You used incompatible transmission fluid, hence your transmission's malfunction, and that is just the beginning.

To prevent a total transmission failure, you should stop driving the car for now, while you get the correct ATF to replace.

What is your car's brand and model year?
That will guide on the recommended ATF.


Note: There must be a reason your transmission fluid level was low in the first place. Assuming the transmission is healthy, I would think you probably have leaks at some point along the transmission fluid lines. You should address the reason for the drop in ATF level if you find any.

House please I need a quick help.

I noticed my gear oil was depleted and decided to add more to top it.

The previous transmission oil I used was a Dextron 3 but I used Holts to top it up and I drove the car this morning but noticed the car revs so much before changing gear and revs too high before moving from a stagnant position.

Please help.

Hi guys. Please I’d like to ask what can be done to a Honda Civic 2003 that blinks “””D””” Drive gear light once it’s engaged.

I scanned and it gave me a P0758 Cose which translated to problem in shift solenoid valve B. I removed and cleaned the solenoids but the issue still persists.

Although a rewire serviced it previously but it works and stops.

Recently it stopped working and blinks almost immediately you put the car into gear.

I took the time to remove and clean solenoid myself. Tested it with a battery and seems only one part clicks.

Kindly advise peeps.

Please people you need to be cautious as this lockdown is beginning to turn into a nightmare.

The picture of the man below is one of a 3-5 man gang robbing and looting people’s houses inward Abraham Adesanya/Sangotedo area of ibeju Lekki.

CCTV footage was able to let us know that they’ve been in the area of the robbery below for as much as 5 hours scouting and looking at several houses for where and who to rob.

The compound where this footage was provided reported they made away with Generators and Almost 30 liters of fuel, while some other houses lost their AC Units and Generators too.

They came in a TOYOTA HIGHLANDER 2010 - 2012 series, with a set of black alloy wheels and tinted windows all through. We are still trying to confirm the plates on the vehicle.

Although residents claimed they saw a

Lagos (LND 481 FZ) plate number,

but it’s yet to be verified.

People should be on high alert as this lockdown may end up becoming worse than we envisaged.
