Dis explorer guy, I always enjoy ur posts; always very enlightening. Big ups bro! |
Our senators have gone mad! What about the whistle blower protection bill? No they won't pass that one cos it would embolden people to expose their corrupt acts. What abt the PIB? No the, Northern senators would not agree cos it wld benefit Niger Deltan communities and the southern senators are too busy sharing money to battle it out with their northern counterparts. Yet they would pass an anti-petition act so no one would petiton them for their crimes cos they cld easily bribe the courts not to give permission to any petition that they are not comfortable with. We need a peaceful revolution in this country to overthrow the current political class. And that revolution would only come when we the Nigerian youths become more active in the political affairs of this country (physically active not social media active) rather than sit at home waiting for Osinbajo to share five thousand naira for us. |
Snipes009:Sensible people who fail to look at the issue from a broader perspective, abi? Lets not isolate this child terrorism from the whole terrorist act perpetuated in the name of Islam. There are good muslims; faithful and devout muslims who would never engage in terrorism. My point is that they should come out and do more in condemning terrorism. The persons carrying out sucide bombings do it in the name of their religion and more muslims have been killed by terrorism than members of other religious sects but why are good hearted muslims not speaking out. Rather than condemn terrorims, they try defending Islam by saying it is a religion of peace. That is my anger! For example one of your kids misbehaves, lets say beats up another kid within he neighbourhood such that the kid is hospitalized, do u come out announcing to d whole neighbourhood that your family is the best, won't rather scold your child heavily for doing such a disgraceful act and by that the neighbourhood would know, that it isnt that your have bullies and not well behaved kids but that its an act in isolation and has been dealt with accordingly. Dude, let us think and stop playing hanky-panky with such issues. Lets face these issues head on and deal with it. The northern elites, clerics and religious leaders are not doing enough. Do Imams condemn terrorism in their sermons in the mosques? I have never heard such. |
nwakibie3: Na u talk am ooo ![]() Good thinking bro |
fowowe411:U simply don't understand how these things work. I looked at the issue from a broader perspective. It all boils down to the use of Islam to brainwash both kids, teenagers and adults to carry out suicide bombing. If u say we should just focus on the topic of this thread, then how do u explain adults carrying out suicide bombing or isn't that also an important issue? Mr. Man, so far Islam has done more harm than good to the world IMO. Good hearted muslims should do more in condemning terrorism; after all, more muslims have been killed by terrorism than members of other religions. BTW, so long the Sunni, Shi'tte and other Islamic religious sects keep drawing lines of division among themselves, there wld be no end to this evil called terrorism. My point is not that Islam is bad but that there persons carrying out evil acts in the name the religion, so muslims shld rise up and do away with those fanatics among them. |
Snipes009:Truth is bitter to the eyes and ears, but hey, we've gat to say it. |

Perfect response for a stewpid request! |
harbarzzy:Where are Christians concentrated more in the country; the South right? U think if it was in Enugu, Delta or Lagos state BH was killing people like chickens, Christians won't protest? BTW, do u know that muslims have been killed more by terrorists (ISIS, Boko Haram, al Quaeda, al Shabaab, e.t.c) more than persons of other religions. Shi'ite muslims shld keep isolating themselves from other sects of muslims rather than joining hands together to deal with this three-headed hydra called Boko Haram. Smh ![]() |
NextGovernor:We requested for a copy of the thesis dissertation of your PHD holder but he refused to show us and you expect me to believe he has a Ph.D? When you read some of his famous blunders, you begin to wonder if they don't teach critical thinking at University of Port Harcourt. |
