, perhaps 24 or less. Trust me, your mind is still malleable. Devote more time to reading some helpful books and the bible (if you are a christian). Try to find a nice homely broad (as impossible as that might be for a guy like you) that would show you some beautiful side of life, give you an idea what it feels like to be liked/loved in real life. Then try to make peace with yourself. Life isn't as fvcked up as you think, it is just you who's fvcked up.

Think about it son.

Now i am insulted!!!, why do you feel it is impossible to raise objection without acting like a demented fool?

Not everyone is lacking in ways of expressing themselves & would therefore resort to curses & abuses to fill in the gaps...

on the God & covering up part, it is not about conformity, it is a matter of conviction. ...

I am a christian, the only covering i do is to cover my hair to church, but body parts still are not in display..

My religion does not require total covering, decency is enough....

Politics › Re: N10million Bribery Scam: Presidency In Dilema Over CCT Chair by modath(f):
It was however learnt that the lacuna that has kept Umar in office till date might not be unconnected with the provisions of the law, which make it impossible for the President to remove him from office without getting two thirds majority support from the National Assembly.
The former CJN who headed the NJC said: “The National Judicial Council, on the recommendation of the Federal Judicial Service Commission, has no power to either discipline or recommend removal from office of the Chairman of the CCT to the President. Hence, the reason why Council was unable to investigate the allegations levelled against Hon. Danladi Yakubu Umar, Chairman of the CCT.
“It is hereby advised that in consonance with the Rule of Law, which is one of the cardinal principles of this administration, the case before EFCC against Umar should be allowed to follow due process.
Laws designed to act as checks & balances sometimes become bottlenecks...

“Since Constitutionally the Chairman of the CCT is not a judicial officer, the power to discipline and remove him from office, lies with the Presidency, please,” Mukhtar wrote on May 26, 2014 to the Presidency, washing off her hands.
Perfect illustration of no will to fight corruption & some crazies will insist on wailing all ovwr one's mentions in the face of obvious FACTS..

But Mohammed Adoke in another memo to President Jonathan dated May 7, 2015, asked the President to set in motion measures to get Umar removed from office.
Adoke said: “That under the constitution your Excellency may remove the chairman of the CCT upon an address supported by two thirds majority of each House of the National Assembly praying that the chairman of the CCT be so removed for inability to discharge the functions of the office in question on grounds of misconduct or for contravention of the law...
“IN the light of the foregoing therefore, Your Excellency may wish to initiate the necessary steps for the removal of the CCT chairman from office,” the former Attorney General wrote..

Beautifully written

I do understand superstar1's (or was it shymmex) reluctant to discuss politics because it muddles everything. However, we can't develop our economically if we discuss the political stance of the leaders we chose. What are they for and what they're against determines what they're going to spend money on.

Yep, the problem is systematic......There are hidden complexities we, the people, aren't meant to know [understand].

Nigeria has a do or die political system [thanks to OBJ]. We can end it by cutting down salaries/bonuses drastically.
I get Shymm3x & 9jacrip wella, i too don't discuss politics, End Time Pastors & other people's lifestyles cos of the highly contentious & polarizing topics that they are but i believe if we are open & free with our opinions, we will all learn & be able to build the kind of yorubaland of our dreams...

Babe, you are posting very beautiful & attractive pictures of what we should have but how do we get from the pits to the mountain top without sweating?

& be honest, do you think a westerner will fly to Ikogosi, Yankari Game reserve or Obudu cattle ranch if the risk of being caught in a BH attack is still a possibility ?

*sidebar* .....Most people on here don't even understand the kind of deep poo this country is in...

A friend who works in one of the revenue earners for the country told me ydy that the the president & their head honcho cancelled some fraudulent contracts but have no choice but to re instate them cos the penalty clauses are grave indeed...

How will any forward thinking leader agree to insert in a contract termination clause of 1.5 billion USD in a 500m contract cos the beneficiary is a political affiliate!!! shocked

I will say what it is without having to kowtow to anyone's opinion about how it should be said..

I don't get how we think we can get the Economics on point if the political is off key..

We talk of regional cohesion but of 6 states 2 are mortal enemies of the remaining 4 ...

How then do they co operate on issues of regional development... politics of EXCLUSION is what is being played in Nigeria
