U must be a difficult person to cope with. It's likely OCD as others have pointed out.
I don't see myself as a difficult person and people who are closed do not refer to me as difficult.

Chioma should sit there forming wife. David would wreck her life and still not marry her. The stupid boy is using her as a stage prop and a source of attention. He has monetised her relationship and uses it to her attention.

In the end, Davido won't marry her. You think Dr. Adeleke, PhD holder who owns a Private University would allow his son marry a university dropout?
Chioma and her family are big fools blinded by longthroat
So the girl drop out? I'm worried for her, shes ruined and I'm sure shes sad in the inside.
I remember staying with flavours baby mama and her child, Stephanie, a beautiful baby for that matter, white skinned. But because we are in a useless country, flavor will not do his responsibility for the cuties

Yeah, all ocd persons face that!! Always !! Had one roommate like that. I knew I frustrated that guy shaa grin
But OCD people do not stop the repetition stuff na. They always clean and clean despite frustrated.
But I noticed that I'm very foresighted, and I hate to be harsh or talk loudly or get angry with people, so when I frustrated, I just keep quiet and accept them like that/take my mind off it.
But I think OCD people would always be repeating it no matter how they are frustrated

Yes, it was paying until I travelled to a place where some people were lackadaisical towards hand washing and other things. I would wash all the handles every minute till I stop since people were frustrating my efforts

Are you an August born?

As much as I don't believe entirely in zodiac signs, there's still some truth in it.
Lol, me too ma'am, I hate all those zodiac signs whatever, I do not even stay where people discuss such irrelevancies. Its usually a coincidence when it matches with personality, its unreasonable and not scientific. How can a child that is supposed to be born in a date then because of some medical emergencies was born in another date fit in those signs. All those things does not make sense to me
FamilyRe: Who Else Has this Personality Disorder: What is the Name by ModestGal(op): 8:48am On Jun 09, 2020
I think its wrong to seek perfection, but I'm gradually learning how to do things averagely
FamilyWho Else Has this Personality Disorder: What is the Name by ModestGal(op):
I have this personality I just discovered a year back.
I don't know the name of the personality, it makes people perceive me wrongly, and I never knew all these years until I studied myself and learnt about it.
I often do not do things averagely, its either I perfectly do things or don't at all.
I would have called it a perfectionist, but the definition of perfectionist is quite different from me.
For instance, its either I clean sparklingly clean and have it always clean or I leave it dirty
Its either I draw perfectly well, or I don't.

Its like I pursue just perfection in almost everything and when I can't, I neglect.

I remember when I was in sec school, I would so much care for my objects or I leave it to rot.
I used to wash my calculator whenever it has a stain, and when it got spoilt, I was given another one and I allowed it to rot because it was not even fine the first place.

In university, I would do my assignment in a perfect way, I was never zero in that. I would overdo to the extent I know how.
During examination/test, I would over read, for instance, let's say there's a topic now that we just glanced over, that those that really owned it is in another department, I would go to that departmental library to read a whole textbook on it, meanwhile having a lot of my own course still left to read, doing this would make people wonder and think maybe my department is the most difficult in the whole university
I'm a graphic artist, I would want to draw things perfectly, and whenever its my own personal job, I would end up wasting my time

I also sew cloths, that one is the worst,as I would correct to the last extremely insignificant error. It may just be a missed stitch, I could loose a whole cloth because of a meaningless error. Many atimes people would tell me to leave it, I might have left it but in the middle of the night, I might take the cloth and be wondering if I should leave the error, and later, I would secretly loose the cloth, correct it and resew.

The only thing that saves me if I do not know how to be perfect in a task,as in if I could not identify an error, then I would make it to the perfect way I know how to.

The problem is that it makes people perceive me wrongly, that is, people describe me in two opposite ways. For instance, Mr A, who knew me being super clean would describe me as a super clean person, and Mr B would describe me in an opposite way. Some people would say I'm not friendly or I do not talk, meanwhile some would say I'm a talkative
Some would say I'm very dull while some others would say I'm very active and energetic, and when these two people meet and they see themselves describing me differently, they would start asking me funny questions of why.
For instance, I was a completely two different persons during undergraduate and Masters. The master was the real me, the undergraduate was because I was not fortunate to meet or be with people I would want to converse with and thus, I became extremely quiet, and was in seclusion most times, but during Masters, I did my Masters in University of Ibadan, I met many great young intelligent people, every minute with them is like being in HEAVEN for me,and we would discuss in a lengthy way

Please if you know the name of my personalty disorder, kindly let me know so I can google it, and please help me with tips on how I can cope or solve this problem. Thanks

TravelRe: Nigerian Man Dies While Being Deported From Canada by ModestGal(f): 4:11pm On Jun 08, 2020
salford1:
Nigerian man who died after altercation with border officials said deportation would be a death sentence.

"This is a life and death issue," he said in the hearing, according to the transcript. "I told the officer if you are asking … 'You are sending me to my death.' It's like you are asking me to drive into a ditch … very dangerous for me."

"I'm not asking for money, I'm not asking for housing, I'm not asking for medical help, all I'm asking for is please, your honour, save my life."

Calgary police are probing the death of a man who died following an altercation with border officers as they were trying to deport him. Police, who have not publicly identified the man, said it will be months before full details can be released about the man's death.

But documents from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada Immigration Division identify the man as a Nigerian citizen who had been engaged in a lengthy battle to stay in Canada.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is not naming the man until his next of kin have been notified.

An autopsy performed Wednesday did not confirm a cause or manner of death. Further testing can take up to six months, said Staff Sgt. Colin Chisholm with Calgary Police Service's homicide unit.

The altercation took place prior to takeoff from Calgary. The plane was forced to return to the gate, where the CPS airport unit was called to the scene.

Officers found the 49-year-old man in medical distress. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the altercation with the border officers took place around 3 p.m. He was officially declared dead an hour and a half later.

The two CBSA officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

RIP to the poor man, he should blame his fore fathers that ruined the country. He would be with them now questioning them why they have raised such useless leaders the way they are, why they remain silent on matters of justice, why they fail to emulate good things in advanced countries, why they hav made their children believe in fairy tales, unnecessary superstitions that have kept our people backward

The people are their leaders, the leaders where chosen by the people from the people.

That aside:

Thanks for your post modestGal. You see, we especially Nigerians are quick to blame African Americans for fighting for their rights. We expect them so just take all insults and degradation like their ancestors did as early as the from the 1600 to mind 1900s..

Right now in the US, if you asked a white person if they would rather be black. The white person would reject because they are in the know of how blacks and other minorities blacks are treated i.e. they are aware of their white privilege.

Some are quick to point out that blacks are violent and are no do wells, they will point to Nigerians doing great in America, but they also forget that for every 1 Nigerian doing great in America, there are also 10 African American doing great as well. Alot of fortune 500 CEOs are African Americans, but racists would rather pass on the prejudice notions of how blacks are violent and up to no good to justify their brutality and injustice towards blacks.

In the US, racists do not care if one is African, Carribean or African American. They can't tell the difference. Once you are black you are black.

Finally, the little freedom that blacks (African, Carribean, AA) and other minorities in the US enjoy today was fought for via protest and riots.
They had to fight for a right to vote, they fought against lynching, they fought against segregation, they fought for rights to be called humans e.t.c. Centuries of injustice and it's effect can't be undone in a few decades. It takes time. This fighting is what has helped them so far in getting some freedom they have achieved. It works for them and every little step they take is a another step to total freedom. If they give the white man that call themselves the super race a chance, they will totally re-domimate again.
You spoke everything in me brother, I love you, just take it that way.
Meanwhile, I believe that as Nigerians, those of us that have this mentality need to raise our voice and explain to people.
''The people are the leaders and the leaders are the people'', I love this part very much. Would like to connect with you if you don't mind
People with this mentality are rare to come by, especially among the poor population, most youths are only intrested in
1. Running away and not looking back (AKA Japa in Yoruba)
2. Or publicly say, Nigeria is non of my business, and curse on Nigeria that their fore fathers destroyed when the African American forefathers were fighting for their own unborn generation. I call them from ''grass to grace'' From ''nothing to everything'' and they are still fighting hard for total freedom and justice today which their unborn generation would enjoy.
BA inspire me a lot, most of our people do not read, they do not read history at all

How? If you don't stand up for what's right in your society, and do your part in making your community grow, your children would share in the mess.
The go home of a thing is how Americans/Arabians mock Nigerians and people of African descents, it happens when they raise their voice against maybe maltreatment, and they tell them go home, you should understand how that would pain a generation that never knew when is father left his country. These people are living in depression, I know 3like that with their root cut off Nigeria trying to comeback home because of such mockery

I have made it a mandation to do my part in making Nigeria great. And thus, I will go against all backward beliefs, acts that has resulted in making Africans to have less respect everywhere.
Its inhuman burning people, no matter what you think, allow the law to deal with them. This only happens in Africa and makes other race think of us as barbarians and stupid people. Burning people can never be justified.
You all love to go to America, London, and other advanced countries, what makes them great is doing away with such barbaric behaviours and choosing sane ones, don't be a parasite to them when you are even too weak to make your own country great. If you support this barbaric act, then I pray you never have the chance to step into a white Man's land

Racism will never end until we blacks started living life worth of emulation and giving exemplary leadership.
We blacks are wicked, selfish, crude, dishonest and not trustworthy. Ours leaders are corrupt and despotic.
We always see black players fight during training. Ballotelli, Sterling, Boateng ,Richards etc
I agree with you, my opinion is that the people are worst than the leaders. In fact, poor people own worst(I'm part of the poor people).
Selfishness is when you allow your own country to rot and travel to a country where their people worked hard to build a sane society to enjoy and when they tell you to go back home, you scream racism.
Black people choose religion over sanity and yet run to country that have chosen sanity
Black people believe in crude backward culture and not ready to throw away fallacies, tales and fairies but yet glorify and run to a country that have thrown it away.
Please allow Black Americans to fight for their racism and stop calling them racist and that they don't like Africans, no one likes a backward thinking people who refuses to do away with such backwardness.
No one likes people who run away from their countries without looking back
No one likes people who only talk I'll of their country and never pray for it or wish it well
No one likes a parasite: Period

If African people want to be respected, you need to earn it.
We all respect Black Americans because they worked for it, stood for it, all in one VOICE
