AAs own ebonics.

When some AAs write in ebonics, you'd think it's a completely different language entirely. grin grin

And you don't want to get in war or words with these folks, they'll annihilate you. grin
Have you ever been lost & asked for assistance from someone speaking ebonics?? cheesy grin cheesy

Shymm3x:
Sir, I think the problem with these politicians is that: a lot of them don't actually go there to solve anything. More time they see politics as a business to maximise profits - and not a service to the people.

Once you have folks with a skewed mentality like that, and followers who don't really understand anything apart from praise-singing once loose change swings to their way - nothing is going to change. The whole country - leaders and followers - need a change of mentality/drive.

But your ebonics is child's play in relation to all the "They head" "Me shoe" "Y'all be bishing" etc of Afro AM... Their's is a work of Art.

Nigerian banks can't be SME friendly because
1. They are/were making so much money from the government
2. The environment is conducive for it with high inflation and excess liquidity in circulation.
& the most heartbreaking part is when one sees these SME people (that their account officers have promised to move heaven & earth for,) running helter skelter, back & forth banking halls submitting docs, providing guarantors, etc for facilities you sure as hell know isn't going to be granted but can't tell them.. cry

Dino is a disgrace to the good people of Kogi west!
Why did he raise a false alarm that Remita firm made 25 billion Naira in TSA charges??
Dino was trying to use a stone to get rid of two birds....

1.Get back at the President & Tinubu on the Saraki issue.

2. Frustrate the TSA cos MDAs are no longer going to be able to bring returns for BUDGET APPROVAL..

They can't stop employment because some critical staff will age and retire. However the problem will be greatly reduced if the employment process is closely monitored to ensure that those recruited match the actual needs in the particular ministry or MDA.

With time, the redundant staff will age out
Seems I want direct enough..

The reason for the overbloating of the civil service is the culture of politicians sending names with letters/ cards to heads of MDAs or making it a condition for budget approval.

How do you expect these heads to refuse without any backlash?

How can you blame a bank? The bank is looking for a quick buck and don't forget that banks are taking risks by giving out these loans. You can't blame me if you come to me for a loan and I inform you that my APR is 46%. You have the choice of walking away.
It's in jest, who doesn't like a quick buck?

Wish they were more SME friendly though!!

Most folks would think no black chic will ever date a redneck. But shyte, there used to be one popular super-Afrocentric black chic on YouTube back in the day. She had locks with beads, dashiki, and all kinds of accessories pro-black folks wear. This heifer only talks about how white people are evil blah blah blah.

Later, folks discovered that while she was preaching all that nonsense on YouTube, she was getting d1cked down by a redneck. This chic ended up having a baby for the racist redneck yano? grin grin

Unlike when the Ibos lay claim to "their people" in other parts of the nation, the yoruba don't expressly lay claim to the OBVIOUS YORUBA OKUN & ORO, OFFA etc they are the ones to speak up & Seek to be in the COMMONWEALTH..

I believe that is the foundation of the endless back & forth arguments, accusation, e war etc.

Then you proceed to beat the child black and blue in an effort to prove who's Boss and force respect out of him.... Or let's examine a worst case scenario you kill him off in the process as an example that nobody ought to provoke you in this era with your military background.

Don't you think PMB has hurt our economy with his measures to prove who's Boss to looters? PMB is fighting with action and the state of the economy can testify to this.
No GOOD parent disciplines a child to PUNISH, MAIM or KILL.

The aim is to CORRECT & instill GOOD CONDUCT.

True. I guess this was one of the prophetic methods GEJ prophesied about using technology to fight corruption that we all laughed at back then.
Let me give you an illustration;

When you keep mouthing "I will beat you oo" to an errant child & never back up your threat with action.

Will the child ever take your words serious or even respect YOUhuh? ....

You love Hero, you won't see any wrong in his stance but Hero's fight was all on paper & in words, no action was taken...

Danladi Umar of CCT was recommended for removal by former AGF to hero in 2014, what actions were taken despite the other panelists refusing to sit with him because of the 10m bribery allegation..

Please leave Hero out of this, we've flogged his issue & it has become boring.. Thx.

They are ALL THE SAME INCLUDING THE LEGISLATHIEVES , they don't care, My main crush is BUbu, Fashola is a subordinate crush.. wink

I live in FCT, I've lived here since the MILITARY days, you don't have to be a saint or Godly, just have a small sense of right & wrong, you'd hate PDP too....

The only people who have good to say about PDP in FCT are thieving govt officials, i am with public service, i know what i KNOW & SEE...

Let me give you a little illustration,

I have a friend in one of the major revenue earning outfits of the nation who told me something 2 days ago that made my blood boil further....

Their Boss recommended to Bubu that some fraudulent contracts approved by HERO be cancelled, they went ahead & did, only for the person's lawyers to write to demand for the amount in the termination clause....... wait for it........

The termination clause in a 500m USD contract is 1.5b USD!! cheesy cheesy, who does that?? cheesy

They had to give the contract back to the person, cos they can't afford to pay that sum at the moment, there are many of such fraudulent contracts, believe that...

The best they can do is to police the contract as much they can to ensure better accountability..

What Hero effectively ensured was that his crony will sit on that contract till thy kingdom come.... I don't walk in the corridors of power but we know one or two things, PDP brought this nation to his knees, from that unstateman from Abeokuta to the shoeless one, it's been disaster but the shoeless one did the most damage cos he needed to curry favour & therefore agreed to ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!!

Agitating for regionalism online won't do much good. The relationship between representatives (senate, house) and constituents is broken in Nigeria for many reasons. If people start to pressure their reps to push for Regionalism, then discussions can start. This is why I posited earlier that the issue is mainly leadership. Can the current Yoruba leadership not see these issues or is it that they don't care?
They should make an effort to care, irorun igi ni irorun eiye, If the economy is sound, their constituents who beg them for One one naira & hold them to ransom against their next election...
