To me Agbaje has always been a smooth talker and has a way of convincing only the clueless people, he won the debates in 2007 too, yet Fashola won the election and performed exceptionally.

But the moment the campaigns and debates started,Lagosians were blown away by the oratory,depth,mastery of subject matter,astuteness and clarity of thought process of Fashola such that all the other AC candidates who decamped in anger were quickly consigned to the Sea of Political Irrelevance

The rapidness with which people fell in love with Fashola is something never-before-seen
